Automatic timetable generator project

hi all ,
i've been assigned a project -
to create a site for our college that automates the process of generating timetable..using jsp.
i've formulated the list of constraints..
i'm not clear as to what inputs i should get from the user .. n how to use those inputs in my program..
i do not know where to start..
pl help ..

Do you need to visualize a pre-defined timetable in a JSP or calculate a complete timetable given some constraints?
The former is rather easy, the later is very, very hard (NP-hard, even).
For displaying, I'd like to point you towards the [JEE tutorials|http://java.sun.com/javaee/reference/tutorials/].
For calculating a timetable, it's probably one of the "if you have to ask, it's too hard for you"-things.

Automatic creation of project from Sales Order?

hi..
can someone guide me how to automatically generate PS Projects from SO USING TCODE HBS0?
i have been able to generate projects automatically when i use tcode VA41 but my need is to do this for RE using sales browser and creation of Sales Order is by Tcode HBS0.
when i save the sales order, no project is created. ( Note: Material i used is same one i used successfully in VA41+)

Creation of project from sales order in SAP Project system is described as assembly processing.
In the Project System only networks can be generated directly from a sales document during assembly processing. Indirectly the system can also generate work breakdown structures, when it creates the network.
1.You start assembly processing by creating a sales document for a material. This sales
   document can be inquiry,quotation, sales order.
2. The system then
    Configures the material, if necessary
    Creates a network using the standard network as a template
    Configures the network, if necessary
    Schedules the network backwards from the required delivery date
    Checks material availability
    Costs the network and transfers these costs to the sales document.
3. When you save the sales document, the system saves the network together with the sales
    document. If applicable, it also generates a project definition and work breakdown structure.
    The project number is derived from the sales document number.

Automatic Creation of Project (PS) from SO (SD)

Hi All,
I know that you can automatically create a Project in PS upon creation of a Sales Order. My question is if it is possible to limit the creation only at a WBS Element Level.
The scenario is that the Project we're actually implementing is a Subdivision/Village/Community and the Houses being built inside it are regarded a WBS Elements only in the Project. So that I am querying if it is possible that upon order of a House, only a WBS Element will be created that we could attach to the Project Definition (Represented by the Village/Community)...

Thanks for the speedy reply, i'd like to follow-up on the question since as you've replied, it is possible to crete at WBS Element only... can I refer/attach the SO-created WBS Element to a Project Definition? Since I like to consolidate them to one Project Definition...

When I click "duplicate", it automatically duplicates the project in its current hard drive, unlike the previous FCPX that gave you options. How do duplicate to a different hard drive?

Since projects are now stored in events and events are stored in libraries, you need to create a new l;bray on that different drive or open an existing library on that drive. Then duplicate your project and move it to the new library. It will copy the media. Then use the Consolidate Project File command to round up any external assets; there may or may not be any.

Hi,
A new PO is created for a 3rd-party sales order item when indicator Create purchase order automatically (V_TVAP-ALEKZ) is set for schedule line category and the Event PUR_ORDER_CHANGE_VIA_SD_EVENT is activated (SWFDVEVTY1-ENABLED field is marked). Please see information in note 332475 for more information.

The TOC in my generated project is not navigating to the correct subfolders

The TOC in my generated project (Multiscreen HTML5/Andriod (Desktop) layout) is not opening to the correct sub folders.
For example, when selecting a Level 1 folder (say the one highlighted in orange), it will jump to a Level 3 list of topics in a completely different level 1 structure (say the list highlighted in green)

IMovie at start load automatic the last project :-(

It is possible to make so that Imovie does not open in automatic the last project at start? It is annoying.

Thanks Mathew but when I choose the imovies it auto loads my last project. I can load a new one as you say but I have to wait until the previous project loads which can take an age. I just want to go straight into imove and choose between new or old. As you would any other program but maybe I am missing something

I work at the headquarters of a small company of 8 offices and 26 employees. I am the central database system. Right now, information is only accessible through me, by me, from me, and to me via fax, phone, mail, or email. I have several spreadsheets with different information resulting from personal information, cell phone information, laptop information, government vehicle information, contract information, and training information.
I want to develop a database that will automatically keep track of this information as entered by the user. Whenever there is a change or update, the system will be able to automatically accept this information into the system. Information will come from each workstation in the office that only the managers and I can see. The managers will however only have access to their individual employee information, but I will have access to ALL the employee information. All information created, provided, and maintained between me and the managers will be conducted through RDBMS. Triggers will be used so that information can be updated or inserted through SQL. LAN-to-LAN connections are already in place so that information on the network can be accessible. Preliminary plan is as follows:

ERS for automatic PO generated via GR

Hi all,
I am trying to do ERS for a PO which is generated automatically at the time of GR. But I am not able to do it, when i m doing ERS via MRRL, it is showing no documents found. But similarly for the same material and vendor when I manually create a PO followed by GR, I am able to do ERS.
On analysis, I found that during the automatic generation of PO at the time of GR, the EKRS table is not getting updated but at the time of manual creation of PO, the table EKRS is getting updated.
I have checked the checkboxes of the vendor master and the NO ERS checkbox is not flagged in the info record , in PO, ERS checkbox is flagged both the time. Kindly help

Then I would believe that is your problem. In the typical process when a PO already exists, the ERS indicator is set for each line item. So when the GR is performed the system knows that it should be treated as an ERS item and populates the EKRS table with the appropriate values.
In your scenario the GR is done first.... therefore the system does not know it is an ERS item for that supplier and it does not populate the EKRS table.

How BPM studio developed(generated) project be deployed onto WebCenter?

Do as the tutorial of BPM studio, it tells to click run and there is already a test portal that can run and test the Process, I really don't know where the studio put the packaged files on the test portal environment and how it works.
My question is in our requirement purpose, we will use the the feature that oracle tells BPM can be integrated with WebCenter, so how to deploy the BPM studio developed project on WebCenter? What configuration I need to do?

If you want to run your process inside the portal (webcenter, alui), then you have to install your standalone BPM server with the workspace extension (WE). WE does the Webcenter/ALUI integration: portlets and sso. After your BPM WE configuration you can just import portlet and webservice settings with a pte file generated by the config wizard. You can use Process Community out of the box or setup your own communities.

Does aperture automatically save to projects

When importing pictures into Aperture, are they automatically stored into the Projects section? I've created albums with my imported pictures, but am now at a standstill as I keep getting message of Insufficient volume space to import. Is this because pictures are being stored in both Projects and Albums? How can I get around this? I don't really want the pictures in Projects. I thought that Aperture was supposed to have more storage space than iPhoto, but I'm running into the same problem as with iPhoto.
Also, is there any other way to import pictures from off an iPhone other than through Aperture? Is there a space that I can go to see the phone being connected like when a USB drive is inserted?

All images in Aperture are stored in projects. The images you see in albums are really only pointers back to the image in its project. There is no duplication, the image is only stored once in the project.
You can import using Image Capture also and copy the files from the phone onto your disk. But it sounds like your disk drive is full.
