BPEL Database Schema Configuration

Hi,
Where do i find BPEL database schema information? Please let me know. I use SOA Suite 10.1.3
How can we find out what schema we are hitting for the BPEL instance ??

Pradeep

Hi Pradeep,
You can find the exact details of the schema creation etc in the sql file invoked from the soa_schemas\irca\irca.sh (irca.bat) from the install folders of SOA Suite.
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28980/appendixa.htm#CHDBIGIA
In case you want to see the connection details for your install, they would be in data-sources.xml file under $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/oc4j_soa/config directory.

  • Where to configure database schema detail in Oracle forms?

    Hi, i'm new to Oracle Application Server. Our version is 9.0.4.
    I have been searching on and no idea which file that stored the reference to the external customer database schema (not the infra repository database) that will be used in a form.
    Is it hardcoded in the form?
    many thanks
    Edited by: user12023552 on Dec 23, 2009 7:34 AM

    Is it hardcoded in the form?Possibly not. You can specify it within the URL or, better, create a configuration section in ORACLE_HOME/forms90/server/formsweb.cfg.
    See http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10464_05/web.904/b10470/configure.htm#sthref168 (userid parameter).
    BTW, isn't your version a bit old ?

  • How can I connect to a different database schema,other than adobe?

    I'm building an application where I want to use a different database for it,for storing additional data for the users(different from "edcprincipaluserentity" table in "adobe" database stores)..How I can connect to my database schema created in MySQL from Workbench,to assign tasks to my users,using the Process Management/Assign Task service?

    You can only assign task to user that are known by the LiveCycle User Manager.
    When you configure LiveCycle, you can tell it where you want to get the users from. They can be created them locally in the local database, or synchronized from an LDAP directory in which case it'll read the users from LDAP and make a copy of some of the properties to the internal LiveCycle database.
    Bottom line, all users have an id (in the edcprincipalentity table) in the adobe database.
    If you need your users to come from a different database, then you need to customize the SPI (security provider interface) so that you can synchronize the users coming from your external database. Again, this is a customization since out of the box, we don't synchronize against external database. But it is possible, the API is there and other customers have done it.
    I hope this clarifies things a bit.

  • Installation stuck at Create database schema Phase 13 of 27

    Hi
    I am installing the Netweaver 7.01 SP3 and have already removed it completely after getting stuck at the same installation step. Do not know what is going wrong. A small extract of the log is shown below. Any advice on how to proceed will be helpful. I know when einstalling it has to be removed completely which I did using uninstallation and then clean up tool. But again it is stooping at the same step. I had let it run more almost two days but of no use. My system configuration is good enough with 2GB RAM etc.

    Guess you are talking about sapinst.log file. Below are the last few lines after which it did not proceed
    Do see the last step create DB schema....... The previos log was from sapinst_dev.log
    Oliver I have a doubt could it be becuase of the host name.
    The host name of my machine is "skumar278-1" with DNS domain name for SAP system "asiapac.globalcsc.net"
    Could this be the reason for the problem i am facing i.e installation getting stuck at phase 13 Create DB schema.... Other than this I cannot see anything else which can go wrong.. Do have the DHCP server available..
    The page file as per the ram settings i.e for 2 GB should be 3072 so I have set it to the same. Though
    the prerequisite page shows
    "For the selected services at least 7138 MB swap space are recommended. Current value: 2851 MB. (Updated 2005-06-24)"
    Can this be the reason???
    Also I just looked at the services file.. there are about about 4-5 different files with the name services .3 services.4 ...  services.5 etc als there is no entry for port 3900 3600 & 8000.. .. do not know what to do... Please suggest..

  • Help me to fix the error while running DBMaintain Against the Database Schema in ASE.

    Hi All,
    I am trying to install sybase mobiliser platform 5.1 SP 03.I am  referring the following guide
    http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/topic/com.sybase.infocenter.dc01871.0513/pdf/Mobiliser_Platform_Installation_Guide_5.1…
    Now I have configured the ASE database server with default settings and now it is running fine.
    Now my concerns are as follows:
    1) I have executed the database schema (mobr5): 001_MONEY_drop_and_create_user.DDL with the help of linux command
    isql -Usa -SASE1 -Phello@123 -i/opt/sybase/db/sql/001_MONEY_drop_and_create_user.DDL -o/opt/sybase/ASE-15_0/install/ASE1.log
    How do I check the created database schema and user with default name 'mobr5'?
    2) While running DBMaintain Against the Database Schema, I have followed the steps mentioned in the guide and made the following changes in the file dbmaintain.properties.ase
    database.driverClassName=com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybDriver
    database.url=jdbc:sybase:Tds:ASE1:5000/mobr5
    database.userName=mobr5
    database.schemaNames=mobr5
    database.password=paybox
    #Must be set if the driver is not packaged inside the scriptarchive or is present on the classpath
    #e.g. /path/to/driver.jar
    #database.driverLocation=/path/to/jconnect.jar
    database.driverLocation=/opt/sybase/db/sql/com.sybase365.mobiliser.vanilla.standalone-5.1.3.RELEASE-scriptarchive-ase.jar
    database.driverLocation=/opt/sybase/db/sql/com.sybase365.mobiliser.vanilla.standalone-5.1.3.RELEASE-scriptarchive-ase-vanilla.jar
    When I execute the script archives ,
    java –jar /opt/sybase/db/sql/com.sybase365.mobiliser.vanilla.standalone-5.1.3.RELEASE-scriptarchive-ase-driverless.jar -c /opt/sybase/db/sql/dbmaintain.properties.ase
    java –jar com.sybase365.mobiliser.vanilla.standalone-5.1.3.RELEASE-scriptarchive-ase-vanilla-driverless.jar -c dbmaintain.properties.ase
    I get the following error:
    So please help me to resolve the issues.

    Hi All,
    Issue is resolved and database has been updated successfully..
    Error was in database .url field of dbmaintain.properties.ase file.
    I have changed the database.url field  from database.url=jdbc:sybase:Tds:ASE1:5000/mobr5
    to  database.url=jdbc:sybase:Tds:<Private IP of Linux instance>:5000/mobr5
    Note:- I am installing mobiliser platform on AWS cloud.So I have made use of Private IP address of AWS Linux instance.

  • Enterprise SecMgr: Can't add Database Schema Mapping to OracleDefaultDomain

    Hello,
    I'm trying to configure Enterprise Users (using a shared schema) and within EntSecMgr, I select...
    Realms / MyID realm / Enterprise Domains / OracleDefaultDomain / Enterprise Roles / OracleDefaultDomain / Database Schema Mapping
    and from there, I try to add the Directory Entry and schema. I don't get any errors when I click "OK", but the Database Schema mapping does not "take".
    I notice the little icon next to OracleDefaultDomain (in ESM) has a "lock", so perhaps it's read-only? How can I change that, or where should I be assigning the Database Schema mapping, if not in the OracleDefaultDomain?

    I never did figure out why I can't add the Database Schema Mapping to the OracleDefaultDomain, but I used ESM to add the schema mapping directly to the database itself, and now my Enterprise Users can login.

  • Is it possible to change the default "oraesb" database schema ?

    Wondering if it is possible to configure ESB to use a database schema other than the default one (i.e oraesb). Motivation: I have one database that I'd like to leverage for multiple mid-tier installations.
    From the IRCA script, I get the impression that this should be possible. If so, are any of these steps documented anywhere. Thanks.

    In theory yes, although I have never tried, nor probably recommend.
    Thinking about it, what you would need to do is install the SOA suite as you would normally using the default schema. Once installed and working copy the ORAESB schema into another schema of your choice.
    In the enterprise manaher you would need to change all the connection details to pount to the new schema. In the jdbc resources. Make sure that the names in the datasorce remain the same.
    I think it would be too dificult to do at install time.
    cheers

  • How can I use a mySQL database schema with numeric auto increment primary key instead of GUID?

    Hello!
    I'm using the TestStand "MySQL Insert (NI)" database schema with GUID as primary key. So everything works fine.
    But I prever using numeric values as primary key, because the database is in conjunction with another database which uses numeric values as primary key.
    Is this possible?
    Has anyone an idea how I can modify the "Generic Recordset (NI)" for use with MySQL?
    Thanks!

    The TestStand Database Logging feature does not allow you to run a separate SQL command after executing the command for a statement(table), so I do not think that you can use an auto incrementing column for the tables. There is just no way to get it back in a generic way. One option that I tried is something similar to the Oracle schema where you call a store procedure to return a sequence ID for each record that you want to add.
    So you would have to create the following sequence table in MySQL:
    CREATE TABLE sequence (id INT NOT NULL);
    INSERT INTO sequence VALUES (0);
    Then create a stored procedure as shown below that will increment the sequence value and return it in a recordset:
    CREATE PROCEDURE `getseqid`()
    BEGIN
            UPDATE sequence SET id=LAST_INSERT_ID(id+1);
            SELECT LAST_INSERT_ID();
    END
    Then update the MySQL tables to use INT primary and foreign key values, so the TestStand MySQL SQL file to create all tables would have text like this:
    CREATE TABLE UUT_RESULT
     ID    INT  PRIMARY KEY,
    ~
    CREATE TABLE STEP_RESULT
     ID    INT  PRIMARY KEY,
     UUT_RESULT   INT  NOT NULL,
    ~
    Then update the schema primary and foreign key columns in the TestStand Database Options dialog box to be INT to match the table. For the primary key columns, you will have to set the Primary Key Type to "Get Value from Recordset" and set the Primary Key Command Text to "call getseqid()". This will call the stored procedure to determine the next value to use as the ID value.
    Hope this helps...

    Do I need write schema property in data-sources.xml?

    To the data-sources.xml configuration file add a datasource element for MySQL. In the schema attribute set the schema file to database-schemas/mysql.xml.

        name="OracleDS”

  • AN ERROR OCCURRED WHILE OBTAINING DATABASE SCHEMAS sqlserver stored proc

    I have used the documented Oracle procedures for building the necessary wsdl and xsd files for a sql server 2000 and 2005 stored proc. The wsdl files and xsd are generated and incorporated per the tech doc. The process was working for a while and now, when we try to access the dbadapter partner link created using the wsd, we get the following error:
    "AN ERROR OCCURRED WHILE OBTAINING DATABASE SCHEMAS. VERIFY THAT THE DATABASE CONNECTION IS VALID AND IS SUPPORTED."
    We have tried getting this corrected by using each of the specified jar libraries as part of the project:
    sqljdbc.jar
    msutil.jar
    msbase.jar
    mssqlserver.jar
    Still, no solution.
    Anybody have this happen? Fixes? Help......

    If you used a command-line utility to generate your WSDL and XSD that would indicate that your JDev version does not support SQL Server so you can't use the Adapter Configuration Wizard to create partner links that execute stored procedures on SQL Server. Creating the initial partner link using the generated WSDL and XSD file will work fine, but if you try to edit that partner link in JDev it won't work if your JDev doesn't support SQL Server. You'll have to regenerate the WSDL and XSD as needed and recreate the partner link.

  • Invalid database schema for product hyperion reporting and analysis

    I tried to re-configure the BI core service to a new database
    But I get the message "invalid database schema for product hyperion reporting and analysis"
    The database is a restore of a production backup on a different MSSQL2005 server.
    I can not believe its really a sql schema matter.
    Does anyone know whats wrong?

    You cannot restore a BI+ database from backup...It is somewehere in the doc. There a re lots of references to the old server and config in the BI+ tables and you d need to edit/remove some files on the file server too. There is a doc available to do that but its far from simple.
    Best way is to export the content of your repository, configure a new DB and then reimport the content.
    If you re really stuck, drop me an email and ill send you that doc. I think ive still got it.

  • Export the database schema / structure to a file server

    I would really appreciate if any of you can share your experience on the following:
    Database-1: Oracle 8i/9i and
    Database-2: SQL Server v65/7/2000
    I am looking for a solution to extract all the database schema/structure to a pre-defined location onto a file server. I wanted to configure this thru CRON job (for unix) and Microsoft Task Scheduler (for Windows). Also this solution should work for all databases (must work with Oracle, SQL Server). The exported file should not be just a dump file (.dmp), assuming only oracle can read .dmp file.
    What are the possible ways to accomplish this.
    I am sure, several tools would be available to accomplish this (like Embarcadero Change Manager), but solution may not be cost effective. Can we write any program to accomplish the same?
    I would really appreciate your inputs.
    Thanks, Madhavi

    I am doing this job using bcp command on sql serverwhich create dat file and then transport the file to oracle server in location where I have created an external table.
    I belive that there is server level compatability which need no external programe or software. My one fellow told me once and when I got him I shall reply

  • GeneratingClasses and mappingFiles from database schema/ sql with ant/maven

    hi,
    I have an application using the the following ant script (it creates mapping files - hbms and sql schema for my database, basing on xdoclet for hibernate), (application also use spring beans in configuration file):

    Could u please give me some example applications/ant or maven scripts with some database sql schemat or some not very complicated links to the tutorials concerning this problem?

    If you're using Eclipse check out some of the Hibernate tools. I have used these before:

  • Installing Identity Center Database Schema (Oracle)

    Dear All,
    I would like to seek for some information about the installation of the Identity Center Database Schema. Based in the configuration document, after you have installed the database software, you may now proceed with the Database Schema for the Identity Center. I was being asked with the below questions once I initiate the mxmc-install command:
    1. Enter the Net Service Name
    2. Enter Password of the Oracle User
    3. Paswords of all default users for IC.
    Once I have provided all of this, I will received an error of ORA-12560: Protocol Adapter Error.
    As I have just followed the configuration manual, I am lost on why the installation is giving this error, I know that I only installed the Database Software and not the database.
    Based on the guide:
    Install the database system
    Install the Identity Center database schema
    Install the Java Runtime Environment
    Install the database client
    Install the JDBC drivers
    Install the Management Console
    Install the Runtime Components
    Install and configure SAP NetWeaver AS Java
    Install the Identity Management User Interface
    Post-installation: Configure the Java Runtime Environment
    Post-installation: Add the JDBC drivers to the CLASSPATH extension
    I am now in step 2. Please see system specifics:
    Operating System: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
    Database: Oracle 11.2.0.3
    Installed Memory (RAM): 12GB
    System Type: 64-Bit Operating System
    Can you please confirm if I need to install the Database first (Full database and not the Softwares only) Appreciate any help you can extend. Thanks a lot.
    Regards,
    Santi

    Hi Gurus,
    can any one please help with the steps for IDM 7.2 installation.we have O/S RHlinux and DB Oracle 11.2
    I have the following details with me (after going through the installation guides)
    I have already completed the installation of NW java stack (NW 7.4 standalone)required for the installation.
    form a standalone installation the installation guide provides the following steps:
    1. Install the database system.(Is this the Database syatem required for the NetWeaver AS Java?) if yes we have installed the database while installing java stack is that fine?
    we did not use scripts mentioned in the database installation guide for IDM 7.2
    2. Install the Identity Center database schema.(after installing the database syatem do we need to create a separate schema specific to IDM ? how can we do that?)
    3. Install the Java Runtime Environment.(What are these variables?) we have java version "1.6.0_34" ,OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.13.6) (rhel-1.13.6.1.el6_6-x86_64)
    4. Install the database client.(Is this the same DB client installation that is required while installing Netweaver java ?)
    5. Install the JDBC drivers.
    6. Install the Management Console.
    7. Install the Runtime Components.
    8. Install and configure SAP NetWeaver AS Java. (we have completed the installation of Netweaver java 7.4)
    9. Install the Identity Management User Interface.
    10. Post-installation: Configure the Java Runtime Environment.
    11. Post-installation: Add the JDBC drivers to the CLASSPATH extension.
    went through the guide to understand the following steps,but bit confused about the sequence and process to be followed,please share some idea on how can we perform steps 5,6,9,10 and 11.
    Regards
    Priya
