Cfdocument: How to design a PDF excactly the way I want?

Hello everybody
I’m trying to produce PDF files with cfdocument for a
Clinique here in Switzerland. I’m using the developer version
of CF8. A big issue is that I am supposed to make the PDF look like
it would have been printed on a prefabed letter, means that the
header and the footer both containing images on the right position
in the right dimensions. Furthermore the margins for the content
should have defined values:
Top: 5,5 cm
Left: 3,7 cm
Right: 2,8 cm
Bottom: 3,0 cm
I wasn’t able so far to create this because I
don’t have any control of the layout of the headers and
footer, means no control about sizing the images or sizing the
header/footersections or placing the images precisely in these
sections!
I don’t know whether my basic idea using header and
footers is right, may be there is a way to print text in a existing
blank PDF which already contains what I described as header and
footer? Would be great!

default.cfm: contains the code
IS.pdf: what cfdocument generates for the moment (it's far to
big in filesize!!)
SHOULD_BE.pdf: what I would like cfdocument to produce!
BE_HEADER.png: header image (much bigger but shows perfect in
PDF after scaling down)
BE_FOOTER.png: header image (much bigger but shows perfect in
PDF after scaling down)
The best would be if anybody could write me a sample code for
the above described problem – would be great!

mimeTypes.rdf does not seem to allow this.

''mimeTypes.rdf'' has nothing to do with web development. It's a file that stores your file handling preferences (e.g. if you want ZIP files automatically saved or opened).
You can't change the file types of the pre-defined content specifiers (audio/*, video/*, image/*), but you can specify additional MIME types. To add PDF to your above example,

How to create a pdf for the URL attached to an invoice and send it as an attachment in a mail

I have requirement where i need to get the URL attached to an invoice, create the pdf and send as an attachement in a mail.
The URL attached to an invoice can be seen by following the path : VF03-> Billing document->system->Services for object ->Attachement list.
On searching through existing forums, i found that there is a table 'SRGBTBREL' which stores relationships of GOS object. On giving the invoice number in field 'INSTID_A', i could find an entry in this table.
To get the content, i used the class CL_FITV_GOS, method GET_CONTENT. To this method i passed following values:
IV_ATTA_ID = FOL21000000000521URL39000000000012 (The value if field INSTID_B from table SRGBTBREL)
IV_OBJTP   = 'URL'
On execution, i get URL link but the content table is empty.
Could anybody provide some input on how i get the content? Or may be how i can create pdf from the URL link and attach it to mail as an attachment?

Solution provided by you is working when the link length is one line but it is not working for more than one line
Eg: say link is https://......80 [80 characters long]
I will give    <a href="https://...72            [in first line]
                 73..80">click here</a>         [in second line]
I will get the output as 73...80">click here
But i want only CLICK HERE in my output..
Please suggest solution.

I just got an Ipod shuffle in India.....2 GB....I want the songs to be played in a particular order only the way I can do on MP3 players....How do I arrange songs the way I want them to be played serially?

If you have iOS 5 on the iPad then you can create new albums directly on the iPad - you should get an Edit button at the top of the Albums screen in the Photos app. That will allow you create and 'copy' photos into those new albums (you can't copy photos into synced albums), but you can't delete the original photo - if you do delete it then all copies of it that you've put in other albums will also be deleted. I don't think that the total number of photos increases on the iPad when you copy photos into new albums, so I think that you effectively just creating pointers to them in those new albums, so if you delete the original photos on the iPad then all pointers to it will also be deleted.

You cannot stop it from popping up.
it will continue every few minutes until its installed.
just keep using the back button near right side of home button.

Everyone who logs into Facebook on my Firefox has this problem however if we use Internet Explorer - facebook looks normal.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

to know your version of OS, click on the apple, then " About This Mac".
Same thing for your version of iPhoto: in iPhoto, click on "iPhoto" then "About iPhoto".

The best way to get the songs in the order that you want is to make a playlist and then sync it over. Once the playlist is set, all you have to do is set to sync playlist in the music tab.

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!
