CSS 11503 - SSl - Unable to clear/delete rsakey

Hi,
We have recently configured an ssl redirect service on the CSS11503. This works great.
The css was then cleared of all configuration including all ssl cert/key associations inorder to test recovery.
The problem we are experiencing is that there is a rsakey file that is shown as existing but cannot be used or deleted.
Can anyone explain this?
Also when the generated digital certificates have been authenticated by Verisign. When trying to download to cisco a vendor code is required which we do not have?
Has anyone had similar problems?

There are multiple types supported by the CSS SSL Module and WebNS.
If you select apache, you will get a PEM certificate.
WIN2000 IIS 5 uses PKCS12, and NT IIS4 uses DER
PEM, DER, and PKCS12 is supported by the CSS.

I generally tell people to select apache, but the others should work. I agree, Cisco should be listed at the Apache website.

CSS 11503 SSL Module: .pfx file export to sftp

Hello
I wanted to know of there was a way to export the .pfx files off of the SSL Module to an SFTP server.....preferably in bulk not one at a time. I want a central storage location for these files in the event that the CSS or the SSL module crashes.

Hi Jay,
Sure you can export the .pfx files out of the CSS but you need to do this one by one, there is no way you can get them out all at once.
To export the files you first need to define your SFTP server IP address, username and passwd:
CSS(config)# ftp-record SFTP_Server 10.10.10.1 username "password"
Once you have the file name you need to enter this command:
CSS# copy ssl sftp SFTP_Server export Certificate.pfx PKCS12 "passphrase" "password"
: This is the password used to protect the file when it was created.
: This is a local significant password on the CSS used when the file was
imported into the box.
* If you don't know these passwds you can't export the files out of the CSS.

Unable to clear / delete invitation in iCal

I have an invitation showing in iCal.
When I click on the invitation, a meeting entry comes up in the dropdown/popup window, but from then on nothing happens - if I select the invitation iCal simply closes the invitation window. There are no buttons on the invitation - so I can't accept or delete it there, and since no entry appears in my diary when I select the invitation, I can't accept or delete it there either.
Is there some way to delete the invitation I'm missing?

I often have a long list of meetings, which I already had accepted or declined in mail or on my iphone and there is no easy way to delete them.
WORKAROUND: click on the meeting in the list (from the invitations in the button bar), it will be shown in the calendar. Click the meeting in the calendar. Use the backspace to delete it (or right click and choose "remove").
That way, no response will be sent to the person who sent the invitation (which already got a response from me through OS X mail or from my iphone).

Installing an SSL certificate for a CSS 11503

I'm having the hardest time searching for clear instructions on how to request and install an SSL certificate for a CSS 11503 Content Switch. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?
I'm also looking for instructions on how to replace an SSL certificate once it's been installed. Thanks!

To replace an SSL certificate, you'll need to remove the current certificate and re-import/create the new one.

Routing issue with CSS 11503

The senerio contains a PIX 515 E firewall,4507R Chassis switch and a CSS 11503. The servers in inside zone of the PIX is load balanced using a vip with default route specified in the CSS is the inside zone interface IP of the PIX
Now I would like to load balance the servers in the DMZ zone of the PIX with a separate vip(from DMZ zone) in the same CSS. Since the default route in CSS is towards the inside zone of the PIX, I am unable to see the load blanced pages from dmz. Is there any solution to load balance the servers of the 2 zones with 2 different vip's using a single css ?

The default behavior is to use the calling device's CSS for the redirected calls. In your case it sounds like you want to use the redirecting device's CSS. I haven't tried this myself but I believe you will need to change the following registry entry on your PGs. You will want to use option 2 (ROUTEADDRESS_SEARCH_SPACE).

Unable to clear out the stock in SAP

Need your help. I have an issue, my user wants to clear out the stock in SAP because they are the old stock and there's no stock in actual warehouse for those materials actually. it is just in the system taht showing those materials have stock in warehouse. but however, she's unable to clear out the stock. So when i check in the system, the materials are batch managed and still have open POs dated on 2003 which has already old. Is it the reason why she can't clear the stock? Do i need to ask her to off the batch management for those materials,then delete the POs and then only she able to clear the stock? Please advise on the solution..

Unable to clear Google search history in Safari

I am unable to clear old searches in Safari. None of the following has any effect: using the clear recent searches button, totally resetting Safari, deleting all history and cache and trying to delete each individual search item manually, or by changing default search method. These are old items, not recent searches, but they continue to show up in the recent search area. It appears to be a bug. Any ideas how to REALLY clear out the search cache?

Hope you are using Classic WHT for your company code in country GB.
And the Classic WHT tcode XX was maintained in customer master data, but the same code would have been deleted from the system. Since these line items to be cleared also, stored that tax code only. So you are getting this erro in F-04.
So you need to create the above said tax code in OBA7 and then you will be able to clear the customer line items with F-04.

ForgeComponent.cleanDirs unable to clear "processing"

We're using MDEX 6.2.2 with PlatformServices 6.1.2 on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server v5.7.
We've started facing a strange problem lately. While executing a baseline, it fails at Forge.getIncomingData. It fails while trying to move a sub-folder folder from data/incoming to data/processing. On further analysis we realized that the problem is being caused by the Forge.cleanDirs method. This method is meant to clear out the input-dir, output-dir and temp-dir configured for the Forge component. However, in this case, it is unable to clear the contents of the input-dir (data\processing). When this method is called, it simply skips cleaning this directory as if it is already empty.
We checked the permissions on this folder didn't find any issues. The 'endeca' user is the owner and even with a 777 access, this method is unable to clear it out. However, we are able to clean it manually with the same user.
We were able to fix this problem temporarily by deleting the 'processing' folder itself and then re-creating it. It worked fine for a couple of days and then the same error resurfaced.
This problem is present is only on one specific ITL server in our environment.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to clear Stock from Inventory

Hi All,
We have a issue where in user is unable to clear stock from inventory , basically these stocks are sales order stocks. When we check for sales orders they are not available in the system now.
When we try to do MB1B using movement type 413E, we get the error message saying the sales order does not exist.
Kindly reply is there is any way to clear this stock as the sales order is not existing in the system.

If you deleted photos from the Camera Roll album they may still be on your iPad. Check the Photos app and look for the Recently Deleted album. Photos reside there for 30 days in case you want them back. If you are sure that you want to delete the photos deleted them from the Recently Deleted album.

Internet keeps going in and out - "unable to clear ARP Cache"

I recently upgraded my WRT54GS firmware to ver. 4.whatever the most recent is. I also secured the wireless router using the WPE key. My internet connection on one of my wireless laptops will cut out for about 30 + minutes and when I try to reconnect to the network it says unable to clear the arp cache. This same laptop had no problems when the network was unsecured and the firmware was ver 2. whatever.
Any help would be appreciated as this laptop is used to work from home two days a week.
