Do you have a fix for the problem with Avast. Your upgrade process notifies me that it is not compatible with Avast so I always delete it. Soon I will just start using IE since Avast has worked fantastic for me. But I would rather not. Please help.
Avast needs to update their Web Rep add-on for Firefox 5.0.

How is the build quality of the E90? I had the Nokia N95 but i did not have it for long because of the bad slider. So if there is any clicking or anything when you are using the keyboard outside. Then i dont think it will be a phone for me. If you can press on the side and it will move. Like the slider on the N95 that also said a click sound.

From Kehaan - Denmark.I bought my E90 in South Africa last year and have been over the moon with it. It does everything I can think of and I have loaded stacks of applications on its 2GB card. I use it daily in my work for meeting minutes, calendaring etc and live on the Internet with it...
I fitted screen protectors on it which prevents the inner screen scratching on the keys. Only problem I have had is I tried upgrading the firmware at home from the Internet and it overwrote something it should not have. It rebooted once but did not reboot a second time and Nokia took it in and are reflashing it with the new version for me free of charge (I will probably not try doing this at home again).
Better news is something happened to my phone while they were working on it and they are replacing it with a brand new E90. I cannot wait to get it back and am having major withdrawal symptoms while having to work on my old 9300! -

Javascript won't load for this one website that I frequent. This just started today. All others websites work fine. This site works fine in IE. I've tried Safe Mode with no success. I have changed nothing since yesterday. Any help is greatly appreciated.

My daughter created a movie using iMovie 11, which she has worked on for a month. When trying to save it on a jump drive she was asked to "finalize" the movie, and while this was running (quoted 13 hours!) she received an error message. Now there is no record of it at all, I have looked in trash etc. Any ideas how I could try and retrieve the file?
The file cannot be reloaded in iMovie using File > Open Recent ??
There is no trace of the file in a Spotlight search?
The project files are not under <user>/Movies/iMovie Projects ??
Finalizing creates small, medium and large version of the finished video. It does take a long time, but it should not destroy your project files.
Oh, and you really MUST have a backup of your files. You can expect to lose files if you have no other copies of them. -
Hi. My Iphone 4 suddenly is completely off though it is charged. I even made someone else call my number in vain. I've been trying to switch it on, but in vain. First time this problem happened. I have no idea what happened to the phone. it rings correcly in the other line. Great ideas, thank you. I have two USB cables, both of which I have tried on my computer and my friends. Unless I got two bad cables in a row, I somewhat doubt it is the cause of my problem but it is still possible.
I haven't yet tried any other form of connecting to my PC though I plan to borrow a neighbors Bluetooth USB Dongle tonight if I can and see if that works. I don't think any of my friends have a Nokia that uses the same cable, but I could check that too I guess.
Any other suggestions will still be appreciated as I really doubt that these will solve the problem. On the other hand, you MAY BE RIGHT about my USB port on my phone. It is possible that it could be damaged, though I have used the same port with a headset and that worked. It might be that it was using a different pin configuration though. I also plan to try resetting to factory settings, and flashing/updating the firmware if I can find an authorized service agent of Nokia in my area. My cell provider may be able to help me in that regard, but it would be a couple weeks because they have to wait for a special data cable.
I appreciate all the advice. Any other ideas would still be welcome because I think there have been a few others who have had trouble with my particular model of phone. A funny thing is that my phone model doesn't seem to be listed as compatible with PC Suite, but Nokia told me it was. Hopefully it's just a typo. -

Anyone have a solution for the problems with Maverick iMovie?
I made the upgrade to Maverick and expected to have a bit of a learning curve but not a total revamp of basic stuff. I have a LOT of video files and when iMovie made the conversion, my files were so jumbled I couldn't make heads or tails of where things were. In the previous iMovie version I had all of my files nice and neat in folders, dated, labeled so I could discern what was what without too much trouble. Not so once the conversion was complete. I was so glad to find that my old version of iMovie was still on my computer as well and delighted that my files were intact and I could easily find them. Here's hoping that Apple is on the ball and will soon have the new imovie working like we have come to expect Apple products to work.
In the meantime, any pointers would be appreciated.I am trying to do a wedding and now spending too much time searching the web for tutorials and reviews to try to figure out what is going on. There needs to be better detailed help.

I have an issue with my Macbookpro 13". It stopped coming on when i wanted to use it and now the technician says it is the top case that has to be replaced since it appears i have applied too much pressure on the power key.
My challenge is that it is gift from my Boss to me and he is no longer in the country and i doubt if he still has the purchase receipt. I am being told that before it can be ordered, i need to produce evidence of purchase. What can i do?

If Optus is the original carrier, as would seem to be the case, O2 would not be able to unlock it. Only Optus can authorize the unlock, so you'll need to contact them. They say, though, that only the account holder can apply for unlocking, so you might not be able to get it unlocked and will have to work through the person from whom you bought the iPhone.

I have recently lost all my itunes library. All the CD's were imported, but I would rather not go through the laborious technique of downloading them on to my computer again. I have tried all sorts of methods to restore my library, and have now given up. I have deleted itunes completely from my computer, and reinstalled the program.
I have now bought itunes match.
Unfortunately, I now realise that I will lose all the music on my phone if I use itunes match. So, is there any way of transferring the music on my iphone back to itunes?
Can anybody help?

First, I would try the following suggested steps for when you don't see content in iTunes after updating:
Quit iTunes.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes.
Use the Finder (Mac) or Windows Explorer (Windows) to go to the iTunes folder that contains the iTunes library files:
Mac OS X
/Users/username/Music/iTunes/
Microsoft Windows Windows XP and Windows 2000
\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
Microsoft Windows Windows Vista and Windows 7
\Users\username\Music\iTunes\
Drag the iTunes Library file from the above location to the Desktop.
Open the Previous iTunes Libraries folder in the iTunes folder.
Locate the file named iTunes Library YYYY-MM-DD where YYYY-MM-DD is the date you upgraded iTunes (Year-Month-Day).
Drag this file to the iTunes folder (the enclosing folder).
Rename this file to iTunes Library.
Open iTunes.
You should now see your missing content in iTunes.

Your AppleTV should not be looking for any wifi, It should be looking for your wifi. What kind of wifi router do you have and how far is it from your AppleTV?
