  • Programming multiple smart cards with multiple smart card readers in a PC causes a PCSCException in a smart card that is in progress

    Hi,
    I develop a Java code using smartcardio API to program a smart card. My GUI allows to add at most 5 smart card readers that will wait for card present, then do authentication and program the smart card with an application, then wait for card removal. This is a separate thread running in a loop for each smart card reader added as programmer.
    The problem occurs when a certain smart card is in progress and I inserted another smart card to another smart card reader.  Both smart card reader halts and throw sun.security.smartcardio.PCSCException: Unknown error 0x8010002f.
    I also observed that every time there is an attempt to insert/remove a smart card in the smart card reader that is connected to the USB port would cause the programming in progress to be interrupted and throw the PCSCException.
    These are some exceptions I got during my testing:
    sun.security.smartcardio.PCSCException: Unknown error 0x8010002f
      at sun.security.smartcardio.PCSC.SCardTransmit(Native Method)
      at sun.security.smartcardio.ChannelImpl.doTransmit(ChannelImpl.java:171)
    java.lang.Exception: Loader Record Failed: 6E | 0 //Sometimes I got this return code SW1 0x6E SW2 0x00 which means an APDU with an invalid 'CLA' bytes was received. I had check the command before it was sent and it was correct.
    Help me understand this issue. I think the CardTerminal.isCardPresent(), CardTerminal.waitForCardPresent(0), and CardTerminal.waitForCardAbsent(0) cause this issue that CardChannel.transmit(apduCommand) is interrupted or the smart card insertion/removal causes the CardChannel.transmit(apduCommand) is interrupted.
    Regards,
    Knivez

    Hi,
    when you work with one smartcard reader only usually you address the slot -1 that means "the first found".
    But to deal with multiple readers you have to use slots of course since one reader will be slot 0, next reader will be slot 1 and so on...
    So a credential object will be identified on a system by a couple
    <slot,alias>
    After that, the way to address slots (I mean the syntax) depends on the classes you are using...
    Bye

  • Use of NACE after creating print program n smart form

    Wat's d purpose of NACE?I hav created my own print program n smart form according to my own requirement.If NACE is necessary 4 my smart from.How can i use NACE i mean navigation steps.
    Please help me out.Its urgent.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Santhosh.

    Hi Santhosh,
    Nace is for message control settings. Say if u want to trigger a Smartform or an Idoc or any other customized program u can do the message control settings.
    Say at the time of Sales Order creation or updation u want to trigger a Smartform, then u have to follow the following steps:
    Goto NACE
    Select application V1 and then click Output Type.
    create a new Output type or copy the existing one abd save it with new name
    then in Processing Routine Mention the driver program name and in Form routine mention the main subroutine name.
    In Smartform mention your SMartform name and also the layout if u have ceated.
    Again go to NACE and Select application V1 and press Procedures.
    here out of the many procedures u have to select the right one and attach your Output Type to it.
    You can also create a condition record..Say if u want to trigger this Smartforms for Sales Order of particular type.
    Hope this helps.
    Reward Points if useful.
    Thanks.

  • Smart way to auto update pop-up menu in nav bar?

    Smart way to keep updating pop-up menu in Nav bar ?
    I created a template in DW 8. It is used to generate many
    other pages for the site. only the page content region is editable.
    There is a nav bar in the template. Some buttons of the nav bar
    display pop-up menu when MouseOver . Those pop-up menu need to be
    changed from time to time. What is the best way to automatically
    update the pop-up menu in those templated-generated files, using
    template (I tried to define the nav bar as editable region,
    modified the pop-ups and saved the template. I got a lots of
    unexpected problems, DW8 even crashed), using libray items or
    something else? I am a relatively new DW developer. Much appreciate
    if someone could help.

    If the navigation is in a non-editable region of the
    template, then changes
    to it will propagate automatically to all child pages - are
    you not seeing
    that happen?
    > I tried to define the nav bar as editable region
    You wouldn't usually want to do that.
    > I got a lots of unexpected problems, DW8 even
    > crashed
    You must have made other errors. Doing something like this
    would surely not
    crash DW.
    The only problem with having the navigation in the
    non-editable region of
    the template is that a change to it will touch *every* file
    in the site,
    each of which must then be uploaded again. To solve this
    problem you can
    use server-side includes for the navigation. Then you would
    make your
    change to the include file, upload it, and all pages would
    reflect that
    change.

  • Online Help for Common Programs Will Not Open in Firefox

    Many of my programs, such as Ultradefrag and Audacity (to name two), present their Help guides and User Manuals using a browser. I have Firefox set as my default browser. Every time I try to use help with these programs, I get the very frustrating message "Firefox is already running, but ...". I cannot use help without killing firefox and losing all of my browsing sessions. There simply MUST be a way around this. I do not experience this major problem with Internet Explorer. I'm using Firefox 14.0.1 on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.

    Hi,
    You can try creating a a [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles new profile]. Once it has been created you can use the '''Default User''' (the current profile) profile for the regular browsing, and choose the newly created dummy profile for external programs that need it.

    You can't really believe that his brother did this
    for him...I did miss that copyright line at the beginning when
    I first looked it over, but you know, if it had been
    his brother, I'd be kinda impressed. This wasn't a
    25 line program. It actually would have required
    SOME thought. I doubt my brother woulda done that
    for me (notwithstanding the fact that I wouldn't need
    help for that program, and my brother isn't a
    programmer).I originally missed the comments at the top but when I saw the complexity of what was written then I knew that it was too advanced for a beginner and I relooked through the code and saw the comments.

  • Help with Paint program.

    Hello. I am somewhat new to Java and I was recently assigned to do a simple paint program. I have had no trouble up until my class started getting into the graphical functions of Java. I need help with my program. I am supposed to start off with a program that draws lines and changes a minimum of 5 colors. I have the line function done but my color change boxes do not work and I am able to draw inside the box that is supposed to be reserved for color buttons. Here is my code so far:
    // Lab13110.java
    // The Lab13 program assignment is open ended.
    // There is no provided student version for starting, nor are there
    // any files with solutions for the different point versions.

  • Search help in dialog program

    Hi all,
    Fora search help in dialog program.
    I HAVE TO GET SEARCH FOR A FIELD ZID ON APARTICULAR SCREEN BASED ON DATA, MODIFIED BY AND A PLANT..
    I HAVE A RECORD IN ONE MY ZTABLE.
    I HAVE TO GET THAT BY SEVERAL SEARCH PARAMETERS SAY BY DATE , MODIFIED BY,PLANT ETC.
    each user has been assigned a plant , so in search he has to get records belonging to that plant.
    so i cannot include plant in my search help, because user may type in other plant.
    so i tried two ways
    1) i created a search help in se11 including the plant field again the problem arises if the user types a different plant.
    so i want to know whether we can apassa value to plant field in search help(i.e the plant assigned to the user),
    i have this kind of thing in some standard t -code i.e especially for searching material , the plant field in search help was filled by one plant.
    this should be one of the solution
    2)I tried to write a code in pov of program code.
    this is how my code looks.
    DATA : BEGIN OF ITAB OCCURS 0.
         INCLUDE  STRUCTURE ZXXX.
    DATA : END OF ITAB.
    ITAB HAS FIELDS ID, DATE , MODIFIEDBY , PLANT.
    USER_PLANT = 'ABC'.
    SELECT * FROM ZXXX INTO TABLE ITAB WHERE PLANT = USER_PLANT.
    CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'
      EXPORTING
      DDIC_STRUCTURE         = ' '
        RETFIELD               = 'ZID'
      PVALKEY                = ' '
      DYNPPROG               = ' '
      DYNPNR                 = ' '
      DYNPROFIELD            = ' '
      STEPL                  = 0
        WINDOW_TITLE           = 'TEST'
      VALUE                  = ' '
        VALUE_ORG              = 'S'
      MULTIPLE_CHOICE        = ' '
      DISPLAY                = ' '
      CALLBACK_PROGRAM       = ' '
      CALLBACK_FORM          = ' '
      TABLES
        VALUE_TAB              = ITAB
      FIELD_TAB              =
        RETURN_TAB             = IT_RETURN4
      DYNPFLD_MAPPING        =
    EXCEPTIONS
      PARAMETER_ERROR        = 1
      NO_VALUES_FOUND        = 2
      OTHERS                 = 3
    IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
            WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
    ENDIF.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
              clear itab.
              read table it_return4 index 1.
                ZXXX-ZID = it_return4-fieldval.
    endif.
    THIS WORKS FINE , BUT HE CANNOT SEARCH BASED ON DATE AND MODIFIEDBY
    ALL i want is is get a pop up window and should be able to search based on data and modifiedby for a predifined plant.
    I hope iam clear.
    Thanks

    Hi,

  • BC4J smarter way to:   select sysdate from dual  ????

    Our architecture uses the DB server's date/time as the application's single
    place to get date / time. So our UI's / business logic needs sysdate in several
    places through screen flow and VO/Entities called by the business logic.
    I'll create a SQLView at design time to package calling select sysdate from dual.
    We're currently using Dynamic unnamed Views which are more expensive than just
    getting sysdate deserves and also are a memory leak if you don't
    call vo.remove() after you're done with the result set.
    But is there a simplier or smarter way to get sysdate from the DB than the more
    heavy weight than seems necessary step of instantiating a VO and creating a
    result set to get the String sysdate???
    Thanks,
    curt

    I cache viewObjects in the MT using some ViewObjectManager and had no
    problems till now (more then 6 months of production). Any AM that
    serve dynamic requests should have own ViewObjectManager-object.
    import oracle.jbo.*;
    import java.util.Hashtable;
    import java.util.Enumeration;
    public class ViewObjectManager {
    private ApplicationModule _appMod;
    private Hashtable _viewObjectNames;
    public ViewObjectManager(ApplicationModule am) {
    _appMod = am;
    _viewObjectNames = new Hashtable();
    public ViewObject getViewObject( String selectClause_,
    String fromClause_,
    String whereClause_ ) {
    ViewObject vo_ = null;
    String sqlStmt_ = _getSQLStmtFromClauses
    ( selectClause_, fromClause_, whereClause_ );
    String key_ = sqlStmt_;
    String voName_ = (String)_viewObjectNames.get(key_);
    boolean isNew_ = ( voName_ == null );
    if ( !isNew_ ) {
    vo_ = appMod.findViewObject(voName);
    if ( vo_ == null ) {
    viewObjectNames.remove(key);
    isNew_ = true;
    if ( isNew_ ) {
    vo_ = appMod.createViewObjectFromQueryStmt( null, sqlStmt );
    viewObjectNames.put( key, vo_.getName() );
    return vo_;
    private String getSQLStmtFromClauses( String selectClause,
    String fromClause_,
    String whereClause_ ) {
    return
    "SELECT "+selectClause_
    +" FROM "+fromClause_
    +( whereClause_ == null || whereClause_.equals("")
    ? "" : " WHERE "+whereClause_ ) ;
    Client method in this case looks like that:
    public static synchronized BigDecimal getNewId
    ( RequestOnNewId request__,
    QueryableApplicationModule am__ ) {
    String viewObjectName_ = request__.viewObjectName,
    sequenceName_ = request__.sequenceName,
    fromClause_ = request__.fromClause;
    BigDecimal new_id_ = null;
    ViewObject vo_;
    Row row_;
    Object obj_;
    vo_ = am__.getViewObjectManager()
    .getViewObject( sequenceName_+".NEXTVAL AS \"NEWID\"",
    "DUAL",
    null );
    vo_.executeQuery();
    row_ = vo_.first();
    obj_ = row_.getAttribute("NEWID");
    new_id_ = (obj_ == null) ? null : ((Number)obj_).bigDecimalValue();
    return new_id_;
    Hope this helps.

    I accidentally set up my new ipad in itunes under the name of my existing ipad and need to set it up as a new device. Help. I cannot find a way to start fresh.

    That's probably not a good idea to try to share apps since you will have to switch ID's each time you update apps and sync apps from iTunes.
    And technically - according to Apple's terms - you cannot share apps using different ID's. You can actually lock yourself out of an ID for 90 days if you switch ID's and if you associate the iPad with another ID.
    The bold type is a copy and paste from the site that I referenced below.
    When you turn on iTunes Match or Automatic Downloads, or when you download past purchases on an iOS device or computer, that device or computer becomes associated with your Apple ID. This article describes how to manage these associations.

    Hi,
    In case if you want to use in parameters statement, then we can use the suffix MATCHCODE OBJECT syntax.
    Eg.
    report abc.
    parameters : a(10) type c matchcode object ZBELNR.
    Hope this helps.

  • Need help writing host program using LabView.

    Need help writing host program using LabView.
    Hello,
    I'm designing a HID device, and I want to write a host program using National Instrument's LabView. NI doesn't have any software support for USB, so I'm trying to write a few C dll files and link them to Call Library Functions. NI has some documentation on how to do this, but it's not exactly easy reading.
    I've written a few C console programs (running Win 2K) using the PC host software example for a HID device from John Hyde's book "USB by design", and they run ok. From Hyde's example program, I've written a few functions that use a few API functions each. This makes the main program more streamlined. The functions are; GetHIDPath, OpenHID, GetHIDInfo, Writ
    eHID, ReadHIC, and CloseHID. As I mentioned, my main program runs well with these functions.
    My strategy is to make dll files from these functions and load them into LabView Call Library Functions. However, I'm having a number of subtle problems in trying to do this. The big problem I'm having now are build errors when I try to build to a dll.
    I'm writing this post for a few reasons. First, I'm wondering if there are any LabView programmers who have already written USB HID host programs, and if they could give me some advice. Or, I would be grateful if a LabView or Visual C programmer could help me work out the programming problems that I'm having with my current program. If I get this LabView program working I would be happy to share it. I'm also wondering if there might already be any USB IHD LabView that I could download.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Help with a Program I am writing!  Please!

    Hello All,
    This is my first post...I hope to find some answers to my program I am writing! A couple things first - I am 17, and have designed a comp. science class for myself to take while a senior in high school, since there was not one offered. My end of the 2nd term project is to write a program that encompasses the information I have learned about for the past two terms. I know the very basics, if that. Please help!
    My program involves the simple dice throwing program, 'Dice Thrower' by Kevin Boone. The full text/program write out can be found at:
    http://www.kevinboone.com/PF_DiceThrower-java.html
    I am hoping to add a part to this program that basically tells the program if the dice show doubles, pop up a little GUI window that says "You are a Winner! You Got Doubles!"
    I was thinking as I finished chapter 7 in my text book, that either an 'if/else' or 'switch' statement might be the right place to start.
    Could someone please write me a start to the program text that I need to add to 'Dice Thrower', or explain what I need to do to get started! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.
