How to get thumnail Image of video?

Hi. How do I create a thumbnail image of a video file. I'm using AudioVideoCaptureDevice (C#) to record videos and I also want an thumb(preview) image of the video.

Can you be so kind, I so much want to capture video like he did in that link. my problem is I get a Operation not valid due to the current state of the object exception message. I did start a question on that specifically but if you can tell now it would

I think I have to wait before I start the capture source but I don't know how. starting capture source throws the exception.
