How to link from query to executable program (38)

Hi Experts,
I develop one sq01 query and that I want link to my executable program which is created by from se38 to display the interactive report .
The basic list is coming from the query and secondary list is displaying from the program.
please explain how to link the query and program to store the values TRSTI table.

For example if I have:
ReadAllQuery myQuery = new ReadAllQuery(myClass);
myQuery.setSelectionCriteria(myExpression);
What can I do to have must validation as possible been done before executing the query?
Validation that could be done are:
- Expression reference fields that really exist in TopLink mapping
- Literal provided to expression are of compatible type
- Parameter setting set against the query are all compatible

Your could prepare the query.
query.prepareCall(session, record);
This will do all query validation and generate the SQL for the query.

How to find which Query is using program AQ10MM==========Z6============

I wanted to know how to find out which SAP query uses this program. AQ10MM==========Z6============
I tried with SQ01/02 but was unable to get it. Can you please help.

In my installation , it is usually AQZZ"usergroup"========QUERYNAME======
You could see if you have a user group 'MM' or '10MM' in SQ03 and set the user group if available.. then in SQ01, see if you have a query called Z6
Also try out this function module RSAQ_DECODE_REPORT_NAME to see if it would give you the user group and query name...

How is "linked from these webpages" determined?

I'm trying to write an automator workflow that will scrape images but it's not working.
Should be straight forward as the html has a bunch of <img tags that reference another site
now is that "on these webpages" or "linked from these webpages"
these arent hrefs which is what I'd expect the later to be but you never know how this is determined.
needless to say neither approach is working

Well in my case it would appear there's something wrong with the actual scraping since View results shows {} for the image urls returned when either linked or this page is selected.
So now i'm screwed because I have no other way to diagnose the problem ie. why the <img elements are being missed by the action.

How to print procedure in an executable program

I am having one procedure PR_PRICING_T_1723_2000 using cu02.In this some code is written and i want to print the code lines of this procedure in my executable program output.Can anyone help me in finding where this procedure get stored for example in table or is their any function module or bapi where we can directly pass procedure name and can get the desired lines of code.

Are they making the changes under a same CR? If so there is actually no way to track the changes made by individual user, unless they put some comments. In such a case, the other option is to have individual users generate a version after completing their changes (but ensuring that no other user makes a change at the same time by using editor lock and releasing the editor lock after generating a version).. Once the version is generated, u can use change management
If the changes are made under different CR, then you can use version management as suggested by Rich.

How to find the Name of Infoset either from Query Name or Program Name

I ahve got the program name from the Transaction code of the Query. I also found out the name of the Query but I could not find out the name of the "Infoset". Please help me to find out the name of the Infoset either from the Query Name or from the Program name.

Thank you for your reply. Actually. We have got transaction name of report and from that we found out the name of the Program and from that Program we have utilised the FM to find out the Query name. But we are unable to find the name of Infiset as we have to Download this Infoset from DEV and it is to be uploaded into QUALITY.
But we are not sure about the Infoset.
I could not understand your sentence "When Open it".

How to call SAP query in a program

I have created a query in SQVI its gives a result. Now i want this query to be used in my program. Is there any FM which gets the quary name and populates the result in iternal table. So that i can use that result.
I know without query you can write using the tables you can fetch the records but i just want to explore a new way to do things. If any body done such type let me know and also give some sample code or process how to achieve it.

My final option is that only. That you can do any how. But my intension is to learn something new way. How to do copy the query and where to inject the code is there any example in wiki or artical for that. I want to something new. Old way of creating a report program is possible i want to do this way. If some body could help me out.

I have generated the SAP query and i got the program but when i view the code i dont find any select statment or where storing my input data. How to identity that i did in debug mode but am not sure where it pulls the data and where it put in internal table. Can you throw some light with example code or an article.

I have created a page that has a photo gallery using Donald's tutorial to make a spry photo gallery. I have a need to link to a specific photo in that gallery from another page. I have seen the discussions on how to do this with tabbed panels etc.. but wondering how to do it in this context.

I would test the record status of the first record in the block. If this status is 'NEW', then there is no record retrieved, so that you can exit the query mode with exit_form()

XML file from PL/SQL Executable Program

Hi all,
I have to solve this issue. I registered a concurrent program based on a PL/SQL Stored Procedure which extracts data in CSV format. The output is ok and ready to be imported in an excel worksheet and this is ok.
But, I wanted to create also an rtf template to associate to this concurrent, so the output is in more readable PDF format with table and clear formatting.
The problem is the publisher doesn't recognize the CSV datas and doesn't create the pdf. Is there any PL/SQL command to translate CSV to XML output? Thanks, Michele

Michele, I have a suggestion for you. It's not the exact solution you're looking for, but it may work for you.
I use Oracle Reports to create both XML data and CSV data. The output is a single formula field within the lowest level group that displays all of the data, delimited field by field. I define two concurrent programs based on this executable -- one with output format XML and one with output format Text. That way I can associate templates with the first program, and can use the second program to produce my CSV file which is ready for import to Excel.
You can either convert your PL/SQL stored procedure to Oracle Reports, or use a temporary table to store the data that the procedure is displaying, then call the procedure in an Oracle Reports trigger and select the data in the Data Model.

My problem first appeared very simple, but I have spent a
while on it and can't think how to solve it. I must say that I am
very much an amateur in designing in Flash and ActionScript.
I created a movie clip containing an embedded video and a
sound clip. In the main timeline I inserted the movie clip into a
keyframe. When I found the movie clip didn't play, I discovered
that the only way of making it play was to place a Stop action in
the keyframe of the movie clip, and also set the whole movie to
loop. The Stop action stopped the whole movie from looping, but
instead made the movie clip loop. If the keyframe is on frame 456,
how do I make it advance onto frame 457 once the movie clip has
finished running?
I've tried various ways around the problem, including placing
a button inside the movie clip to Go to and Play frame 457, but
instead it plays frame 457 in the movie clip.
Can anyone help me with this please?

Hello,
You need to tell flash the "target" you want to play. If not
specified
it will think it is the target you are calling from which in
your case
is the movie clip.
So to go back and play one level up would be:
_parent.gotoAndPlay(457);
If the movie clip was inside another movie clip then it would
be:
_parent._parent.gotoAndPlay(457);
or you can just referent the root of the movie directly:
_root.gotoAndPlay(457);
Search the help file for timeline target and you should find
more about it.

How to - link from HTML Region to Report Column?

Ok, I'll go straight to my question. I have a file upload page with Report Region (conditional) which comes up after file uploading process. Under Report I have a column to delete uploaded file (column has an image in link, target in application, item name: P2_DELETE_ID and value: #DOC_ID#). Basically the Report picks up just uploaded file ID and allows me to delete the file by having Hiden Page Item (P2_DELETE_ID) and Before Header Process:

Document Link from Query Designer

In Query Designer when you right click on any Key Figure or Characteristics there is an option for "Documents", when you click on this it opens up BW GUI screen and shows the Meta Data Document for that Characteristics or KF. Is there a setting to show these documents in Internet explorer instead of BW GUI?

U can check the document setting in query properties where an icon will automatically display in Bex Analyzer as well as in Bex web , Once u click that link then it will automatically open in the web browser.
