How to post goods receipt without FI document number

Hi friends,
Is it possible to create a Good Receipt without creating any FI document number?
Regards,
G G Reddy

Hi Vikas,
Now i am doing Historical data migration project. for this project last 7 year data we will move to New sap systems. we will get the data from standard tables from the all module like FI/CO,MM and PS.
So in FI data i done through z program. in MM side previsiously only PO data only  in the scope.but recently they added Good movements also. so whenever the MM consultant will do the Goods receipts the fi documents will come in to piture. it is duplicate data available twice.
Because I uploaded FI data which is linked to MM integration. so now my problem is whenever the MM Consultant wii upload the Goods Receipts, there is no Fi document happen. so please provide any soluation about this.
so please give me u r inputs on this

    Hi Guys,
Intra company scenario between two plants of same company code.
    My process is as follow
    1. Created STO
    2. Created delivery doc through VL10B
    3. Did the PGI
Once I post the PGI doc material status is goods in transit, from this stage I want to create goods receipts at receiving plant.
Can any one suggest how to create goods receipts from material in transit position....

  • How to post good receipt for an inbound delivery with HU in the stock?

    Hello,
We have an inbound delivery of a purchase order with 10 Handling Units inside on.
The HU's has been put in a storage bin (by transport order + confirmation) before a good receipt has been posted for the whole delivery.
Due to this it's not possible to post good receipt for the inbound delivery, and the available stock quantity is in minus on zone: '902-GR Area External Rcpts' since  the handling units are already in a storage bin.
Can anyone help me on this matter?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    my situation is:
    - a WM managed warehouse, society A;
    - a HU managed warehouse (without WM), society B;
    - a purchasing process of HU from society A towards society B.
Society B have a scheduling agreement; when a delivery schedule appears, in society A born a sales order and a delivery. After the registration of the delivery good issue, an idoc transfer information for inbound delivery creation.
This process is ok without WM, but with a WM managed warehouse the idoc has the following problem:
"V51VP - item was not found - process cancelled".
Can you help me to transfer these HU?

  • 2LIS_02_SCL: goods receipt and invoice document number

    Hi,
the BI Content documentation for the [Purchasing Data (Schedule Line Level) (2LIS_02_SCL)|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8d/bc383fe58d5900e10000000a114084/frameset.htm] DataSource reads:
The DataSource also provides information about the documents that are posted with regard to the purchase order, such as goods receipts and invoices.
The point is: where are the documents' numbers ?
When I test the extraction, I get the expected number of records, provided that those records with ROCANCEL=X (cancellation of Data Record) are taken into account.
For example, for a Purchase Order (PO) Schedule Line that has 3 Goods Receipts (GR) and 1 Invoce (IR), I get:
    - 1 record with BWVORG=1 (SAP BW - Transaction Key) and ROCANCEL blank, for the PO document;
    - 6 records for the 3 GR documents (BWVORG=2);
    - 2 records for the 2 IR documents (BWVORG=3).
Therefore the DataSource provides the needed level of granularity. Just the field I need is missing, i.e. BELNR!  Is there any trick to get it or the only way out is enhancing the DataSource?

I think I would choose the option that takes advantage of 3 DataSources:
    - 2LIS_02_SGR, for GR number;
    - 2LIS_06_INV, for IV number;
    - 0FI_GL_4, for document amount, as well as some other informative characteristics, such as document type (useful when the document is an invoice), referred document (the field that contains the supplier's document number), document date, posting date
The Logistic DataSources would basically provide the link between GR and IV, while the General Ledger DataSource would provide the financial information.
In fact an analysis for controlling purchase expenditures at a detailed level is required. Not just a simple analysis of expenses for vendor, or even purchase document, but for any financial document posted to the General Ledger. This analysis has sort of a financial perspective. Probably it's not the kind of strategic analysis best suited to BI. It has a more tactical, operational nature. And maybe BI is not the best platform for developing this kind of application.
Anyway, if you have better ideas or any suggestion on this topic, please feel free to comment!

  • Report - open/closed goods receipt & its MIRO Document number

    Dear all,
Is there any standard report for open/closed goods receipt(Material doc. no.) & its MIRO Document number based on good receipt posting date ?
    Awaiting valuable reply.
    Jeyakanthan

    Hi,
If your requirement is only to display Open GR & Open IR with material & a/cing document, then you need to develop a report.
    Tables
EKPO - PO and line item
    EKBE - documents with values
You can create a query with the help of SQ01 / SQVI. Then you can create TCode with thehelp SE91.
Pick up values for selection parameters and display while creating query.
    Anand.

  • Post Good Receipt without serial number

    Dear Expert,
My client use serial number management for good movement. But they have requirement to set serial number as blank when they perform GR non stock (GR for PO with account assignment) while serial number still mandatory for GR stock (GR for PO without account assignment). Is there any possibility to accommodate this requirement? Is there any user exit or enhancement to post GR non stock without serial number while serial number usage in serializing procedure set as 03 (Obligatory). Please kindly help. Your response is really appreciated and helpful answer will be rewarded.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
You have the solution already, tell the users not to use the material master when procuring non-stock items.
Because later on your are going to reach a point where users want to procure non-material however they will use a material number and forget to enter a account assignment and then what is going to happen????
It will result in procurement of stock materials...
What are they procuring using material numbers as non-stock items????

  • Accounting document while doing Post Goods Receipt

    Hi,
    The scenario is like this.
    1.     Sales order1 is created.
    2.     Delivery document created; PGI (post goods issue) is done. Here the movement type is 601.
I want to get back the material (equipment) for some reason; I want to check the material for its condition. If there is any damage, I have to charge the customer.  So, the material will be received to Return stock by return sales order with reference to the first sales order1 (Movement type 651); then will be sent to Quality (Movement type 457); if it is not damaged will be sent to unrestricted stock (Movement type 321) by transaction code MB1B.
When I am doing the PGI, the accounting document is created; the Inventory account is credited and COGS (Cost of goods sold) is debited.
When I am doing PGR (Post Goods Receipt), the accounting document is not created (Movement type 651).
I have created a new u2018Schedule line categoryu2019 (YL) for the return process with the movement type 651.
I want to get an accounting document while doing PGR. The inventory account is to be debited; the COGS is to be credited.
Can I get the accounting document by changing the movement type in Schedule line category u2018YLu2019?
Please guide me in this regard.
    Regards,
    K Bharathi

    Hi
Can I get the accounting document by changing the movement type in
    Schedule line category u2018YLu2019?
Yes in your schedule line category if the movement type is not 651 then an accounting doc will be created
For movement type 651 there wont be any accounting document
In returns (651M.Type)  If a returns delivery exists, the return should be posted in the Sales (SD-SLS) component, not in the Inventory Management component.
Depending on how Customizing for Sales is configured (the movement type is configured in the step Define Schedule Line Category), the delivery is posted to the following stock:
    - Blocked stock returns (non-valuated, not unrestricted-use) (movement type 651)
    - Unrestricted-use stock (movement type 653)
    - Quality inspection stock (movement type 655)
    - Blocked stock (movement type 657)
If the given quantity is posted to blocked stock returns first, you can make a manual goods movement posting in the Inventory Management component to transfer the quantity to valuated stock.
So, when the goods arrives in so called "Block stock returns" it is not your property, it belongs to the customer (the ownership has not changed) - it is not valuated. Whiles you post the goods to your own (plant) stock by 653/655/657 it becomes your property that's why it is valuated and material document will be created

  • Post Goods Receipt Accounting Not Generating

    Hello Experts,
    I brief the processs....
Our client has trading business.  They have a material that is like a configurable material.  Based on their customer's requirement the configuration will be intimated to the vendor then vendor tells the cost so that they inform the price to the customer.  Based on the configuration the cost always varies from thousands to millions also.
We have considered the material as standard material only (not configurable) and created a separate item category group to identify this material.  Because the configuration of the material is happening outside of SAP, so we have created a generic material code.  But to capture the MAP independently we are considering the material as batch valuated material (automatic batch).  The Individual Purchase Order (third party sales) process is configured to receive the material into our plant.
Once the sales order is created the PR is getting generated in the back ground.  With reference to the PR we are generating the PO and receiving the stock with MIGO.  The stock is updating in the plant as sales order stock.  We are able to create the delivey and issue the goods.  The accounting document at goods issue is happening based on the valuation of the material (the cost at which we did the MIGO).  There is no problem in invoice creation.  Till this process everything is fine.
While doing the Returns Sales process we are facing the issue.  With reference to the sales invoice we are generating the returns sales order then returns delivery and in the returns delivery the batch and valuation type are automatically coming.  But the issue is while doing the Post Goods Receipt the Accounting Document is not getting generated.  The value with which the accounting happened at Goods Issue (sales process) with the same value the accounting should happen in reverese postings at Goods Receipt.  We do not have quality check, so we are using 653 movement type in the case of returns to directly take the stock into unrestricted use.  We also checked the MAP at the time of Post Goods Receipt by giving the batch number but it is showing Zero in material master.  No single PGR of this material is generating the accounting.
Please guide me where to correct the settings.
    Thanks,
    Sreehari.

    Hello BS Reddy,
    Thanks for your reply.
I have maintained the Requirements Type as KEB (Req.Class also KEB) and it has the account assignment group-M and Special Stock indicator-E.
I have run the returns cycle again but still accounting is not gettting generated at PGR.  Below is the screenshot of Req.Class-KEB
Below is the screen shot of T.Code MBBS (Valuated Sales Order Stock).  I think the value should be upated here.
Please let me know know where to correct the settings.
    Thanks,

  • How can I disable POST GOODS RECEIPT button in transactions VL31N/VL32N via Authorization or Role Level.

How can I disable POST GOODS RECEIPT button in transactions VL31N/VL32N via Authorization or Role Level, There is a requirement from my client  and i propose two methode
1- Creation of Ztcode ZVL32N and do changes ABAP program level
2- Disablement via Authorization/Role level - but how can i find the auth object/ Authorization corresponds to POST GOODS RECEIPT button in VL32N

I think you can make use of SHD0 - Transaction variant to achieve this. You can make it as grayed out while recording steps in SHD0.

  • Material Document (Post goods receipt) for each Tranfer order in Inbound De

    Hello All,
We have following the below process for goods receipt.
    1. Create Purchase order.
    2. Create Inbound Delivery.
3.Create Transfer order for each line item in  Inbound Delivery
    4. Confirm tranfers orders.
    5. Post goods receipt will automatically takes place after last Transfer order confirmation for that delivery.
So, in the above scenario the Inventory is not available in the IM till last transfer order is confirmed.
So, is it  possible to create a Material Document at each transfer order confirmation and post IM inventory , instead of waiting till last transfer order is confirmed.
    please advice.
    Thank you
    T Reddy .

    Hello Aktar,
Yes With standard SAP we can post  goods receipt either before using MIGO and after using VL32N.
In our scenario we are using Inbound Delivery.
So , with using Inbound delivery we are posting goods receipt after  last TO confirmation.
But In our client they may take 2 days to puyawat all the items of an Inbound Delivery. So they do not want to wait till 2 days for the IM posting.
ie in SAP WM as soon as Inbound delivery is created it creates negative stock in 902 and once all the transfer order are confirmed and then post goods receipt takes place and 902 is cleared.
So, we are slitting the TO at delivery line item level and creating separate TO for each line item in a delivery.
So, I am wondering whether is there a way so as soon as first TO is confirmed WM stock updates and IM stock also should also update with same amount with a material docuement.
ie TO by TO IM posting should take place and at Last TO post goods receipt should happen at delivery level.
    Please advice.
    Thank you
    T Reddy.

    Hi ,
How can I disable POST GOODS RECEIPT button in VL31N/VL32N .
Its because, we wanted to use VL06I  to do PGR insted of VL32N.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
if you have a look at program SAPMV50A then you can see that routine cua_exclude_dynamic is used to disable buttons dynamically. If you are on ECC6.0 then you can use implicit enhancement point to exclude code WABU_T which corresponds to "Post Goods Receipt". You can simply add the following lines at the end of this routine using implicit enhancement point.
    IF sy-tcode EQ 'VL31N' OR sy-tcode EQ 'VL32N'.
      PERFORM cua_fcode_allow USING 'WABU_T' no.
    ENDIF.

  • Post Goods Receipt before putaway

    Hi Experts,
We're planning to implement SAP WM of SAP ECC 6.0. We're using inbound delivery for our goods receiving into the warehouse.  The process steps  that I found out from the SAP document is as follows:
    1.  Create inbound delivery
    2.  Pack if necessary
    3.  Putaway
    4.  Confirm Putaway
    5.  Post Goods Receipt
We've business requirement to do the Post Goods Receipt before putaway.
I do not find the configuration for this requirement.
Could some-one help me on this?  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Please send me the documents how to configure this.

    Hi Philip,
Thank you for your response.  I have found-out the same option as you mentioned from the 4.6c release notes.  I tried and it's still not working.  Don't know the cause for not working.  Any thought on this?  Please let me know.
    Thank you again,
