How to retrieve data from plsql table in BI publisher Data template

Hi All,
I have created a data template for XML publisher report. In data template i m getting data from plsql table. for that i have created one package with pipelined function. I am able to run that sql from sql developer .But if i run the concurrent program then i got error like "java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00904: "XXXXX": invalid identifier".
I have used the same parameters in Data template and concurrent program....
please clarify me what needs to be done....

i am using pipelined function and get the data from cursor and load it into plsql table (nested table). and i use the below in my data template to fetch the data:

if you want to get records based on search criteria( ex: taxonomy values where ProductName = "something "),, follow the below steps;
1 . build Search Object- ( I guess you know this step)

Delete data from Q table of the master data

Hi ,
I had incorrect data loaded into the master data table of a particular object.
Upon repairing info object, the incorrect data got deleted from all the tables of the object except from the Q table.
After running repair multiple times also, these records in Q table are not getting deleted.
HOw can i delete these records from the Q table of the object ?

Are you able to identify the records in RSD1 --> Maintain? You should be able to delete them from there.

Datasource / tables in the source system
Go to RSA2 (DS Repository) in your source system and display your source system.
If Extraction Method is 'V' - you are lucky and you see table name where data is taken from.
If it is F* - function module is used, and you have to go thru its code to see all the tables it uses and logic how data is
processed.

Since you have the extract structure and the extractor, you must have some transaction like the Extractor Checker RSA3. If so
then execute ST05, switch on the trace and execute the extractor checker. Once the extractor checker presents the results
switch off trace. The clcik on Display trace and you will see all the tables that were hit by the extractor checker to
retrieve data and present it to you.

I have to create a sapscript where in I should get data from standard tables and display the data in box (table format) in sapscript. I know how to get a field (perform in zprogram) into sapscript form zprogram. I dont know how I can get data (internal table) from my zprogram into sapscript and display in a box.

Using FDM Import Action script to import data from ERPI table "tdataseg_t"

Hi Experts
I have extracted data from EBS using ERPI and loaded into the intermediate table "tdataseg_t"
I am trying to use Import Action script within FDM to extract data from "tdataseg_t" table (where ERPI extract data is stored) as i could not use the normal import script.
Requirement : I have to restrict the custom 2 dimension based on Account dimension.
Dim Account
Account = ???? ( i am struck here)
If Account = 1000 to 5000 Then
Custom2 = Right( product , 5)
End If
but , I could not find the exact syntax to call the Account dimension from the "tdataseg_t" table.

Hello,
Importing data via a manual script defeats the purpose of ERPi. As it will not provide you an audit trail, drill-through/drill-back, etc.
Your best bet is to use the default settings by the software. Just because it returns more records than you want is not a bad thing. You can conditionally change/alter the information either in an EventScript inside of FDM or by mapping the un-needed information to IGNORE.

I want to retrieve all the data from one of my MS Access data table and display them all in a text area. how do i go among doing this?
In my car table i have the fields lined up like this..
license,color,doors and year_made
I have an Object class called CAR that will contain methods to set the data from these fields when it gets retrieved.

How to copy data from one table to another (in other database)

Hi. I would like to copy all rows from one table to another (and not use BC4J). Tables can be in various databases. I have already 2 connections and I am able to browse source table using
ResultSet rset = stmt.executeQuery("select ...");
But I would not like to create special insert statement for every row . There will be problems with date formats etc and it will be slow. Can I use retrieved ResultSet somehow ? Maybe with method insertRow, but how, if ResultSet is based on select statement and want to insert into target table? Please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

No tools please, it must be common solution. We suceeded in converting our BC4J aplication to PostgreSQL, the MSSQL will be next. So we want to write simple aplication, which could transfer data from our tables between these 3 servers.

Retrieve data from the table T2550

I have 3 records in the table T2550. The values are as below.
MANDT WWSAL              BEZEK

If I want to see the first record in the table, if I enter 1 and execute to see it, it is not accepting. It is accepting only when I enter 001 and execute. I thought of using conversion exit for adding leading zeros. But the field WWSAL is having 18 characters. (if we use conversion exit, it will add the leading zeros to the total length, so now the lengthe will become 18 characters hence no results). But in the table it is having only 3 characters length.
Can any one help me, how can I retrieve the data from T2550 table.

I didn't found this table in R3X or E6Ssystems.You should specify in which you found this standard table?Then only i can give solution.Even i found a table T255, its structure is different from table you mentioned.

CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE TXNDATA AS OBJECT
TRAN_ID            NUMBER             ,
EVENT_ID                   NUMBER             ,
EVENT_CD                   VARCHAR2(10 BYTE))and create a procedure which has a IN parameter as TXNDATA
now i need to retrieve the column data's through SELECT clause such as
TYPE Proc_txn IS TABLE OF TXNJOURNALDATA;
EVENT_JOURNAL_SEQ Proc_txn;
select * from table(cast(EVENT_JOURNAL_SEQ));but above SQL will give all column data's but i need to retrieve only 2 column values such as
select EVENT_ID , EVENT_CD from table(cast(EVENT_JOURNAL_SEQ))how can i achieve the above result set?

use a table alias in your query
