Hi,
we are using Crystal Reports 10 to design crystal reports. The web development environment is Visual Studio 2005. When I run the website that has the crystal reports on my localhost I am not getting any errors. I am using Non-Embedded Crystal reports. However when I deploy the website on the server I am getting "cannot load file or assembly ....". I am thinking this is because of the version issues. When I looked at the version of dlls that are used in the development enviroment they are 10.2.3600. I am not able to find these dlls on the server. I cannot even copy them from the development machine since they are in Global Assembly Cache. The dlls with version 10.2.3600 might have come from the visual studio 2005 installation. But how I can get these dlls on the server so that the crystal reports work fine. Please let me know.

Try to rename the cert8.db file in the Firefox profile folder to cert8.db.old or delete the cert8.db file to remove intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored.
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert8.db.old file.
Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the cert8.db.old file to cert8.db to restore the previous intermediate certificates.
Firefox will automatically store intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send such a certificate.
If that didn't help then remove or rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) as well.

I assume that you have iBooks or GoodReader or Adobe Reader - some app that will open PDF files so my suggestion would be to start with the basic things, restart your iPad, reset it or quit Safari and restart.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
In order to close/quit apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off.
To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
The lock to the right side of the tab indicates that the website is secure - or at least that is what it looks like in Safai on my iPad. Sites with the https in the address have the lock icon in the tab, non secure sites - web pages without the https - do not have the lock icon. I'm not sure if that has any bearing on it - none of the PDF files that I have opened in Safari have the lock icon.
But if you can open the file - it doesn't make sense that it would be locked??? Try the basic suff and see if any of that helps.

when im browsing in safari for almost 1hour or more, it suddenly stop and not responding , and it states there that the safari browser cannot display the site. Is theres any problem with my OS? do you know why it happens to my iphone4s.

Firefox is asking me to add an exception for security for a website that has told me its certificate is valid.

I am running Firefox 31.0 on a Windows 8.1 o/s. When I attempt to access my email provider in its' "secure" mode, I am advised that the connection is untrustworthy. (Parenthetically, this does not occur on my other two systems running respectively, Windows 7 and Windows XP.) I am asked to provide an authorization for an 'exception' prior to completing the connection. The option of making the exception permanent is NOT available, so I go through this every time I begin a new internet session. I have contacted the email provider and been advised that their digital certificate is valid. So, as I see it there are three problems: (1) if the certificate is valid, as is suggested by the provider, why does Firefox not recognize this, (2) why does the exception window not allow me the option to make the exception status enduring, and (3) why is this problem present only on my Windows 8.1 system?

If you are trying to learn C, I just told that you have made a great dicision, as C is the strongest, most common programming language, which is the basis for many modern programming languages used today, such as C#, Java, Objective-C, C++ and more.
My over 20 years experience in programming, says that the best way to learn a programming language, is reading books. For you to get started, I recommend a book which is designed with a new coming student in mind. These books are written as a text book and have serveral simple exercises to solve. There are many books like this on the market. The first book I have read on C programming, was Teach Yourself C, from Herbert Schildt. I am sure there are many good, and may be better ones out there, but you should know that Schildt is the author of best selling programming titles in the world.
I am also an author and trainer, currently working on a web site to be an academic place for those interested in the C family of programming languages, specially C++, Objective-C and the C itself. You may now that Objective-C is the programming language of choice of Apple. But programming in Objective-C requires a good understanding of C and object-oriented programming concepts. In other words, programming for Apple devices and writing good quality code, is not possible without being a good C prgrammer in the first place. I am trying to bring my 2 decades experince to the web for those people like you.
Anyway, I am here and will be happy to answer your questions if I am able to do this. I hope this helps.
