I have an iphone 5 and I can not get it to power down or get to the recovery screen on itunes

All it does is show a blue screen I did the hard reset nothing
I can not put my password in and sir is not available??

Try putting your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. To do that, take a look a the article below to walk you through getting that setup. If you have a back up in iTunes or iCloud, you can put that back on after the restore is complete.
