I have Norton Internet Security, but that doesn't seem to have stopped it. And it's goofy. It won't let me lock it by clicking its lock. The lock keeps magically coming unlocked.
Also, my computer crashes more than once a week on average.
Those two facts are related.
Norton Antivirus has a very long and illustrious reputation for mangling Mac OS X systems, sometimes to the point where a complete reinstall is necessary. Among other things, it installs kernel extensions which are known to cause kernel panics and system freezes; it contains known and documented bugs which can silently corrupt Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign files, destroy a user's ability to authenticate as an administrator, and (on PPC systems) can cause Classic to stop functioning; and Symantec has on at least two occasions now released flawed .dat file updates which erroneously report certain critical Mac OS X files as "viruses." (Deleting these "viruses" causes damage to the system that in some cases renders it unbootable.)

IMovie works in Test account but not in main user account

I have been having issues with iMovie such as lag time and trailers not playing back properly in preview mode. I created a new user account to see if it was isolated to my own user and sure enough the problems went away and iMovie is working smoothly.
So what could be causing the issue on my user account? I tried to usual suspects: repair permissions, delete preferences, etc., but nothing helped.
Any ideas?

We have two users on 1 computer tools, history, etc show up on one user screen but not the other how do i fix this

We have one computer in our home and two user accounts, his and hers. On my account at the top of the page I have file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools and help.
On the other account it will not show any of those topics. Its very discouraging first its there and than it dissappears so that we cannot find our bookmarks.
How do i remedy this so the same is on both user accounts.

You can continue to use them as Apple ID's, change the rescue address (as you know)
You can use your iCloud address, but it won't be an alias, it's a full email address.

You can currently only buy the current version Aperture 3.4.3 at the AppStore, and that version requires MacOS X 10.7.5. at least, see the release notes: Aperture 3.4.3
So you will not be able to install this version on your Snow leopard machine. Maybe you can buy a boxed retail version of an earlier release, compatible with Snow Leopard, but the newer version is faster and compatible with iCloud.
Do your iMacs both have the same processors and memory? You will wan to use your fastest mac with the best graphics card and the most RAM to run Aperture, also a large screen would be desirable.

I'm having a similar problem, but I do have the key and is not working anyway.
My old pc was running on windows 7 and my new one is an apple running on Lion.
My phone is an Iphone IV and I can see all the bookmarks there.
In order to sync, what I did was click on the "I don't have the device with me", I entered the key that was provided and the process finish ok. It says congratulations, etc, etc.
But the bookmarks are not there, I tried merging data and replacing data on this computer options but is the same.

You will need to do what it says, contact iTunes support. Click the Support tab above, then the Get Started link in the Contact Apple Support area and you'll be guided. We are all just fellow users here and so have no idea about the cause of the issue nor any ability to resolve it for you.

Maybe the parental control is activated for the guest account? Have a look in System Preferences -> Parental Control.
