In motion2 when I export quicktime the text comes out blurred

I recently upgraded fcp 4.5 to 5 and DVD studio Pro 3 to 4 and I have Motion 2.
When I created an motion menu in Motion the text looks crisp but when I export it to either fcp or dvd studio pro the text becomes distorted. Is there something in the setting I forgot when I export. Can anyone advise.

Don't export it as a DV QuickTime movie.
If you want to take it into FCP, you can take the native project file.
If you want to take the finished Motion project into DVDSP, export out of Motion 2 using Compressor and use the DVD MPEG2 presets.
I use the DVD Best 120 Minutes preset and it works great.
There's no point in exporting it out as DV only to reencode it into MPEG2, which is required for DVD.
But if you ever have to export out of Motion 2 to bring into something that can't take the native project file, I export out using the Animation codec, not DV. Animation is lossless and it will give you a very clean movie to bring into something else.

I am using CS4 ME. When I place English text from Word into InDesign, the English text comes out okay but the numbers in the text come out in Arabic. How can I fix this?

1. In the Word document the digits are numerals.
2. In InDesign paragraph styles when I select the number style to be 1,2,3, the digits come out in Arabic even though the language for the document is English.
It seems that the only way for me to get 1,2,3 digits is to actually select Arabic digits in the menus. Only that way InDesign gives me 1,2,3 digits. Strange.

I am using CS4 ME. When I place English text from Word into InDesign, the English text comes out okay but the digits in the text come out in Arabic. In the character menu, the setting for the digits is "default". When I set the digits to be in Arabic, they come out in English (1,2,3 and so on). How can I make it right so that the default will be 1,2,3..... and when the setting is Arabic in the file it will be Arabic?

Digits respect language settings, so if the paragraph is marked as English, you'll get correct digits for English. Farsi, you'll get correct digits for Farsi. Set the digits for "Default" to get this behavior.
However, note that the proper name of digits used by writers of English and European is Arabic digits, and the proper name of digits used by writers of Arabic is Hindi digits. This is because Europe got all of its upper maths from the Arabic world (when they had a flourishing civilization and Europe was hella barbaric). If you look at it, algebra is obviously an Arabic word (al-gebr).
So if you mark digits as "Arabic" then they will be 1,2,3 even if it's Arabic text marked as Arabic in the paragraph style. Trust InDesign's default language settings here.

When I create (print PDF) the text comes out in a different font to what I used on the MS Word document I PDF'd? My text in the word document was font "Academy" but when I made this a PDF the text is in another standard style font? How can I keep the Academy font in the PDF? Thanks.

Did you embed it (check the fonts under the document properties to see if embedded) or are you looking at it on another machine? What versions of WORD and Acrobat, as well as OS?

Also, if I remember correctly, Final Cut Pro HD was version 4.5. Is this what you are running?

As expected, cdm-git also works fine since DMs only work in the root mode as of now.
Just for the record, both type commands output "/usr/bin/startx" and pacman -Q gives "systemd 215-4".

This is iMessages, not an SMS/MMS, and this means the same Apple ID is registered for iMessage on each iPhone.
You or your daughter need to activate your own Apple ID for iMessage and FaceTime. The same Apple ID can continue to be shared for iTunes store downloads - for music and apps.
On the iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Select the Apple ID at the top and sign out. Sign in with the new Apple ID.
Make sure the same email address is not available below You can be reached by iMessage at on each iPhone.

You can name it something other than index, but will be harder to find. when you create the subjects and link to them, they can can be named anything with the html extension Or if your using PHP end in .php. There is a Microsoft type asp or aspx but your hosting service has to set up using windows server system.
My hosting service use a Linux server normally but can convert Windows for a Fee. UNIX Linux has no concept of asp or aspx.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

The Placeholder Text Comes Out in Arabic

When I apply placeholder text it comes out in Arabic. How can I make it so the placeholder text comes out in latin letters?

Press Ctrl before you click on the placeholder text, and you will be
able to choose whichever language you want.
But I think essentially the placeholder text follows the currently
selected language, so if you set the text to English USA or something, I
believe you should get appropraite placeholder text.
