Hi All,
I am using apach myfaces version 1.1.5 and tomahawk version 1.1.5 in my project with tomcat 6.
On one of my jsp page i am having a text box with value like D:\myfolder\subfolder\ .
When this page is rendering i am getting following warning at console
WARN [http-8080-2] 10-07 16:26:46 Invalid tag found: unexpected input while looking for attr name or '/>' at line 212 (ReducedHTMLParser.java:566)Is there any way i can get rid of this problem?

I have just downloaded myfaces blank war file with myfaces-api-1.1.6.jar , myfaces-impl-1.1.6.jar and tomahawk-1.1.7-SNAPSHOT.jar for testing purpose and then in helloword.jsp i write the code like followings:

IPhone 4s will not wi-fi synch. Keeps "Looking for (my name's) iMac.

Currently have an iPhone 4S which will not wi-fi synch to iTunes on my iMac.
My situation is as follows:
- iMac running OS 10.7.2 connected to a Time Capsule
- iTunes 10.5
- I have enabled/applied wi-fi synch in iTunes
- The iphone will synch via USB
- When I disconnect the iPhone from the computer and connect it to a power source, the device disappears from iTunes
- When I select "Synch Now" on my iPhone, I get the spinning wheel as my iPhone is "Looking for (My Name's) iMac". The device never shows up in iTunes. This occurs for several seconds and then stops.
- End result, is that my iPhone never wi-fi synchs.
What am I missing? Any help would be much appreciated.

Came home from work, woke computer from sleep and started iTune. iPhone "Sync Now" button went from grey to black. When I pressed the "Sync Now" button, the same symptoms as I described above occurred.
I then tried to sync by going to iTunes>File>Sync (my name's) iPhone. iTunes found my phone, my phone showed up under "Devices" and the wi-fi sync was successful.
Everything appeared to be working, so I turned off iTunes and allowed my computer to go to sleep.
After a period of time, I woke my computer from sleep and restarted iTunes to see if wi-fi synch still worked. NOPE, not at first. The "Sync Now" button immediately went from grey to black as before, but, my iPhone was no longer listed under "Devices" and my iPhone would not sync when the "Sync Now" button was pressed. However, after iTunes was open about a minute or so, my iPhone showed up and wi-fi sync worked again.
Sooooooooo......basically wi-fi sync appears to be a waste of time. I fail to see the functionality of it unless you never allow your computer to sleep and you keep iTunes running all the time. It just takes way too long for iTunes to finally find my phone after waking my computer from sleep and starting iTunes. It was much faster by hooking up the old way! All this just to perform a manual sync!
Auto syncing is a not even an option if you allow your computer to sleep and iTunes is off.
Is this how it is supposed to work? Anyone else? Am I wrong?

IPhone Wi-Fi sync stuck at "Looking for [computer name]"...

For the longest time my iPhone 6 has not been able to sync with iTunes wirelessly, despite the fact that the phone clearly knows if iTunes is running or not. I'm running iOS 8.1 on my iPhone and iTunes 12.0.1 on OSX Yosemite 10.10.
I have confirmed that the phone does know when iTunes is running on my Mac. When iTunes is running and I go to Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync on my phone, the "Sync Now" button is enabled, but when iTunes is not running the button is disabled out with a message saying "Sync will resume when "[computer name]" is available."
When iTunes is running and I tap "Sync Now" from my phone, the button changes to "Cancel Sync", and a message below says "Looking for [computer name]...". That lasts for about a minute, and then the screen reverts back to its previous state (with the "Sync Now" button). The actual syncing never occurs.
I've checked the firewall settings on my Mac to make sure iTunes is set to allow incoming connections, and it looks like everything's configured properly.
Has anyone run into this issue before? I'd greatly appreciate any help!

Well, it happens often and, as to me, I don't think it's an issue of Apple, OS or whatever else, rather than a Wi-Fi nowadays technology itself: let's be hones — even though it is popular it is not that good. But, getting back to your question — my solution (the one which works for me) is easy and quite — no hassle with password, nothing...
All you need is to renew lease of your device over the wi-fi network. Go to the Wi-Fi settings, click the blue arrow to get to the settings of the current network and click the renew lease button; launch iTunes — it's there your iDevice.
Personally, I've got two of them — and from time to time I'm renewing the lease — that solves mentioned issue.

Mac Pro App crashes while looking for server that no longer exists

PROBLEM:
Motion crashes every time I try to launch. Before it crashes, a window appears with the message: "Looking for "G4MDD"--which is my old G4 machine.
BACKGROUND:
I kept my old G4MDD networked to my MacPro Intel machine for a while during my hardware migration due to Motion app instabilities I was experiencing.
Finally, with Motion v2.1.2, I was able to run Motion on my MacPro reliably.
I disconnected G4MDD from the network, deploying it to another building, dedicated to other non-FCP purposes.
I have not been able to launch Motion 2 on the MacPro since. It goes out looking for G4MDD, then crashes every time.
REMEDIES I'VE TRIED:
Everything Apple suggests on the Motion troubleshooting page, including re-install of the app following all instructions meticulously.
QUESTIONS TO GROUP:
1) Is there some server-related preference file I can try trashing?
2) Any other suggestions?

The location should be /Users/your name/Pictures. You can change this by holding down the option or alt key (the ones immediately to the left or right of the cmd keys either side of the spacebar) whilst clicking on the iPhoto application icon in your dock and making an informed choice from the options you see.
By default iPhoto creates an iPhoto Library (the folder where all your data in iPhoto is stored) in the /Users/your name/Pictures folder. It seems that in the past you must have selected an externally or network attached volume named TOSHIBA as the location for the iPhoto Library instead using the instructions I've given you. All you have to do is revert it back to the location you now want.

Need urgent help to "error 5". Found a solution, but looking for a savior.

I'm really a fish out of water here. But I'm in great need of some help. But I really don't know if this is he place to get it (maybe you can point me in the right direction?).
Case:
I have a very important InDesign-file (CS5) that's been toasted. I'm getting the notorious (and rare) "error 5"-message. The file can't open no matter what I do. I've figured out that this error could be because I've been copy pasting big images into the ID-document instead of using Place (silly me). I didn't make a backup (stupid me).
I've heard that Markzware have made an extension program for Quark Express 8 (which i have just downloaded in trial) called ID2Q that makes Quark open ID-files. Even files that have the error 5. My problem is now this: There's no trial version availible of ID2Q and since I'm a student with empty pockets I can't afford to by the software for the aprox. 200$.
Therefor I'm looking for someone that might have the software lying around and would be willing to get my file (I've put it up on a ftp-server) change it into a quark-file and return to me. I should then be able to open it in ID and save it again as .indd - at least that's what i read around the web is my ONLY solution.
Looong post, I know. Sorry. Do ANY of you where to get this kind of help?

Settings is the rightmost tab at the top.
Settings > General is the first choice under it.
Settings > General > Language should hopefully be the 11th item down, and there you should find English.

Looking for a name with special character

Hi Gurus,
In our HR system we use multiple language (eg: polish, french, german, english, finns, ...). All those languages have some specific characters, like german with ß.
When we use the search help to looking for someone, it seems that only people who have the special character on their keyboard can find directly the correct name.
For example :
If I use a german keyboard I can found an employe by completed the correct last name wich contain eg ß .
if I don t use a german keyboard I have to put a * where the specific characters is.
I would like to know if somehow it were possible to customize the system in order to do not need to enter a * but the correspondant singular letter. Is there any function for converting a special character to a singular one to activated ?

indexOf() is used to find where a character or substring appears in a
given string. What you probably need is charAt() which finds out which
character is at a given position. Like this:private JTextField reportNameText;

Changing Sort Order in Smart Album when Looking for Roll Name=Corruption

We've confirmed via testing and from new posters that changing the sort order in a Smart Album who's criteria is to look for a roll name will cause iPhoto to crash and then crash upon launch after that.
So to avoid corrupting your library do not change the sort order of a Smart Album designed to locate rolls.

Ha! I upgraded to iPhoto 6.0.3 and opened the dummy library I had created. (This was the library where the crash on launch kept happening because I had a smart folder looking for rolls and sorted by title or something else other than the default.)
Guess what, it opened just fine! 6.0.3 fixes the crash. Not sure how much it helps people who started new libraries, but at least others won't run into this.

Looking for Approver Name

The workflow that I'm working on (journal entry approval) was customized to use three roles, with the people (always more than one) who are associated with the role getting dynamically added based on the journal entry category.
I'm having trouble getting an approver name out of the database. Bear in mind that not only am I new to workflow, I'm also new to eBiz finance... my normal gig is coding PL/SQL on the HR side.
I've discovered that if I look at GL.GL_JE_HEADERS, GL.GL_JE_BATCHES, and GL.GL_JE_LINES that I can find most of the pertinent information about a journal entry including whether or not it has been approved (GL_JE_BATCHES.APPROVAL_STATUS_CODE). However, I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything that will tell me who approved it.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I've spent a lot of time in the GL TRM looking for something along the lines of an approver field but I'm coming up empty.

Just to close this one out... I don't know if it's the best method, but I'm getting the approver name in the step that immediately follows the notification by using fnd_global.employee_id.

Labview 2010 crashes XP while looking for webserver

Hi,
I am using a Windows 7 laptop with LV 2010 to compile my 32-bit executable. I've copied it to my target Windows XP, SP3 computer and after running it for a short while it rebooted the computer automatically (I believe the reboot was caused by a BSOD).
I've gone into the Windows Event Viewer and there is an event that says "Labview information: Error: 404 "Not Found" for "national instruments/ni-rpc/interface/eadfc80d-1e6f-425b-8986-12ccef98f646/ncalrpc", file "c:/program files/national instruments/shared/ni webserver/www/national instruments/ni-rpc/interface/eadfc80d-1e6f-425b-8986-12ccef98f646/ncalrpc": Can't access URL ."

Neither my Win 7 development laptop or my target Win XP system have this www folder.

Yes, the time stamp of this error coincides with the crash. I guess I assumed that it caused the crash because I see about 20-25 instances of it in the Event Viewer. Immediately before these errors appear there are two instances of the NI Configuration Manager with the Description saying "Opening configuration database".
This only happened on time and I have not been able to reproduce it again.
I'll need to explain to my customer why this Error has appeared so many times in the Event Viewer, and also how I can get it to not happen again. Do you have any suggestions? Once I isolate this error and prevent it from happening again then I can monitor the computer for future crashes.

GetFirstFile and GetNextFile while looking for folders

In LabWindows 7.0 "C" I am using a wild card construct to search for folders in a folder called "PAT_DISKS" as shown below:
strcpy(work,"c:\\DEVELOPMENT\\PAT_DISKS\\????MS??_DSK_PAT");
is = GetFirstFile (work, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, name);
is=GetNextFile (name);
there are at least three folders matching the criteria in "PAT_DISKS" but "GetNextFile" does not find them.
Is this a bug in LabWindows CVI 7.0 ?

Well, I do not have CVI 7.0, but I have 6.0.
I created the exact directory structure in my PC, did the same function call and it was successful for both GetFirstFile and GetNextFile.
Attached are the screenshots.
Did you try bu setting the normal attribute to 1?
