Multiple Purchased Item folders in ITunes?

I'm using Itunes on a windows based machine and becuase I have had 3 different Iphones over the years, always used Itunes and always used the same account, whatever i purchased on those phones has appeared in 3 different folders, all called 'Purchased on Iphone'.
Is there anyway of deleting these folders and moving the content to either music or videos or whatever they are and then deleting the folders?

The contents should already be in the Music or Video in iTunes. The Purchased folders you are seeing on the left are just playlists, which refer to the songs or videos in the Music section.
Try searching for the songs or videos when in the Library section, they should come up there. Then you can right click on the "Purchased on iPhone" playlist on the left and select delete.

After you have finished, you can re download your iTunes purchases without having to re purchase.

Plug in your iPhone to iTunes on your Computer, let it sync the games onto the Computer, then plug in your iPad and go to Apps in iTunes and select the apps then apply and it will download them to the iPad :)
If you have trouble when in Apps in iTunes on your Computer, it will say iPhone and iPod touch Apps. Hope this helps!!

You could try to go to the Appstore on your iPhone, go to 'Updates', select 'Purchased'. IOS 5.0x is required.
This should show all your purchases and allows you to download them. Swipe on a program to delete it from the list if you don't want it listed anymore.

I purchased a music album (Hey Rosetta! - Second Sight) on my iPhone 5 a couple of days ago. It didn't show up in my iTunes, so I plugged in & synced my iPhone with iTunes. The album then transferred to my iTunes and for some reason is no longer on my iPhone. I have tried syncing and selected the album to be on my iPhone 5 four times over the last couple of days. Each attempt has been unsuccessful , despite ample free space (over a gb). If I click on my iTunes store on my iPhone, it shows the album purchased, but I cannot download it. If I check under my playlists on my iPhone, and click on purchased items, the album does not show. Yet, I purchased it a few days ago on my iPhone. It's very frustrating! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do a reset hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

They should be on the computer. Just sync them as you did the last ipod.
If you failed to put them on the computer then redownload them using the instruction in the article your reference above.
