You could have a hardware issue, but try this and see if it helps.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
My brand new iPad has flickering lines across the centre of the screen. It has just been taken out of it's box! Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas or simply take back to store?

You can try to reset your iPad:
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button (also known as power button) simultaneously.
Continue holding both buttons until the iPad shuts down and begins to restart, this might take up to 20 seconds.
You may stop holding the buttons when you see the Apple logo.
You completed the reset successful, you can now try if your iPad works again.
If it won't work, it means you have a hardware problem. If you have warranty, you can repair it for free, visit your local Apple Store or Premium Reseller to let them repair your phone. -

My iPad has red bleeding through the screen. The background is solid red behind everything on the page. What causes this?
Is there a fix for this?On a different thread, someone suggested dropping the iPad on its back onto a carpeted floor. I did this from about two feet high with no effect. Then tried from about 3.5 feet high, and VOILA the red disappeared! Many others reported same miraculous fix. Hope it works for you!

You may have to restore your iPad using Recovery mode, but try a reset first. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons when you see the logo. This takes about 10-15 seconds.
IF the update will not complete or you see the connect to iTunes message on the screen, you have to restore your iPad.

When I am on an Internet site, my iPad will suddenly flash a grey screen and then go back to the home screen where I have to start Safari again and reopen my page. It does it frequently sometimes 3 times within 5 minutes. Anyone else have this trouble? It is driving me crazy!

I wish to charge my IPod but do not have my computer with me. can I charge the IPod with the plug in wall charger that I have for my IPad2?
Yes. However, the output of the iPad's wall charger may be a little less than what it would be if it were an actual iPod wall charger, so it may charge a little bit slower. I'm not 100% positive though.

How long it takes to repair an Apple iPad with the error "sim card not detected". The ipad is in Apple since 19 January and still has the status "Repair in Progress".
There is no way any fellow user here can know anything specific about your repair status. You will need to call Apple and ask them yourself.
