Dear All ,
Using brtools my tablespace PSAPTEMP always show 100% full or Used, I extend 2 Gb size in PSAPTEMP tablespace but still no solution
Please guide me why it always shows 100% used and what is the performance impact on that
Regards

Hello Shahid,
> Please guide me why it always shows 100% used and what is the performance impact on that
This is a normal behaviour in case of a temporary tablespace.
If you do sorts, hash-joins, etc. which can not be done in memory-only you allocate extents in the temporary tablespace. If you finish your query, that temporary extents will be marked as free but they still kept allocated. So over the uptime of your database your temporary tablespace will be filled by allocated (but marked as free) extents .. and so you will see it as "full". You can also check the current "real" usage of your temporary tablespace by the view V$TEMPSEG_USAGE:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/dynviews_2164.htm#i1421319
The temporary extents will be deallocated by a database shutdown or by a database start, if the database crashed before.
If you don't get any ORA-01652 by your query .. everything is fine.
Regards
Stefan

PSAPUNDO tablespace shows 100% full over a long time in oracle 11.2
Dear Experts,
In our server PSAPUNDO table space showing 100% full since three weeks and due to this space critical objects found in PSAPUNDO tablespace.
PSAPUNDO has automatic management enable.
Referred Note 1035137 but no clue found.
Kindly suggest on this.
Thanks,

Hi Bharath,
From the information above PSAPUNDO tablespace has autoextend off.
You need to change is to on for all the datafiles or add a new datafile with auto extend ON.
Hope this helps.

O.o
sorry, why?
clearly you do not know how undo works and the SAP recommendations.
Automatic UNDO management was introduced in Oracle 9i as indicated on the SAP note 600141. Oracle will try to keep the information the "retention_time" minutes.
from Oracle 10g the behaviour will change a little (explained on the note 1035137).
TRY, that is an important word, Unless you specify otherwise when create the tablespace, Oracle will reuse the data if there is no free space. (that is not the default behaviour).<= corrected here, typo
But, going to the OP question. Oracle will use all the free space on the tablespace, there is no problem with that, and, when full, will start reusing the expired segments. In case there are no expired segments then it will reuse the non expired segments. Depending on the size of the tablespace this would happen or not.
therefore, having the PSAPUNDO "full" means nothing, it is normal, expected.
the problem could be if Oracle is reusing NON expired segments.
The recommendation is, for new installations where you do not know the activity, to keep the PSAPUNDO autoextend so it grows to the "normal" size for your business the operation.
then you deactivate the AUTOEXTEND and monitor if need to use non expired undo
Please, check the Oracle documentation for more information:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25494/undo.htm#ADMIN013

My mac wireless keyboard always shows 100-percent charge when its not
How do I allow my iMac to correctly show the battery level of my Mac wireless keyboard?
It always shows 100-percent, which is wrong most of the time.
It reads and shows my Mac wireless mouse battery level correctly. It's a bug.

My iPad 3 always shows 100% battery
My iPad 3 always shows 100% battery and suddenly it gets off post complete discharge.
First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Magic Mouse battery always shows 100%
Since upgrading to Mac 10.6.7, The preference window for the magic mouse always shows 100%.
After installing MagicPrefs free drivers, (because Apples' sensitivity settings suck), MagicPrefs show
a more accurate level of 84%. What gives here Apple? Are you letting the competition beat you at
your own game? I'm getting disgusted with Apple's lack of support, fixes and updates to reported problems. From my troubleshooting, it seems it's specific to the individual mouse.
I have two Magic Mice on my desk, one for a MB Pro and one for an iMac. The "trouble" Magic Mouse, which always shows "100%" AND frequently disconnects, did so in 10.6 and 10.7. on my MB Pro.
I thought maybe the Bluetooth module on my MB Pro was bunk--so I swapped mice and took the "stable" Magic Mouse on the iMac and paired it with my MB Pro--no problems. The "trouble" Magic Mouse, formerly on the MB Pro, now on the iMac--exhibits the exact same problems--it seems to be the specific mouse, not the OS or Bluetooth modules on either host computer. Hope this helps. I guess I'll be making a trip to the Apple Store to see if they can fix/replace my "trouble" Magic Mouse... -
Lenovo K 900 --Battery charge indicator always shows 100 %
A strange issue after firmware upgrade in lenovo K 900 , When I charged to 100 % , the phone always shows 100 % charge . It is not getting updated and after using for 6-7 hrs the phone gets switched off without any notice . Now I can charge again and this time the battery charge indicator shows correctly . but again the same issue is seen if the phone is charged to 100 % .
Let it die all the way down, to recalibrate the battery, and then fully recharge. See if that helps.

OEM alert: temporary tablespace more than 100% full
Hi,
I created an event in OEM which checks tablespaces. Once in a while I'm having an alerts like:
Tablespace TEMP is 102.08% full. -339968.0 KBytes of free space remain
What to do ?Did you do the calc yourself?
Ideally a temporary tablespace will show roughly 100% full (95-105%) at all times, using standard extent calculations. Any small amount over 100% is usually the result of rounding error, or using several independent queries and catching the reuse and realloc of segments.
The only time a temporary tablespace should show nearly empty is shortly affter restarting the instance. Once it starts getting used, the temp tablespace should get blocks used by active sessions. When a session needs an empty block, it formats that block for the purpose (sort, global tempo table, hash area, etc.) Once sessions are finished with them, the blocks are reused - for performance, blocks are not cleared (reformatted to 'empty') and therefore simply show 'being used' in a typical dba_segments/dba_extents select.
The only time to worry about it is when a session (or the system) compains about being out of temp space. In which case, make it bigger ... or figger why it needs the extra space and fiux that. -
Why does my trackpad always show 100% in system preferences?
I read where someone is having the exact problem but with the keyboard instead. A widget was suggested as a work around but is it a problem with Lion or is there something else I could do to fix it. Thanks

Thanks anyway.
Do try uk-max's suggestion. Othewise, keep an eye on the battery level that does work so you don't wind up with a dead battery and can't re-pair it (because the battery is dead.....).
FWIW, Apple is aware of the issue; I sent in a bug report - I've heard of several being stuck at 57%, some at 100%. On mine, it was always the wrong percentage showing in the Bluetooth menu bar.
For anyone else: we are not discussing laptop batteries, but the battery level of the magic trackpad (or mouse, for that matter) - both are bluetooth, both have batteries, and there has been a problem showing the correct battery level for both. -

Thinkpad T420 GPU usage always shows 100% in Power Manager
Did anyonce face the same problem before?
Mine was a i7 2620M+HD3000 T420. When I open the power manager, I fount my CPU usage is around 30~40% and my GPU uasage is 100% stable... I didnt open any game when I open the power manager. Anyone know whether its ok?
BTW, when I watch film on this laptop. The CPU temperture could raise to 90 celsius...Hi there!
What you describe is not normal behaviour, something is running in the background and is using up resources.
I suppose you are running Windows 7? You can search for the process (program, driver etc) that is causing the usage if you press CTRL+ALT+DEL and select "Task Manager". On the tab "Processes" select "Show processes from all users", then click on the header "CPU" to sort them by CPU usage. See if you recognize the name of the process that is using up your CPU/GPU resources, it might be an antivirus or, conversely, a malicious program. Upload a screenshot if you can.

Magic Mouse Battery Level Always Shows %100?!?
Hi,
I'm using Mavericks and I still have this bug. I tried unpairing and pairing it again but didnt work. Any suggestions?
(Please dont suggect me to use anotuher 3rd party software...)
Thank you1. Rechargeable batteries are different: the voltage stays practically the same untill the end of the charge, then they steeply fall to "empty".
2. You may have a not too healthy battery (happens sometimes). When the magic mouse or the cordless keyboard do not work well, changing the battery for a new one often solves the problem, even if the battery inside is "full". -
OS v2.2 Battery indicator always shows full until device dies.
After I upgraded to version 2.2 of the OS on my iPhone 3G, my battery indicator is always showing 100% charge. After a full day of normal usage, the iPhone just died with a dead battery. I didn't even get the usual warning when the battery was at 20%.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? That problem has been around for a while. If you now give it a full charge, you will (most likely) have solved the problem. It sort of fixes itself most of the time simply by running the phone down all the way, then recharging all the way.
It calibrates the charge measuring circuit.
Post back if it persists. -
How to always show all breadcrumb entries?
Hi,
I have a nice breadcrumb, but I would like it to always show all entries, and then the current page entry should just be shown in bold. It this possible?
I can set the current breadcrumb bold, but can not find a way of always showing the full breadcrumb list.

Anyone having same problem? I phone 4 after updating to Vers.5.1.1. battery cannot be 100% full charge, always stop at 99% and battery drains off fast too
I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.
