    Hi,
    http://mortonor12r2:81/orchestrator2012/orchestrator.svc should be the correct address. Do you have the typo "1012" only in the question or in the connector as well?
    Can you open http://mortonor12r2:81/orchestrator2012/orchestrator.svc
    in IE ?

  • Web Service Job Parameters with Job Actions

    I have a set of web service jobs for which I am supplying input parameters. This works fine when defined against a single particular job but i have a need to insert this job based upon a job event and pull some information off of the job the had the event condition occur (i.e. Completed Abnormally). When defining the Job Action to launch the job, the default and override parameter fields are not editable. Has anyone had any luck with this? I didn't notice anything in the documentation but I could have just overlooked this. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Create web service from java code in Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5

    I am try to create web service from java code by default it is connected to Integrated web logic server and generate a
    WSDL like this.
    http://localhost:7101/javaexcel-project1-context-root/MyWebService1Soap12HttpPort.
    please tell me how we can change this local host to our needed Host and how to deploy this web service to web logic server.

    Hi,
    Just right click on your project and deploy it to your application server (Weblogic Server (Not the Integrated server)). {Before that, you have create your Application server connection in the Jdeveloper).
    After deployment open the Admin console of the weblogic server and find your ear of the project.Click on that (Go to the "Testing tab") and you will get the "WSDL" (Concreate wsdl)  and "Test Client" of the Project.

    Hi,
    I am unable to connect to
    http://hostname:81/Orchestrator2012/Orchestrator.svc/ in IE and am getting the same error while creating the connector.
    I can connect to orchestrator via http://hostname:81/ but it still gives me the same error when I create the connector (Cannot connect Service Manager with Orchestrator Web Service).
    anyone seen it before?

  • What is the use of a proxy client to test web service from ABAP code?

    In NW640, we need to create a proxy client to test our web service from a ABAP code.
    Why is this so? What is the significance of a proxy client? Is this mandatory? Can we test the webservice from a ABAP code without proxy client?

    Hi Gopal,
    There are two types of proxies that can be generated from ABAP - the client proxy (to call an internet web service) and a server proxy (to communicate with XI). It sounds to me like you are looking for information about the client proxy, if so you can see the following link from SAP Help:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/e5/a68d10f4eb894087fc9c1c3f9ae433/frameset.htm

  • Call web service using Java code

    Hi all,
    Sorry if this question sounds stupid. I am new to web services.
    I am having a web service written in oracle, using soap-api. I want to call this web service in Java application, parse the result and save it in the database.
    Can anyone please guide me on this or give me some related link. I tried searching on google, tried to implement some of the solutions I got in search results, but it was not that helpful.
    Waiting for your help. Please guide me through this.

    Hi all,
    From my java code, I tried giving
    String testStr = service.search("and formatted_address like '%Test House%'");
    This service method is defined on my SearchPortType.java file. This and the searchClient.java, as I mentioned earlier are auto generated files by myeclipse IDE. I gave WSDL URL, which generated these two files.

    Hello I have the same problem, were you able to execute the WS through the JS code now?
    I would like to call an ABAP WS using JavaScript to return complex structures that I would like to manage directly with JS.
    I tried with this code and I get the error "RaiseError: Acrobat Raise." when the request is executed:
    var WSUrl = "http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/bndg_4D15C75529330AF1E10000000A150429/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=500";
    var VendorNumber = xfa.form.DATA.DATAFLOW.SF_HEADER.VENDOR_NUMBER.rawValue;
    try {
    // Create request structure, read Input out of text field
    var request = {
              "urn:sap-com:document:sap:soap:functions:mc-style:ZWsTest" : {ILifnr: VendorNumber}
    SOAP.wireDump = true;
    // Call web service using SOAP object
    var response = SOAP.request ({
            cURL: WSUrl,
            oRequest: request
    //        cAction: "urn:sap-com:document:sap:soap:functions:mc-style"
    } catch (e) {
        xfa.host.messageBox(e.toString()); //pop-up "TypeError:service.CelsiusToFahrenheit is not a funciton"
    with this other code I get the error "SOAPError: CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT:XSLT exception.System expected element 'ILifnr'":
    try {
        var myProxy = SOAP.connect(WSUrl);
        var result = myProxy.ZWsTest( { ILifnr: VendorNumber } );
        xfa.form.DATA.DATAFLOW.SF_HEADER.E_DESCRIPTION.rawValue = result;
    // Display the response in the console:
       console.println("Result is " + result);
    } catch (e) {
        xfa.host.messageBox(e.toString()); //pop-up "TypeError:service.CelsiusToFahrenheit is not a funciton"
    in the second option, if I make the field ILifnr optional the call is succesfully performed but the parameter is not passed to the WS. So the call is working.
    Using stand-alone LiveCycle designer 8.1 and Adobe Reader 8
    Any suggestions?
    Many thanks,
    G.

  • Accessing Secured Web Services fromPL/SQL  Code.

    Hi ,
    This is an urgent requirement.We need to call a Web Sercured which is secured(That we need Authenticate using Digital Signatures).I don't how to call a Secured web service from PL/SQL code.with java it is possible.
    Can anyone help me in confoguring/Writing code to call web services with Digital Certificates.
    Regards,
    Ram

    In the XmlDigester class you would have to change the following 2 functions...
    public int Compare(Object x, Object y)
    XmlAttribute lhs = (XmlAttribute)x;
    XmlAttribute rhs = (XmlAttribute)y;
    string ls = lhs.NamespaceURI;
    string rs = rhs.NamespaceURI;
    if ((ls == rs) || (ls.Equals(rs) && ls != null && rs != null))
    ls = lhs.LocalName;
    rs = rhs.LocalName;
    if (ls == null)
    return -1;
    if (rs == null)
    return 1;
    byte[] larr = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(ls);
    byte[] rarr = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(rs);
    int len = Math.Min(larr.Length, rarr.Length);
    for (int i = 0; i < len; i++)
    int li = (int)(larr[i] & 0xFF);
    int ri = (int)(rarr[i] & 0xFF);
    int d = li - ri;
    if (d != 0)
    return d;
    return larr.Length - rarr.Length;
    private void Serialize(string s, Stream outStream)
    byte[] bytes = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(s);
    int len = bytes.Length;
    Serialize((byte)(len >> 8), outStream);
    Serialize((byte)(len), outStream);
    Serialize(bytes, outStream);
    That should do the trick.

  • PL/SQL Packages as Web Services - plsqlAssemble Task - Code Generation

    Hi,
    I was able to generate Web Services for some of the PL/SQL packages using plsqlAssemble Task. (10.1.3 .1.1)
    It produces a certain number of java classes for that.
    Then I had to modify some of the generated code.
    What is the best approach on modifying the generated code.
    My concern is that I will have to rebuild/generate the code again in a future because the code generated may be not supported in future version of OAS, which was the case with the previous version ( 9.0.4 ) and I will have to maintain /support all manual changes.
    Even when I don't need to modify the generated code what is the chances that it will not be supported for the future version of OAS and we need constantly sink it up with the current versions.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Michael Hitrik

    Ronald,
    Thanks for you advise.
    I don't think that it will be a good solution .
    First, I would like to know if I have to re-generate the code. If this is a case then plsqlAssemble would be a big problem as a solution. Our clients would need to do this as well.
    What I am actually doing is the following:
    I am trying to secure PL/SQL Web Services with SOAP Headers for passing authentication data such as user and passw for the DataSource.
    It works great but I had to extend some of code generated Java classes which implements ServiceLifecycle to get SOAPMessageContext object.
    Thanks,
    Michael Hitrik

  • Web Service error handeling code?

    Hi,
    I have created a Web Service in JDeveloper and it is working fine. It was mostly done by clicking around in JDeveloper. Now I need to handle errors, so when an error occurs I need to create an XML response that contains error code and error text. This means some hand coding, can anybody please point me to an example or to a Java class I can use for this? :-)
    Regards Pete

    Hi Lakshminarayana,
