I have a big problem after installing of IOS 8.0.2 on my Ipad mini retina. There is no any internet connection for the applications like ITunes, App store, Facebook etc. Who can help me please for this matter? or how can I get back my previous version?

Sound Problem After Installing iOS 8.1

Hello, after updating my iPad to iOS8.1 it started making weird noises, kind of the same ones you get while blocking it or getting a notification but with a little of a "robotic" twist. Restoring it seemed to had fix it until I tried to get the 8.1 again. I was just wondering if someone its having the same issue, and if so, whats the solution. Do you think that i'll be treated on the 8.2 version? I had the same problem with my iphone 4 once and couldnt get it sorted out.

I successfully got my iPhone 6 messages sound by following Timothy Holt directions.

What you have to do, and this appears to be essential after you update the OS, is to reboot your phone.
1. Hold down the sleep/wake button and home button simultaneously.
2. Let go when the Apple logo appears and the iPhone is booting up.

Problems after installing ios 6

I recently downloaded and installed IOS 6. There are several issues as follows:
a) Adjustments is frozen. I got here in order to synchonize my Facebook ID and it is now frozen.
b) Apps are not being updated. I have now 8 Apps that are supposedly being updated for several days.

I Have been having issues as well.
1) I get page errors in Safari constantly and the pages have to reload. This is in pretty much everythimg I open. Facebook, Yahoo, NY Times, CNN, etc.
2) when trying to go from month view to day view in iCal, it kicks me out of the calendar. Now I contacted support on this, and after two hours got it fixed, with consequences. The app that had all of my passwords and login information was obliterated. Imgot a "Sorry about that" from the incompetent support person. Thank goodness I have a hard copy.
3) usually when I upgrade, most apps are kept in tact as far as remember me or keep open so I don't have to enter passwords on them everytime (think Starbucks type apps). Now I have to enter passcodes every time.
WHat has happened to Apple putting out a quality product? I remember when the big joke about Microsoft was if it dont work, reboot! Now Apple is following along that path. The reason I switched and was willing to pay more was for the quality control and quality of the product. I am finding myself less inclined to do so. It seems every day there is a new issue. Very disappointed with the new upgrade. It is crappy!

Answer the question. Was the phone jailbroken or hacked to unlock it?
If it was, you have bricked it.

Try the reset below. If that doesn't work contact the game developer for a IOS 8 update.. Two of my games didn't open and I've already recieved updates and the games work fine.
Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

Volume buttons don't work after installing ios 7.0.4

I have an Iphone 4 (MC603B/A) and after installing IOS 7.0.4 the volume buttons and the mute switch don't work. Also, if I receive a call or a message I don't get any sound.
There is no sound either if I play a video. At the same time, the alarm does work and the voice in the GPS works also.
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

After installing iOS 7, iBooks doesn't work well.
I have to log into my iTunes account before I can read the book that I've already downloaded and started reading.
I also have problems logging in to iTunes and often have to do a complete shutdown and restart before I can log in.
It's very frustrating and if I don't have connectivity, I can't read any books!
How do I get this fixed?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
I am going to get you to do a soft reset that, I will hope fix some of your issues.
To do this:
1. Press and hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously.
2. Continue holding both buttons until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart. This will take anywhere from 10-20 seconds.
3. When you see the Apple Logo, you can let go of the buttons.
If this still doesn't fix your device, what we could do is try resetting the whole device, wiping it. If this is the case, get back to me and I will pose the steps below. I would recommend that you do this AFTER the device is backedup however.
Before you restore your device
Make sure you’re using the latest version of iTunes.
Use iTunes to back up your device. Transfer and sync any additional content to your computer.
Turn off Find My iPhone in Settings > iCloud on your device to disable Activation Lock.
Restore your iOS device
Connect your iOS device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes. In the Summary panel, click Restore.
Click Restore again to confirm that you want to restore your device to factory settings and delete all data and content. iTunes will download the iOS software file and restore your iOS device.
After your iOS device is restored to factory settings, it will restart. Once it does, you’ll see the "Slide to set up” welcome screen. Follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant. You can set up your device as new or using a previous backup. If your iOS device has cellular service, it will activate after you restore.

I ALSO just updated my brand new iphone 6 to 8.0.2, and I ALSO had my cellular service BRICKED.
All I get on the signal meter is Verizon 1x. Every so often 3G would popup and you could send a text (no calls though) but it's gone in seconds. So I can't send texts or make phone calls.
This phone worked immediately before the update and stopped working immediately after the update.
My neighbor has a iphone 5S. He updated to 8.0.2 lat week and had no problems UNTIL just this morning, when his phone stopped working - no cellular voice or data. He downgraded back to ios 8.0 but his cellular service never came back.
Called verizon - was told there were no service outages and then I got transferred to tech team.
Tech team had do all the Apple troubleshooting steps but nothing more. So they said "take it back."
So this BRAND NEW iPhone 6 phone is BRICKED because of iOS 8.0.2.

The problem Apps may need to be updated. Or maybe your iTunes account needs to just update itself on your iPhone. To do this, install a free App from the App Store on your iPhone. Tap App Store app on iPhone, select and install a free App. When that is done try the problem Apps to see if they work OK again.

After Updating iTunes to the latest SW, I connected my iPod Touch 3G to the computer then checked iTunes for any app updates, found those that could not be updated to the iPod alone - downloaded them - when complete iTunes synced to my iPod. Worked fine for me.
I have not installed iOS 5.0.1 - to many problems!!

IPhone 4 runs without SIM card after installing iOS 7/7.1.1

After installing iOS 7 and all the latest update by using iTunes on my iPhone 4 I now have the problem that when starting the phone without a phone card I get the information that the SIM card is blocked and that you have to slide to unlock, the same information you usually receive when such a card is inside. Once unlocked the code screen appears asking for the PIN. The iPhone runs after having entered the PIN and you can open and work with all the apps which don't need an access to the internet like Calendar, Notes, Settings etc.. What has gone wrong? Can anybody help me please.

The SIM is only actually required during activation. And if you want a connection to a cellular carrier, of course. Once activated, the SIM can be removed and the device can be used as if it were an iPod Touch. This has always been this way.
I'm not entirely clear on what you think is wrong.
