This is a certification forum
I tend to think your post is significantly mis-directed to the incorrect forum and you need to inquire about being awarded plonker-of-the-day certification :-) (I've won that many times myself).
This is not really my scene but a lookup [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B15904_01/core.1012/b14001/optj2ee.htm#i1017060] might be helpful or might a sidetrack up a blind alley
Probablly posting in one of the categories in : [http://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=193] (Probably OAS - General or maybe OC4J) would good, or have a hunt through the forums for a more suitable one.

How do I roll back Itunes out of 10.6?

I doubt you can install iTunes 5 on Windows 7, even if you can find a copy.
    Oh, you meant 10.6?
Uninstall 10.6, restore the dated library file from the Previous iTunes Libraries folder that would have worked with the older version you are going to install, then install your old vesion of iTunes.

I am attempting to access KiwiBank online banking using Firefox (my preferred browser). It allows me to enter my account access number and password but when I click through to the next window which is a secure password window, Firefox flashes at the top pf the page asking me to allow the cookies, I click allow however the KiwiBank window then goes to another window stating my session has timed out - after 3 attempts the bank locks me out 9which is a tad frustrating :o0

    # Yes, if you go to accounts.firefox.org, sign out, you will now be signed out.
    # Sign back in, and you will be asked to save the password you entered.
    # This will save the password and autocomplete if you have this option turned on.
I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it? But after storing the correct password you can manage any duplicate passwords in the password manager.[[Password manager - Remember, delete and change saved passwords in Firefox]]

  • TV out problem, rolling back to earlier firmwares

I went and bought a component video cable from Apple, so I could improve my video output to TV (I've got a composite video cable, as well)
Well, get back from the Apple store, hook up my cable to test it and -- nothing plays back, absolutely nothing. Went back to my old composite video cable, same thing! No output to my TV set.
Now, 6-months ago I was on the road and getting awesome playback from the Touch. The only thing that's changed is installation of the latest firmware.
SO DOES 2.1 KILL TELEVISION OUTPUT ON THE TOUCH???
Also have a couple of questions/ideas I could use some help with.
    - might a complete restore, reset fix the TV out with the 2.1 firmware? If so, can anyone guide me on how to do so?
    - if the firmware is the problem, does anyone know how I can roll back to 1.4.4 or whatever the older drivers were that actually worked regarding TV out? How does one even go about finding and installing the older drivers?
Any help appreciated because as it stands now, both my AV cables charge the Touch but when I play a video, it's as if there's no cables attached -- video only plays back on the screen (which is a drag cause I've spent $100 on these two cables).

  • HT1766 I can't get my iPod to "backup" to iCloud. It started and told me the estimated time remaining. When I came back, it said it couldn't be completed because the verification request timed out. Can anyone tell me why this keeps happening?

I've tried several times to get it to Backup to iCloud. But every time I do, it will start and say it is "backing up". Then after a few minutes, it tells me that the backup could not be completed because the verification timed out. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

  • Why does the family locator sesson timed out and will not let you log back in for 24 hours?

Sometimes when I log into family locator it says session timed out and signs you out?  Than it makes you wait 24 hours or longer to log back in.

angery, Let's get your Family Locator sessions working properly! When this happens, have you tried closing and reopening your web browser? Are you signed into the Family Locator site as the Account Owner or Account Manager? The Family Locator app is also available on select mobile devices. Open the app store (e.g., Google Play , App Store , etc.) on your device and search for Verizon Family Locator. If the app appears in the search results, your device is compatible and you can download the app. This may be a great alternative to the Web Site. Please let us know which if you need further assistant.

My question is, how can I prevent this from happening again? My ipad is currently running on 4.3.3 software version.

    If using windows...
Temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software and try again...

  • When using citrix through safari on my iPad , how do I keep it from timing out and having to keep logging back in when I don't use it for awhile?

When using citrix thru safari on my iPad , how do I keep from getting timed out and having to log in again after not using it for awhile ?

I know nothing about this app but I just did a very quick search on the app support forum for Citrix and saw something about enabling a setting called Caffiene. Have you tried that? It overrides the auto lock from what I saw in the discussion.
I'm just not sure why the iPad would sleep at all if it the Auto Lock is set to never. The only other things that I could think to try is to restart the iPad and then see if the Auto Lock setting works properly or maybe quit all apps and then try again. That really shouldn't matter but there might be an app that is overriding the auto lock for some reason. Or even reset the device - hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. The iPad system might just need a kick in the butt.
Edit - after rereading your post I see that you are going through Safari. The suggestion that I found was for the Citrix app. I assume the Caffiene setting is not available through Safari.

  • So i locked myself out the ipod and i followed the steps to restore. it was restoring,,in the last eight minutes my ipod went back on and it said ipod disabled..but there was still restoring and then it said the connectioned timed out i need help

i locked myself out of my ipod and i tryed unlocking it and then the "ipod is disabled" remark shoowed up. I knew what to do to restores it but in the last one minute of restoring a message popped up and said something about it cant finish it and the connectioned timed out. I tried this at my buddies house and it did the same. Ieven my freind (whos very good in electronics and computers) couldnt do it, i need help is there anyway possible?

Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.
    - Next try the manual install method of:
iDevice Troubleshooting 101 :: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
Place the iPod in recovery mode after the firmware download is complete and then restore using the instructions in the article. Sometimes recovery mode timeouts and returns to disabled before the firmware download is complete.

  • MDB transaction getting silently rolled back?

I have an MDB that is doing a delete of a database record in the onMessage method.
It seems to work fine. I see no errors in the log, in fact I have some debug
statements that indicate everything was completed normally. I even do a count
sql using the same where clause and print the results and see a '0'.
However, when I check the database, the record is still there.
It seems as if the transaction is getting rolled back somehow. The MDB is transaction
required/container tx. I never setRollbackOnly anywhere.
The topic was originally published in a transaction that was rolled back, if that
makes any difference. In fact, the point of the MDB is to clean up a record that
was created during the transaction but not within the transaction.
              Any help is appreciated!
              ken

It turned out that the MDB was using a different connection pool than it should
have, which was pointed to an old copy of the database. So it wasn't really rolling
back, it really was deleting records as desired, just in the wrong database.
              Thanks
              ken

  • Javax.transaction.SystemException: Timed out while in 'Logging' state!!!!

Hello, we have an OracleWeblogic 10.3.2 running on a Solaris OS.
In this AppServer we have a FullStack J2EE Application executing distributed transactions that involve 3 manageable resources:
    TxDatasource (EJB),
    NonTxDatasource with enableTwoPhaseCommit and
    JMS
Some of the transactions are timing out while in 'Logging' state and I just cant figure out what the root cause is. As a defensive action I lowered the JTA Timeout seconds because I noticed the 'Logging' phase was taking too long and then timing out. Idea here was not to have too many threads hanging in Logging state and therefore use the JTA Timeout to overcome this problem and minimize impact.
Below, I'm posting a few exceptions thrown in applicaiton log. Any help is very appreciated.

Any help is very appreciated.

    hi,
    try this,
go to Message Monitoring in RWB, delete all the messages with status system error and onhold.
    it shd solve your problem

  • Transaction timed out with oracle 9i

    Hi,
    I am working with weblogic6.1.
Sometimes (very seldom) I have a problem which I don't undserstand.
The transaction stops and and after some time I get TimedOutException.
This time it happend in the findByPrimaryKey of a CMP Entity bean.
I have this problem only with Oracle 9i. with oracle8i everything works
    fine.
I'm using oracle thin driver (I put oracle12.zip at the begin of weblogic
    classpath)
    Is this problem of oracle?
    Does WLS 6.1 support Oracle9i?
    Thanks for any hints

    Dear all,

    95 seconds".
When the error occurred, only one java application was running. Furthermore,
I set the JTA-->Timeout Seconds to 30 in the thr the Weblogic console. The
configuration of the server is WebLogic 7.0 with SP2 and Oracle 8.1.7.
Anyone know what happen and how to resolve the problem? The error is due to
the entity bean, Weblogic or Oracle?
    Thanks a lot.
IreneOr configuration. You can set your timeout to a different value. It is likely
to be an oracle problem. We don't do anything unnecessary to delay your application
code. You may be able to check the jdbc log or jta log to see when the tx starts and
how long it takes to progress. If you note a delay, you could take a server
thread dump to see what weblogic is doing. Typically it will be waiting for
Oracle to respond from a jdbc call.
