SharePoint Online 2013 Workflows for one List stopped working after 07/08/2014
Our client host application in Office 365 SharePoint Online 2013, and we just found that all workflows for one list stopped working after 7, Aug 2014. It kept displaying pop-up message "Something went wrong. To try again, reload the page and then start
the workflow." when manually start a workflow for this List.
Tested workflow for other list, there's no problem.
Could anyone can help on this issue?

It seems lists with a description that includes several words have this problem. The bug report suggests replacing the blanks " " between the words in such lists' descriptions with an underscore "_".

Add-ons for android Firefox stop working after reboot
I have Firefox (ver. 21.0) installed on my Ramos W30 tablet running ICS (4.0.4) and my UG007 android stick running JB (4.1.1). They both have the same problem. After a reboot, the add-ons stop working. If you look at the add-ons, all the info which would show below "options" is gone. The only way I've been able to get them working again is to uninstall and reinstall the add-ons.
Any other way to fix this or prevent this from happening?I only use 2 add-ons and it happens with both. I use adblock and tabstothefront. They both stop working after reboot.

Photoshop CS4 "licensing for product has stopped working" after restoring backup to new laptop
I purchased a new macbook pro running os x 10.9.3 and restored from a Time Capsule backup from my older laptop also running the same OS version. (Migration assistant was not working and this was Apple's recommendation). Now Photoshop CS 4 gives the following error "150:30 licensing for this product has stopped working". I've tried the Adobe recommended steps i found on their site short or reinstalling.

I have had this same problem before. The problem is that restoring from backup or migrating Photoshop CS4 breaks the licensing.
You normally get a 150:30 error.
Two ways to fix this:
10.7 and above: Run the python script in Terminal to repair this, or reinstall CS4 from your disks.

Out of the box sharepoint online 2013 workflow
Hi All,
I have a workflow that sends a email to a user after creating a new document.
Now a want to attach a document to this email but this is not possible with the out of the box SharePoint 2013 solution. I use the SP 2010 workflow because I need to send a email to an external user.
Is there a solution that I can use to attach a document to a email in a workflow?Not possible out of the box. Just curious why would you want to email someone files over the email? I think the logical way is to simply send the item link. This will show user the item details and attachments.

I would still recommend you to send the current Item URL in the email instead of sending document as an attachment.

Apps stop working after updating to 2014.1 - only in one account.
I updated to 2014.1 and Photoshop will open, but will not respond to mouse or keyboard input and has to be force closed. Photoshop CC still works fine.
After previous experience with the Update Manager, all updates were installed under the Administrator account.
Back in the regular user account (is also an Admin account) Premiere started getting slower to open, then stopped altogether with the "could not detect video playback device" error. Updating drivers, both for Nvidia graphics and Intel graphics (laptop) made no difference.
Both programs work fine in other accounts - both the Administrator account and a newly created test account.
Preferences were synced online to the Administrator account and then, when not all of them came back, they were manually copied from the nonworking user account. Premiere continues to work in the Administrator account.
I really need this to work in my normal user account - I have other applications that will have to be re-authorized and preferences restored, as well as all of the Adobe CC preferences and presets as Cloud sync doesn't really work fully.
Any suggestion for possible courses of action would be greatly appreciated. I'm off for a couple of weeks so I'll try and get this fixed, otherwise I'll get a new HDD and do a clean install.
JoeSorry, thought I'd mentioned that - all accounts have Admin privileges, although all installs and updates are always done through the actual Administrator account.
Although I've decided to start the year with a fresh install on a new SSD, I'd kind of like to figure this out.
I have since:
Created a new user account.
Premiere and Photoshop run fine.
Copy everything from the Old User folder except the ntuser.* files that are the common culprit on corrupt user accounts - although there have been no other indications of that.
Premiere and Photoshop fail in the same way as before.
Create a new user account.
Copy everything not Adobe in the User folders.
New user account now behaves (mostly) like the old user account but Premiere and Photoshop work.
Incidentally, even though I verified that it was checked, Syncing user settings with the Cloud does not restore my saved workspaces. It does restore effects presets. -
Option-double-clicking for docs has stopped working after iOS 4.0.1?

I've just installed the XCode 3.2.3 and iOS 4.0.1 SDKs and now the auto-linking to the documentation has broken. It works about 50% of the time, and quite randomly as to what it can or can't find.
The documentation is up to date, as I can always find the method/type name manually. Is there a way to force a rebuild of this linkage? (I've tried rebuild code sense index)

Looks to me like it never finds methods declared in protocols, e.g. - (void)applicationDidFinishLaunching: ...
Also, it looks like there's problems with ambiguous method names, e.g. [[NSData alloc] initWithContentsOfFile: ... which will take you to NSArray's documentation.
No, I have no idea on how to fix this.

How to Loop through another list and update a column with SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflow
Hi,
I am trying to get my head around the new 2013 Workflow Engine and SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflow Text-Based Designer.
I have two lists.
List A has 2 columns: Title, Completed (Yes/No)
List B has 3 columns: Title, LookupListATitle, Completed (Yes/No)
All the 2013 Workflow components have been installed and configured and I am selecting the 2013 Workflow option in SPD
I am trying to set off a 2013 Workflow when an item in List A is edited to Loop through List B and select items where the LookupListATitle column's value is equal to the Title value of the current item, and set the value of the Completed column for those
items in ListB to "Yes".
I have the Workflow configured like this:
Stage: Stage 1
IF Current Item:Completed equals Yes
Loop: 1
The contents of this loop will run repeatedly while: ListB:LookupListATitle equals Current Item: Title
Update item in ListB.
(The dialog options for the update item action as follows:
List: ListB
Field: Completed, Value: Yes
In the Find the List Item section
Field: LookupListATitle
Value: Current Item: Title)
Transition to stage
Go to End of Workflow
When I update an item in ListA and set its Completed column to Yes, I would expect the Workflow to find all the items in List B where the Lookup column is equal to ListA's Title (there are 2) and update their Completed column to Yes. But it doesn't work.
When I look at the Workflow Status it says the Internal Status is "Canceled" and the information pop up has the following alien language (and may be truncated):

I understand that you wanted to update the items in the other list (Participants) where the Course equals the Current Item.
You need to use “Call HTTP Web Service" action and “Build Dictionary" action to get the Maxid and then loop Participants to update the items.
You can follow the steps as below to achieve what you want:
Create a custom list named Courses, add columns: Title(Single line of text), Course ID(Single line of text), Course Finalised (Yes/No).
Create a custom list named Participants, add columns: Title(Single line of text), Course(Lookup), CourseFinalised (Yes/No).
Create workflow associated to Courses, start the workflow automatically when an item is created or changed.
Add conditions and actions:
The HTTP URL is set to
https://sitename/_api/web/lists/GetByTitle('listname')/items?$orderby=Id%20desc and the HTTP method is set to “GET”. Then the list will be order by Id and desc.
Then if Course Finalised is equal to Yes, the CourseFinalised of the associated items in Participants will be updated to Yes.

Start a workflow for a list item that was created by someone else
What settings do I need to change so that I can start a workflow for a list item created by another user?
I have a SharePoint 2013 workflow (let's call it LSR Status Workflow) that is associated with a list (called
LSR List). When a user creates an item in the LSR List, it automatically starts the
LSR Status Workflow. That is what I wanted, but sometimes I make changes to the workflow (via SharePoint designer) and then I would want to terminate the existing workflows that are running and restart them.
When I try to start a workflow for anyone other than a list item that I created, I get the following error:

If I created the list item, I can stop it and restart it without any problems, but this is not the case for list items created by someone else.
What settings do I need to change so that I can start a workflow for a list item created by another user? I am the owner of the SharePoint site and am able to make changes to permissions if needed.You don't need to re-do the fields. If you create a new version of the PDF
file just open the old one and use the Replace Pages command to insert the
pages from the new version over the old ones. This will give you a new
version of the file, with the existing form fields still in tact. Of
course, you might need to adjust their location and/or size, but at least
you won't have to start all over again...

No for Send e-mail when ownership is assigned. Then we need to create workflow to send email.

Visio Web Access Refresh in SharePoint Online 2013
I'm trying to pull in SharePoint Online 2013 List data into a Visio Pro 2013 diagram and then serve the diagram into a SharePoint Online Page under a Visio Data Access Web Part.
I have no working knowledge of Visio, but made a data connection and presented SPO list data on my diagram. But the data appears to be static when deployed to the Visio Access Web Part - even when I manually refesh. I think, I'm not correctly
adding list fields to my document.
I've set refresh rates on both the document and the web part, but neither help.
For a demo I want to show a single list field - nothing fancy.

Per the following article, the data sources will be disconnected and can't be refreshed after the Visio is published to SharePoint.
