Split sinus generation

Hi,
I need help in splitting signal generation. I want to generate sinus signal, for example sinus with frequency 0.1 Hz. Means, it would take 10seconds to generate simply 1cycle. The problem is, I want to generate the signal with NI DAQmx and NI HSDIO. These devices has buffer.
I need to split my signals into smaller pieces, let say, 0.5 seconds pieces so I can generate the signal continuously and get my full cycle after 20x iteration.
How can I do that??

HSDIO is not relavant for analog signal generation, it is High Speed Digital (say TTL) Input Output.
What device (other than HSDIO) you have? Also you have not mentioned the update rate required?
Now considering the Output FIFO Size, you can probably choose analog output generation in regeneration mode with dynamically updating user buffer data.
The bottleneck in the signal generation will be, to update the output buffer (that is to transfer next set of samples, to be generated, from PC/software buffer to onboard [hardware] buffer), Relative to & Offset property nodes will play important role.
I am not allergic to Kudos, in fact I love Kudos.

Split Source Mapping Generation Task

I created a Dynamic Web Project in IBM Rational Application Developer Version 8. I am using BEA Weblogic 10.0.2 as the Application Server. When creating Dynamic web project, I added project to an EAR and named it testEAR. The project compiles without any errors and EAR is generated. When I try to add it to my server and deploy, I get the following error.
Runtime exception occurred in publish task 'Split Source Mapping Generation Task'.
Path must include project and resource name: /testEAR
I checked web.xml for duplicate entries and didnt find anything. Below are my XML files for Deployment Assembley. The first is for the testEAR project

Hi,
This failure occurred probably because a Content Directory was not specified for the EAR project.
If a Content directory is not specified, then ".settings" and ".project" files will be part of the source path for the bea compiler.
As per the requirement, it is very important that WLS build scripts parse/compile and copy all the contents of the source folder.
So, as per the process the ".settings" directory and the ".project" directory are also copied into the temporary build directory.
This causes the failure during deployment as ".settings" and ".project" components can't be deployed.
The Content directory is a requirement only in WLS environment, due to the build logic of WLS.
By default, the WLS Eclipse tasks create a Content directory for a EAR project. So, this is not documented.
But, when you import an existing EAR directory, this limitation is exposed.
Creating the EAR Content folder should be the best solution.
Steps to modify imported applications:
1. Create a directory for the EAR content (for APP-INF, META-INF and all other modules or files that are part of the EAR) and copy all the files (except ".settings" and ".project") into the EAR content directory. (This has to be performed in windows explorer)
2. Then edit the file .settings/org.eclipse.wst.common.component EAR content directory reference for deploy-path:
For eg:

to
<wb-resource deploy-path="/" source-path="/EarContent"/>
3. Refresh the eclipse project.
4. Delete the temporary project folder that is created in the below location:

cd D:\Cases\EclipseWorkspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\.projects\
del WebTestEAR\

5. Now, try to deploy the EAR project.

Number Range Split from external to internal generation

Dear Expert,
Currently we have various customer account group for which single below number rang 02 is assigned. Client has sub-range slab which assigned to different account group, unfortunately this is setup was not setup in SAP system. Hence whenever user wanted to create new customer in particular group they look for last account number used in that sub-goup and then input account number. Now client want to shift everything in auto-generation and wanted to use same sub-range number in continuation. which I am finding difficulties since last number used from the 02 number range is 202102 and I am not sure how system will react if I delete existing number range 02 and then split with different number range and what will be the implication on existing records?
Looking for the assistance!

Currently there is one number range assigned to both customer group and now we wanted to split and change to internal assignment. In below case A0001 should use next number 201151 and A0002 next number should be 202103? second group A0002 is possible by ending last number as 202102 in number 02, but how I will achieve group A0001 to generate next number as 201151?

Cette carte peut generer deux signaux analogiques simultanement.
Tu dois d'abord creer les tableaux de points representant les sinus puis les entrelacer (1er point signal 1, 1er point signal 2, 2e point signal 1, ...). Les signaux doivent avoir le meme nombre de points.
Pour generer les signaux, tu peux choisir dans la palette le vi AO Generate Waveforms en utilisant les voies analogiques 0 et 1.

I Am Using Cisco ASA 5505 VPN Firewall and 6Mbps 1:1 dedicated internet connection.
in Lan Side we have 3 networks one for Internet Users one For VPN Users One for CCTV
i would like to split the 6Mbps bandwidth for these network 3 networks 3x2 each
each network use 2Mbps bandwidth. The VPN and CCTV Users use up to 6:00 pm after that the bandwidth will be free
after the 6:00 pm we need to use the the VPN and CCTV line bandwidth to the internet Users.

There's not much of that sort of functionality built into the ASA 5505 entry level firewall. To do that sort of thing in the firewall, you would have to move up to one of the newer 5500-X series with next generation firewall features and build a policy using Application Visibility and Control (AVC).
You can do some crude controls with QoS - the configuration guide chapter on doing that is here.

MS Report Generation

Hallo Folks,
one question please. When using the report generation toolkit, I would like to read a data file in ASCII and make a report in MS Excel. So the file contains a header and the actual data, i.e. 6 different columns for ach variable acquired. How do I make several graphs in one report. Generally, is it OK to make a template in Excel (which I did) which already contains the graphs that are updated by the data file ? If not I suppose i have to make the empty template into which I insert the plots from Labview. But then I use the approach to insert a new graph and then additional functions as scaling, setting the object color and so on. I tried to run everything in the way that first plot is made and edited, then I close the activeX reference of the plot and pass on the ref. number of the report into the additional charts. Somehow it does not work since I fill the header data into the report but no plots are actually shown. Error is -4110 (NI_ReportGenerationToolkit.lvlib:Excel_Get_Range.vi -> NI_Excel.lvclass:Excel Insert Graph.vi -> Chart Options.vi -> MS Excel Report. Trial.vi). I suppose from debugging that one source of the code is that it actually closes the report befor the plots are even made. I suppose this can be avoided by data flow when the closing actuallly waits for the error from the previous functions, i.e. making the charts. The fundamental question, however, is if I have to make the plots in parallel (splitting the ref. number and error nodes) to each of the graph, or whether i can make it in a series. I attach the code for illustration. Any help is appreciated.

thank you for the feed back and sorry for the unclarity. I would like to have a small vi that opens a datalog file which contains six variables (one indepent time column) and all other dependent ones. I point the vi to my template in excel which does have user information and experiment related information so far with empty values. No graphs are in this excel template at the moment of opening. Upon reading the datalog file the values in cells are extracted from the datalog file header and I want to make five graphs in excel from the data.
I mean first of all I do not want to have more plots in one graph since excel in my opinion is clumsy at that, at second the data are more readable one at a time. What I am not sure about is the way I make the graphs. Menaing I open the report, fill in the cell values than I make one graph, edit it, close its activeX reference make another one and so o until the last graph is made. In the end I close the activX reference of the report itself and save the report under a specified name. In other words I am not sure of is when closing the first graph the reference of the report is still the same ? I read in the LV Help that the additional graph function like scaling and updating do not work with the graph that is created directly in Excel, so by that I understand that I have to create the graphs from within LV code. Otherwise, I think it would be much easier to make the graphs in the excel template do all the formatting, scaling and labeling in excel and each time I call the vi it just updates the data in cells and in the graphs as well. CS5.5 I can't get testing server, "design" and "Split" views operational

I just upgraded from DWCS3 to DWCS5.5 and am trying to get php (dynamically related) files working. Very frustrating.
I have set up everything according to the tutorial at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/setup_testing_server.html Nothing seems to work. And no one seems to currently be answering posts...so I apologize if this is a faux pas, but I'm starting a new thread in hopes that I and others can get some help.

I entered http://localhost in my browser and recieved the following page:
Asd you can see everything is working. I thought that when you called local host, it went to the www/ directory where I have my sites
I still don't see a problem with my settings

How do I do a split screen to show the contents of my Library and a playlist at the same time?

I’m using iTunes 11.3.1 on a current generation Mac running OSX 10.9.4.
I like to manually create playlists. I want to be able to see the contents of a playlist and my library at the same time. Is there a way to do a split screen view in iTunes so the songs in my playlist show in one window and the library shows in another?

The Same Album is Split Into Two On My iPod

Okay this may be hard to explain but here it goes...
I bought a CD, and imported it onto my iTunes library. No big deal. It imported fine. Then I tried importing it onto my 4th Generation iPod Touch (32GB). The album has 10 tracks, and it was split into two on my iPod. One album has all tracks 1-10, while the other has tracks 2-10. But when I search up the song on my iPod (on the songs list), it only comes up as one. I tried deleted the album that has tracks 2-10, but when I do, the tracks 2-10 on the other album get deleted, so I'm only left with Track 1.
This is starting to get really confusing for me and I don't know what to do. In my iTunes library it comes up as one album, on iTunes when I look at my songs list it comes up as one album, and even on my actual iPod on the songs list, there's only 1 version of each song, but on the albums list, there's 2 versions of the same album.

In iTunes on your computer right click on the songs and select Get Info and look at the sorting. From iTunes Help
Tips for using song and CD info to organize your music
You can edit information in the Info window to make it easier to find and sort items in your library. For example, you can:
Group individual movements on a classical CD into one work by indicating the name of the work (for example, “Piano concerto in A Minor, Op. 54”) in the Grouping field.
Group songs that are part of a compilation together in your library by clicking Details and selecting the checkbox next to “Album is a compilation of songs by various artists”.
Identify the individual artists on a tribute album in the Artist field, and type “various” in the Album Artist field.
Create your own genre category by clicking Details and typing the category in the Genre field.
Change the order in which tracks on a CD play by changing the numbers in the Track fields.
Create a Smart Playlist that includes only songs that are just the right speed for your workout by typing the number of beats per minute in the BPM field. For instructions, see Create a Smart Playlist.
Identify a movie as a music video (click the Options button, and choose Music Video from the Media Kind pop-up menu).
Identify an item that you imported from a CD as an audiobook, so it appears under Audiobooks instead of Music (click the Options button and choose Audiobook from the Media Kind pop-up menu). If you do this, iTunes also remembers your place in the audiobook.
Enter custom sorting criteria for an item. Select the item, choose File > Get Info, click Sorting, and enter the custom text.

How to split a graph in two or more pages

Hi, I would like to know if it's possibile make a graph to be visualized on more than one page (horizontally)
In my case I have a query that extracts a lot of results (so I have a lot of points on the X axis),
and I'd like to make it easier to read it, making the graph wider.
I tried to insert the graph in a record group setting max record count, but it seems that Reports goes in an
infinite loop during the layout generation...

Batch Split in Inbound Delivery document

Hello Friends,
In decentralized WM managed scenario, inbound delivery is created automatically when the storage location is HU managed. In the current design, we need to use MIGO/MB1B transaction for replicating stocks into warehouse location, and all the materials are managed.
We have a batch split management to use for distributing the cumulative batches into warehouse. In our testing, transaction MB1B cannot support batch split management however transaction MIGO is closely supporting our need. In the MIGO, we have a distributed quantity functionality and through this we can able to split the quantity into multiple batches.
However, when during inbound delivery generation (Inbound delivery generates in background from MIGO document when location is HU managed), system is generating the individual line item instead batch split, example -

OWB 11.2 internal error during mapping generation

Dear all,
Ever since switching to OWB 11.2 I have been sporadically receiving unexplicable errors during mapping deployment. It only happens when I generate more than 1 mapping simultaneously, and it appears to be completely random. One or more mappings will fail during the generation phase of the deployment with an 'internal error', after which I get the option to continue deployment of those mappings that did generate correctly. What I usually do next is trying to deploy the failed mappings again, which always works - the internal error does not reoccur. But it seems to be that this second generation does not work properly either.
For example, today I had to redeploy my entire set of mappings, due to a server change. Of the 60 mappings I had, about 5 failed with the forementioned error. (Sadly I can't include the exact error here since the job logs in the control center do not record this failure to generate, it looks like the failed mappings never were included in the job in the first place.) One of them I deployed aftewards, and found the query in the pacakge to look like:

Funny enough, if I generate the mapping again a bit later - without making any changes to the mapping - the code is complete and everything works properly.
Does anyone else ever had this problem? My main problem is that I can't just reproduce this problem, so I can't exactly report it as a bug and expect it to be solved...

Good morning Dave,
I do mean during deployment. As you probably know all too well, the deployment of a package is split in two parts: generation of the code, and the actual deployment. The internal error occurs during that first part - the generation of code. The exact steps I went through when the error occured are the following:
1) I selected about 15 mappings, and chose to 'replace' these mappings in the database. The code was generated, with 4 mappings having the forementioned 'internal error'. After pressing the play button the deployment of the 11 remaining packages continued without problem.
2) Within the same session, I selected the 4 failed mappings, and chose to 'replace' these again. The generation and deployment was succesful - no internal errors occured.
3) I exited OWB and started a daily workflow process. One of the mappings that had an internal error in step 1 crashed with a 'cannot insert null into' error.
4) I restarted OWB, opened the mapping, chose to generate the code, and compared the generation result with the package code in the database. This resulted in the difference mentioned in my original mail.
5) I deployed (replace) the mapping once more, and verified the code in the database. This time the code was complete (no missing column).

Exchange 2010 SP3, RU5 - Massive Transaction Log File Generation

Hey All,
I am trying to figure out why 1 of our databases is generating 30k Log Files a day! The other one is generating 20K log files a day. The database does not grow in size as the log files are generated, the problem is log file generation.
I've tried running through some of the various solutions out there, reviewed message tracking logs, rpc client access logs, IIS Logs - all of which show important info, but none of which actually provide the answers.
I Stopped the following services to see if that would affect the log file generation in any way, and it has not!
MS Exchange Transport
Mail Submission
IIS (Site Stopped in IIS)
Mailbox Assistants
Content Indexing Service
With the above services stopped, I still see dozens (or more) log files generated in under 10 minutes, I also checked mailbox size reports (top 10) and found that several users mailboxes were generating item count increases for one user of
about 300, size increases for one user of about 150Mb (over the whole day).
I am not sure what else to check here? Any ideas?

Hmm - this sounds like an device is chewing up the logs.
If you use log parser studio, are there any stand out devices in terms of the # of hits?
And for the ExMon was that logged over a period of time? The default 60 second window normally misses a lof of stuff. Just curious!

Thanks for the response. When checking the logs the highest number of hits were the (Source) Load Balancers, Port 25 VIP. The problem i was experience was the following:
1) I kept expecting the log file generation to drop to an acceptable rate of 10~20 MB Per Minute (Max). We have a large environment and use the exchange sevrers as the mail relays for the hated Nagios monitoring environment
2) We didn't have our enterprise monitoring system watching SMTP traffic, this is being resolved.
3) I needed to look closer at the SMTP transport database counters, logs, log files and focus less on the database log generation, i did do some of that but not enough of that.
4) My troubleshooting kept getting thrown off due to the monitoring notifications seeming to be sent out in batches (or something similar) stopping the transport service for 10 ~ 15 minutes several times seemed to finally "stop the transactions logs
from growing at a psychotic rate".
5) I am re-running my data captures now that i have told the "Nagios Team" to quit killing the exchange servers, with their notifications, sometimes as much as 100+ of the same notifications for the same servers, issues. so far at a quick glance
the log file generation seems to have dropped by about 30%.
Question: What would be the best counters to review in order to "Put it all together"? Also note: our Server roles are split, MBX and CAS/HT.
