TS1702 hen i go to the app store it does not ask me for my password
i can not get any of my apps to update nor can i install any new apps. when I go to the app store it does not prompt me for my user name or password anymore . ... any sudgestions ????

It sounds to me like you are trying to get new content or update your apps but no matter what you do you are not being prompted for your Apple ID and password. I recommend first starting by signing out of your iTunes and App Stores in Settings > iTunes and App Stores. Then close all the running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone, sign back into your account and try again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, I would next backup your device to iTunes, and restore it:

The application called VirusScan that comes preloaded on the macbook will no longer open, claiming that it is corrupt and that I must reinstall it. Remove is ASAP. Do not use the provided uninstalled, as there are widespread reports of pop-ups advertising MacKeeper on your system after incompletely removing it. Try this:

As for VirusScan, Barney is right on the money that it does not come preinstalled on any Mac shipped new from Apple. However you have gotten it, your best bet is removing it. Why can't I update or load new apps on my iPhone and iPad. It does not ask me for my password. I tried to sync from my laptop now I am unable to connect to any sites from internet explorer. When I try to update or load any app it tells me it is corrupt
You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.

I have a used ipad ,set back to factory settings. I open the app store, it connects and brings up the headers but there is no list of apps. Please advise.

When I download a new app from App Store and press open when it's complete, it won't do anything, and when I look on my home screens it's nowhere to be found but if I go to settings and look under icloud and usage, I can find them but out from it says no data. I have tried deleting them and reinstalling but that's no working either... Please help me.. Thank you very much:)
Try resetting the phone. Push both the home and lock button at the same time until it goes off. Keep them pushed until the Apple logo come up...
Also, try deleting the app and downloading it again. -

I dont know why this is happening, i have had my ipad for a year, then suddenly i was requested to enter my card details for the free apps. No one has access to my ipad, except me.
Go to settings, scroll down to App logo. Tap the logo, to open up the window on righthand side, Tap the App logo under automatic downloads and ghost out (turn off) this worked for me -

However, i do not get ay result. But if I search in google then I can find the link and I can then view in itune but no option to buy. Need a know how to solve this issue.

When I go to update my software using the app store download, it always asks for the previous user's ID, not mine (my IT guy at school's-I am a faculty with admin priviledges). I have signed in as me, have set the main preferences login user as me,and everywhere on the laptop I can use my apple ID except here. It always shows me a greyed out ID of my IT. How can I reset this to my ID? It doesn't give me an option to change the user ID, only a link to reset password. I reset it, but it did not change the problem. Can someone help me?
It's not an ID problem, it's an ownership problem.
When someone uses their personal Apple ID to buy and download content, the content is licensed to them and has their Apple ID engrained in it's DNA. It is an anti-piracy program. And when that personal Apple ID is used to setup a new Mac, it involves the Mac itself, the shipping OS and any pre-installed apps as well.
It's not the correct way to handle Macs that belong to a business or an institution. And had it been handled correctly they would not now be in this predictument needing a drastic remedy. -
My wishlist is not working in the app store on my ipad it is woking fine in itunes store so i can add films and music but the icon "add to wish list" is not available on the app store so does anyone know how to fix this
The wish list only works on apps you have to pay for. To get it tap the icon of the app you want to save. After it opens at the upper right corner is a box with a arrow. Tap that then tap add to wish list list in the box that opens.

If you can't remember your security questions go to Express Lane.
select iTunes from the list, then iTunes store. On the next screen select account Management. There, select iTunes store account security and write that you would like to reset your security questions and / or answers.
You should get an eMail reply over the next 24 hours. -

This works for apps you've acquired, but does not work for built-in features. I am regularly nagged to update Digital Camera RAW Compatibility (currently I'm being nagged about Update 6.03). I've tried the method described above - the steps are available, but they appear to have no effect. I think this is perhaps because RAW compatibility is an element of OSX rather than a separate app. I don't use RAW format with cameras, and have no need for this feature. Even if I did, I have none of the 13 camera models listed in this update.
It is just a nuisance, but if anyone knows how to suppress this I would appreciate instructions.
I would also be curious if anyone can explain why on earth Apple would incorporate RAW camera format compatibility into the core of its operating system. It shakes my confidence in their operating system design. -
