TS3276 Internet Mail Delivery Problem

I have been getting "Internet Delivery Problem" on my email since midnight last night.  All my email is coming through, accompanied by the above message,  and all messages are going out.  I don't see how to fix this.  Any suggestions?  I am on iCloud and went to Connection Doctor, and it said everything was fine!

Seems to not be system-wide.  My husbands .mac account is behaving just fine. 
Just curious, did anyone having problems also lose service a while back? If I understood what happened correctly, Apple had one big server center go down and I lost email for a couple of days but my husband didn't.  So he's located on a different server than mine.  Everyone seems randomly assigned since the outage was world-wide, and just those routed out of this one location lost service. Took them a while to acknowledge the issue, since it wasn't everyone.  Curious if this is affecting the same people?

    I'm running Server 10.4.9 and along with hosting two webpages I am hosting email for one of the domains. Whenever a message is received by an account hosted by my server, the time listed for receiving the email is incorrect. It varies from 1 to 4 hours fast or slow depending on the source of the email. It happens with both incoming and outgoing mail. If a message is sent from one account to another on my server, the time stamp is correct.
    In addition to the incorrect time, I have noticed messages directed to one account being delivered to another. For example, in my own mailbox I recieve messages that were intented to go to another user mailbox on my server. I don't know if that is related to the same problem or if it is a spam issue but I figure any bit of information will be helpful.
    And finally, I do not believe all mail is reaching the intended mailbox. I have junkmail and notjunkmail accounts enabled for spam and if I redirect 10 emails usually only 5 at the most will make it. I get no return errors when redirecting (ex: undeliverable)
    I have checked the obvious time and date panels in OS X including the server admin and everything matches. The timezone is also correct. I type date into the terminal and that comes up correct as well. This isn't my first time configuring a server.... I've hosted mail servers with 10.2 and 10.3 in the past with no problems but this is my first time using 10.4. I'm pretty comfortable navigating through the server, but I have limited experience in terminal. (Just for FYI) Usually with enough time I can figure almost anything out, but I've run out of ideas here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

    Where are you looking at the timestamp? On the message headers? Are you taking into account any timezone corrections on same headers? E.g. following message sent from Apple HQ to UK...

    What does the mail.log show for these messages? You should be able to track them moving through the system.

    I am trying to schedule an analysis to send an email in daily basis to a specific group of people. People can change according to their position in the company so the list must be dynamic. I tried to use option 'Get Recipients from the Analysis Used in the Agent Condition' in the recipients tab of schedular page. I created a different analysis just contains required email address list. Then choose its email column to get the recipients. Then run my agent, but no email is delivered. It is not working and I can not understand the reason Only mail is delivered when I write email addresses hard code such as xxx.hotmail.com etc.. What can be the problem?

    I found the reason but thank you for your attention again. The reason is SA System configuration changes are applied to the user profiles after login attempt. Users who do not login to the system after the configuration don't have an email address configured on their profiles.

  • Mail delivery problem

    Hi I have a few email accounts on my Macbook pro..all run through the default Apple mail client.
    up until a week ago all was fine..now I can only receive emails on all accounts not send them..have checked smtp settings and renewed permissions but nothing sends...just the cog spinning and eventually fails the send..All accounts work fine on my iphone using the same router..
    Now if I take my laptop to my mates house it all works fine!! we both use BT infinity home hub 3 routers..and yes all its settings are the same as default..
    Any ideas guys??

    I have experienced the same problems. I could receive but not send email through a third party email. Our ISP is BT and it would appear even though they wont admit it that they have changed some peoples settings.
    I spoke with my email provider 123-reg and they asked me to check my ISP and then check the SPAMHAUS and our ISP has been Blocklisted. I called BT and they wouldnt answer why this had happened.
    To cut a long story short I have had to pay BT £30 (not happy) to resolve the problem. They set my SMTP details as mail.btinternet.com and i had to authenticate this by logging into a BT/Yahoo email account that we never use., go to options then mail options then mail accounts and add details for the account your having problems with. You should then receive an email link on your third party email address.
    I have actually complained to OFCOM about this as I dont believe that I should have to pay to rectify a problem that I havent caused. All BT would say is that they fixed the problem and I have to pay the £30. they wouldnt answer why I couldnt send emails prior to this fix. I asked why I now have to have the SMTP as mail.btinternet.com and again they couldnt answer this.

    problems receiving IMAP mail

    What problem? I have no problem with mail and Mavericks, but I just upgraded my wife's 2012 MBP to Mavericks. Now she doens't get mail as frequently as before.  With perferences set to check either automatically or every five minutes, she gets mail that is several hours old.  She's using IMAP (@icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com).

    From time to time, often when I'm on a trip or just back from one I have a problem with my incoming mail server password.

    Select the account and check the box marked Enable this account in the Account Information tab.

  • Mail Delivery Problems ... Out of Nowhere!

    As of this morning when I send email (some not all) I get a message back saying ...
    *The original message was received at Mon, 29 Nov 2010 10:05:56 -0800*
    *from omta003 [127.0.0.1] ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ---- (reason: 550 No such user - psmtp)*
    yet the people I'm emailing are receiving the email. Does anyone know what's going on??? These are addresses that I've used before and have never seen this happen.

    I called my email provider and when they sent they didn't get a responce coming back ... so the theory is that somehow within mac mail when I type in the new email address its still connecting to the old.
    See she used to have one email address and now has got a new one and cancelled the old one, yet when I send to the new one it seems to send the email through but it sends a transcript back to me saying it didn't go through. I think something within mail is connecting to the old address - what can I do to insure there is no trace of that old addess? I deleted it from my address book but I see it still shows up in mail.

    has anyone else gotten a "problem during delivery processing" message with each outgoing message? it just randomly started happening to me this morning.  it says my message was sent but the reason:  Error in sieve filter: Notify mailto: recipient is not a valid address
    one comes from postmaster@mac and one comes from Internet Mail Delivery....

    My Wife and I both have an Ipad and an iPhone, I use an iMac and my wife a MacBook Pro.
    I have this problem with all my devices.
    My wife has NOT got this problem.
    We both use a [email protected] email acount.
    Just compared the settings:
    For "Incoming server" I have p03-imap.mail.me.com
    My Wife has p02-imap.mail.me.com .... and has not got this problem.
    I have setup a new rule for incoming mails (for the meantime):
    move all incoming emails from [email protected] to trash and delete it.
    Works fine for now,......until APPLE deals with the problem.

  • Mail delivery error with 5510 e-print. updates and connection are ok. friend has same problem.

    I have checked all of the updates and connections for my new printer.  As far as I can tell, I've checked everything that needs to be checked and all is good.  But, I still get the Mail Delivery error when e-printing.  And my friend has the same problem with her new 5510 b111a.  What could possibly be the problem?  Regular printing, scanning and so on work fine with my wireless connection.

    So it sounds like it may be an Issue with the provided Email Address from your internet service provider, you are sending from ,
    What i would suggest as a test is to create a Email account either with g mail and or yahoo, and try to send the email to your eprint account/Email, and see if it accepts the email also, make sure you have your printer set to Accept email from all users you can do this by logging into Eprint Center and then going into these settings and selecting that option

  • Why, all of a sudden, can't I download documents from websites or e-mail attachments when I can do this on Internet Explorer without problems?

    When I try to download a spreadsheet, document, or other item from a website, using either run or save, everything freezes up and no download occurs. Or sometimes the item will download in a nonsense jumble of numbers and letters. The same thing happens when I try to download an e-mail attachment from someone. Thing is, I can do all these things from Internet Explorer without problems. This has only happened within the past couple of months. Before that, I had no problems . What's happening?
