Under Settings Cellular "use cellular data for" apps are missing from Iphone 4

After updating to IOS 7, my wife's iPhone 4 under the "use cellular data for" only has Passbook and System Services. My son's iphone 4 and my iPhone 4s DO HAVE this option avl. and show all our Apps.
Any ideas out there?

i had the same fright
The update takes a LONG time... but with the new system, you can keep using your phone during the update, so it doesnt FEEL like it is updating...
you have probably interrupted the update, just like I did
plug your phone in... "continue the update" or hit the sync button to psh it in... and leave it there
unless you have enabled sync over wifi (which still only works when you are plugged in)
just be patient... and there shouldbe a flashing "synching" symbol at the top of your phone screen

The Safari and Camera apps are missing from my iPhone.

I had a problem with restoring my purchased apps on my iPhone. With help I was able to get them restored. However, now the original apps are missing - camera and safari. It's possible there are more, but I can't remember all those that were original with the phone.

I would check your other apps folders and see if it was misplaced in there. IF you still can't find it, then go to settings - general - reset - reset home screen layout.

Downloaded app is missing from iPhone.

I downloaded an app from iTunes awhile back and when I went to look for it on my iPhone 4 today there was no icon for it. iTunes says that it has been downloaded. Can someone tell me how I can get the app and the icon back on the iPhone? Thanks.

One of two ways:
1. Sync your iPhone using iTunes on your computer. If the app is on iTunes on your computer, and you have not stopped it from syncing to the iPhone, it should reappear.
2. Open the App Store on your iPhone. Click "Updates" in the lower right, then "Purchased" on top. Find the app there and download it again.

Apps are missing from start menu app and app storage

My apps are completely missing from my menu and storage. I tried searching them but it won't show them to me and I tried downloading some apps like microsoft mail and msn weather. I tried searching for those and they are nowhere to be found. Please help.

Re-load OS and serial numbers for apps are missing

I had to reinstall my OS and it seems all my applications are asking for my serial numbers. I unfortunately installed and put my previous system in a separate folder. I moved all my programs back but I suppose the serial numbers are stored in Library somewhere. Any help?
I finally got my email back running again and think I have recovered all of my emails, although all of my sent emails are someplace else. I think it may have put them in the junk folder. I also have about 10 or 12 blank emails that have the date my email was down but although I highlight them and say to trash they are still showing up in same place. But now if I highlight one the button says undelete. This seems strange.

How come some of the apps are missing from the Adobe Application Manager.

When I downloaded the AAM for cloud it only gave 14 apps instead of the 26 apps to install. What do I need to do to see all of the apps? I have windows 7.

Branched this out to a new discussion. If you have programs missing it is likely that your computer does not meet the system requirements for that particular application. For example if you are running a 32-bit operating system you will not be given the option to install After Effects or Premiere Pro since they require a 64-bit OS.

Use Mobile Data For: Settings - Why does Settings need a cellular data connection?

Just curious, why does the iPhone need this turned on? Why does the settings app need a cellular mobile data connection?
If you turn it off, you're pestered to turn it on every time you go into settings?

Because, that's the way Siri works...it needs an Internet connection...requests are sent to Apple's servers. No Internet, no Siri.

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Appel logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not work, did you try to switch off Cellular Data, restart the phone and switch it back on again?

HT1688 iPhone 5S, Settings Cellular Use Cellular Data For Apps - Not Updating

I have iPhone 5S iOS 7.0.4 with AT&T Contractual Plan.
When I change any settings in Settings > Cellular > Use Cellular Data For to disable or enable apps to use cellular data. And, if I exit and enter again it shows the old settings.
Also Call Time > Current Period is not updating.
This is happening for last one week. I have also noticed heavy cellular data usage for last one week.
I have reset the phone as a new phone this it is solved, but if I restore from my backup, then the problem is returning again. Even I have deleted some apps, but it doesnot help.
Please help me to solve this.

Also, I think I have closed an app by double clicking the home button, then swiping the app up - is this the way to close it, or will it still be sending/receiving data?

Go into your Settings : General : and turn off background refresh for your apps. In Settings : Mail turn Fetch new data to OFF and Load Remote Images to OFF. This will mean that Mail will only check for messages when you actually use it, and all your advertising junk mail won't have all the images in it.
Turn off push notifications every chance you get.
Make sure you are actually quitting apps: to quit apps press the Home button twice and you should see a bunch of smaller screen images for every open app. To quit the app swipe from the screen image (not the icon) upward off the top of the iPad. You can swipe left and right to see more open apps, but there must be no left-right movement on the screen when you swipe upward to close the app.
Turn off your internet connection when you do not need it. The easiest way to do this is to swipe up from the bottom of you screen to get the control centre, and then touch the airplane to turn on airplane mode. You can repeat this sequence to turn it back on again when you need it. Most especially turn airplane mode on whenever you are sleeping your iPad for long periods. This will save battery life too. OR actually turn your iPad off - which means holding the power key down for several seconds until the red swipe bar appears, and then swipe to turn it off. If you go this route, note that it will take longer to turn on then it takes to wake from sleep.
