Vendor code creation with HR data

Hi,
Is there any way to get vendor code created automatically, while creating the HR data (Personnel No.)? Because the same details we are using except Recon.Account.
Regards
Prakash.

Hi Prakash,
Use transaction code PRAA.

  • New Tax Code Creation with CST and Service Tax

    Hi
I want to know the complete procedure of new tax code creation with CST and Service Tax. I want to know the steps for calculation of % of that Tax Code.
    Kindly help me out.
    Thanks
    Kshipra G

    Hi Expert,
Before creating a Tax Code, Create two Condition Types(T-Code: OBYZ) for CST and Service Tax, which need to Select the below Items
    Cond. class -  D - Taxes
    Calculat.type -  A - Percentage
    Cond.category - D - Tax
and while creating a Tax Procedure just select the Condition Type of CST and Service Tax and provide the Account Key for both Condition Types.
Assign the GL Accounts to the Account Keys in T-Code: OB40.
Create a Tax Code in T-Code: FTXP, which is to be assigned in T-Code: FV11.
Maintain the percentage in T-Code: FV11, with your Key Combination and
Try this procedure, which will help you...

  • Material  Creation with Classification Data

    Hi friends,
    I am technical guy,
I need to know how to create material(MM01)  with classification data,
if i want fetch data , where i will find that data ( means which tables).
    Thanks in Advance,
    regards,
    Bhaksar

    HI Bhaskar,
I will explain you a scenario, where you will be able to understand the relation.
Consider i am manufacturing a two wheeler, which has the material number but with various colours say Red and Blue.
In this case during my SD process, in the sales order, i need to mention the material number also with the colour as Red in the batch field in order to make the process more specific.
In order to cater this need, i need to activate batch managment for that material in the purchasing view and also opening the classification view in the Material master with the batch class as 001 _ Material Class.
Now my work will not get completed without maintaining a batch master for the same. Ie i have to ensure a batchmaster for the material using tcode MSC1N, with batch as colour, Material code, Plant and storage location also if split valuation is activated, we need to mention the valuation type too.
Hope i had thrown some lights over the topic enquired.
    Regards,
    RitiG

  • Manual WSDL creation with Complex data types

I'm trying to manually generate a WSDL, for a bpel workflow, so the wsdl constructs do not come from a Java class file, or any of the other normal ways you might generate a WSDL.
I have successfully created a Definition object from the WSDLFactory, with the code shown below, that appears to be correct, based on reverse engineering of a WS compliant WSDL. The reversed engineered WSDL was created by IONA Artix.
When I use file WSDLFactoryImpl.WSDLWriterImpl.writeWSDL() to write the WSDL file I get the wsdl:types and wsdl:service definition objectsin the file, but not the wsdl:message, wsdl:portType or wsdl:binding objects.
The reverse engineered WSDL file has been imported into objects via WSDLReaderImpl, and the resulting Definition object appears correct (based on all system.outs). This definition can be successfully written to file via the same WSDLFactoryImpl.WSDLWriterImpl.writeWSDL(). which results in a correct WSDL file.
I'm hoping someone can spot my problem.

This is kind of weird because you explicitly define them thru API calls, and this call seems redundant.

  • Vendor master creation with Street1, Street2, email ids

    Hi friends,
Here, I am trying to upload the data of Vendor Master. I tried creating the LSMW or BDC method, in both the cases, I could not upload the Street2, stree3, ..etc. some of the details. While executing the transaction XK01, we have that option to enter those details, but while doing the recording method, it is not appearing, as well as in the Standard method also. How can I attack this problem...! If any one faced the same please suggest.
    -Sarasijasri

    Hi sarasijasri ,
I had faced the same problem, pls find the solution below.
    while doing recording for XK01.
in the first screen of recording you will get an option as "USE CENTRAL ADDRESS MANAGEMENT " pls select that and click on enter in the next screen you will get the required fields as you mentioned.

  • Task Creation with Userdefined Data

How can we create a task with user defined property values??

    HI Bhaskar,
I will explain you a scenario, where you will be able to understand the relation.

  • Capturing only the first vendor code (not all) associated with user

    Hi All
I have several tables that helps me try to capture the unique number of vendors that are active from the users table as shown below in the SQL script. However, ther is an exception where users may be associated with multiple vendors. I feel that my script captures all associated vendor codes associated with my users. Is there a way of capturing only the first vendor code associated with the user. Thanks for your help.
    Gautam
    SQL SCRIPT:
    select count(distinct(d.vendor_id))
    from SSPE.PG_FORM_SUBMIT a, SSPE.SP_USER_AUX b, sspe.pg_supplier_vendor d
    where a.SOURCENAME = 'wvInventoryForecast' and
    a.PROFILEID = b.ID and
    b.SUPPLIER_ID = d.supplier_id and
    a.CLOCKTIME between to_date('15-Mar-06','DD-MON-YY') and to_date('04-Apr-06','DD-MON-YY')

you need to have a common criteria to determine which vendor should be selected for an user, if it is by lowest vendor code or if it is the first entered vendor in which case you should have a date (or someother) column to identify which vendor was first associated with the user. In either case you could use the analytic function row_number() to accomplish what you want to do. here is an example
    select * from (
    select user_id, row_number() over (partition by user_id order by vendor_cd) rn, vendor_cd
    from user_table, vendor_table
    where <condition>)
    where rn=1;
refer online docs for more details on this function (link provided in my earlier post)

  • City code creation in Production

    Hi,
One of the requirement from our Sales and Distribution is to make the City code creation as master data in production.
During the feasibility checks I found that it is now being done through view V_T005G and then following the TMS (D to P).
Before I try to customize this, is there a standard tcode/way to maintain the city code creation directly in Production?
How it is being done in other cases?
What is recommended and what will be the impact if we make it as master data?
Thanks in advance, have a good day.
    Regards,
    Nick Loy

No it is not possible to key in directly in production.  As and when you create a new City Code, a transport request would be generated which would then be moved to QA and PRD.  Still if you want desperately this data to be maintained without any transport request, then create a zee table and validate this field CITYC value with 4 numeric length.  As and when users create data here, in the background, system should update the standard table T005G.  But there is a risk involved in giving authorization to create without any transport request.

  • Vendor Code Change Issue

    Hi. Guru!!
I am looking for your help and materials related to Vendor code or Material code change.
The client decided to change vendor code and some material code when he did MDM project, Master Data Management. For example, XYZ123 vendor will be 123456, newly defined sequential code. ABC and ABD material will be ABZ. (There are several change rules (1:1, N:1..) on material code change.)
    1) I think it need to change a lot of MM master data - vendor master itself, info record, source list, etc.
    2) Also, transaction data affected by vendor code or material code such as PR and PO need to be changed.
    3) In other related module, there may be lots of changes or migration to adapt a new vendor code. Especially in data related to business analysis - vendor evaluation, A/P, etc... -.
Please let me get useful materials such as checklist, impact analysis document or your experience of similar projects in SAP MM Module.

    dear  Lee
1.) you can call abapers to write a logic for changing vendor code ..
2.) you can upload that data using BCD , this is also abapers job..
3.) you can also export the data in excel and than make changes ( as you can asigen number in sequance esaly ) , than ask abaper to upload that data
    hope this will help you
    Reward points if helpful

  • Unable to make Postal code as required field in Vendor master creation

    Hi,
We have a requirement of making Postal code (POST_CODE1) field under street address of new vendor master creation/change as a required field.
In the configuration settings of vendor account group (OBD3), SAP provided Postal code City combined as only one field.
Even after making the Postal code&City field as required in the configuration of a particular Vendor group (OBD3), the system is allowing to create new vendor master under that particular group with out the input of Postal code.
The system only making the city (CITY1) as required filed but not the Postal code (POST_CODE1) even after setting Postal code&City field as required in OBD3.
Could you please provide  the activities to be performed apart from the above so as to make Postal code as required filed at the time of the vendor master creation/change
    Regards
    Mani Prasad

Yes, it is country specific. It will affect in vendor masters as well Customer masters.
You have two options now :
Create a Transaction variant using SHD0 and Make Postal code field as required and create a custom transaction code in SE93 (Transaction with Variant (Variant transaction) and assign here and save. Your requirement will be fulfilled.
Else you can go for Enhancement using EXIT_SAPMF02K_001 Vendors: User Exit for Checks prior to Saving
The following user exits exist for vendor master records:
o   Check entered data before saving
Please refer to the interface description of the function module to see which data is available.
If we found any other solution we will let you know the same.
