Very Urgent - Problem in showing JPopupMenu using 1.4 plugin

Hello ,
I have a very different problem with JPopupMenu. I have developed a new PopupMenu extending the MetalComboPopup used by the MetalComboBoxUI. I have registered with the JPopupMenu for the callback methods popupMenuWillBecomeVisible && Invisible(). I have an applet which instantiates (3 instances) my JComboBox. When I run the applet using the JDK1.4 plugin, when I click the second JComboBox, the first and the second JComboBox's popups appear at the same time. I am unable to suppress the popup (i.e Only one popup should appear at a time).
Can anybody help me out in this issue.

Did you try changing the driver then?
Please use Oracle's thin driver instead of the oci driver.
There are many advantages of using the type 4 driver. the first and foremost being that it does not require oracle client side software on your machine. Therefore no enteries to be made in tnsnames.ora
The thin driver is available in a jar called classes112.zip the class which implements the thin driver is oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
the connection string is
jdbc:oracle:thin:@<machine name>:1521:<sid>
please try out with the thin driver and let me know.

Very Urgent - Problem with Table MSEG

Hi All,
I wanted to add customer fields to MSEG Table. So I created a Structure ZISU with 4 fields and appended that to the table with Append Structure name ZExtensionin name.
Now when I deleted one field from the structure and wanted to activate it. But it should an SQL Error while activation.
So I mistakenly deleted the ZExtensionin from MSEG Table. It displayed that it is deleted but it is still visible in MSEG with the fields.
Due to this, both structure ZISU and table MSEG are been shown as "Partially Active".
What shall I do now to make everything fine ?
Its very urgent. Please help me....

Very Urgent Unable to Launch Application using Web Start using JDK 1.4.2

Hi all
I am very serious issue i have ejb client swing application that uses
RMI to contact a session bean deployed in JBoss now i want the client app to be installed in the client machine using web start . Also i understand i require security permission to access network resources. so i have signed all the JAR files with same certificate created using self certificate avialiable in JDK by default also in the JNLP file in have included the following tag
<security>
<all-permissions/>
</security>
Now when I launch my application using Web start it gives an error that " Unsigned application is trying to access local resources"
I unable to understand what could be the problem . Please help me with the steps to be followed where in client should be able to RMI call to the server

You may have tried this already, but you might have to sign the jars via command line, outside any export process from your IDE.
$ jarsigner {filename}.jar {key from keystore}

VERY URGENT: problem in sql query with long datatype in weblogic

I have a problem while tryind to retrieve a column value with a long datatype using servlet and oci driver and the server is weblogic5.1 .I have used prepared statement the problem comes in the
preparedStatement.executeQuery().
The sql Query is simple query and runs well in all cases and fails only when the long datatype column is included in the query.
The exception that comes on the weblogic server is that :
AN UNEXPECTED EXCEPTION DETECTED IN THE NATIVE CODE OUTSIDE THE VM.

Very urgent : Problem in currency field while downloading file from excel.

I downloaded a excel file to my ABAP program.It contains a currency field which has comma in it. When i do operations on the currency field it says unable to interpret the number.Can anybody help me on this.

Try this. In ur excel right click on that column wher u have the currency, go to format cells and there uncheck the box which shows 'Show tousands (,) seperator).That shud solve the problem.

Very urgent : Problem with field attributes in Datasource

Hi
I am getting a problem with field attributes in the datasource.
The issue came up after i modified the extract structure-i modified one field and
added one field to the structure.Now those two fields are not visible in BW.
When i checked with transaction rsa2, i could find that for those two fields , the
field attribute is 'A' which is 'Field in OLTP and BW Hidden by SAP'.
I tried to modify the field attribute to make it visible.Now the issue is that it is not getting reflected after transport in the Q system.What can be the issue.In the Q system its still the old value 'A' ,which makes the fields invisible.
Please let me know what can be the issue.

did you change this attribute via RSA2?
you need to change your datasource via postprocessing (RSA6); then transport your DS to your Q source system.
Replicate your datasources in your BW.
Finally modifiy your Transfer Structure by editing your TRules ( tab Datasource/Tran structure), move your new fields from the right frame to the left frame)
Maintain your TRules
Activate

Very Strange Problem TV Shows Disappearing from iPod

I have been buying TV shows for awhile. Then I started purchasing "HEROES" one episode at time. They are on my iTunes but the keep disappearing from my iPod if I have watched them. None of the other TV shows are behaving this way. I am perplexed. I don't even know where to begin to look. It is only one show out of many. HELP

Urgent problems with image viewing on my 20 inch Cinema display???

I have a very urgent problem concerning my Apple Cinema 20 inch Display and my SpyderPro2 on my Mac Pro Intel Dual Core Xeon 2x 2.66GHz.
I have been using the Spyder for some years now, but recently I have been having big problems with the results.
I have a major contract with a jewellery company in London, where I clean up digital photos. Images that I have lightened up to look great on my Cinema Display have been reported by my client to look pretty dark on their PC's in their offices.
Some of these images show lines and grubby patches??? To check this I opened files in Photoshop and moved the levels 'black' slider down quite some way, and did see evidence of what the client could see at their end? It seems that when I have used a faded eraser brush it leaves a light patch in between the shadows of the jewellery. This shouldn't be visible to the naked eye though?
I must point out that when I use the eyedropper tool on images, to read the amount of grey or colour in the white areas around the peices, I am shown values of 1,2 or 4 maximum in the CMYK values. 4 percent out of 100 is nothing and should not be visible to the naked eye?
How is it that my clients PC's can see dark shadows and where my eraser brush has rubbed out???
I have tried many re-calibrations and also tested all of my older calibrations dating back a few years. I have also tested the same faulty images on Intel iMac's, an eMac, and a few PC's. On the iMac's I can just about make out the artefacts that my client can see, but nothing that I would deem as unacceptable.
I am at a loss as to the fault, but It may be the Spyder2 Pro's inability to calibrate my Apple Cinema display properly? I may lose my contract which I cannot afford to do, and I simply have to find the cause ASAP.
I have my Mac's in my office apartment next to two bay windows. I have vertical blinds there. When calibrating I have always turned off all the lights and pulled the blinds right back so that only the light from the two large window doors is coming in.
For graphic design the calibrations seemed to be okay for quite some time, but recently it is getting harder to achieve good results with the Spyder? This could affect all of my workflow which is very serious. But I must stress that overall the Spyder results are not terrible. I can see good colours and dark levels and in general across all of my calibrated profiles, the jewellery looks acceptable on my Cinema Display?
I did say to my clients that they should calibrate their PC screen properly but their offices have many Screens and they all show the same artefacts (some much worse than others)? I know that PC Screens are darker than Mac's but a 4% grey should not be visible????
As these are a web company the images will be seen by PC users around the world and most of these will have no calibration on their screens. What can be done to prevent this and what is the cause of this? I can't possible please everyone, but as a creative professional I have to be 100% certain that my workflow is at its best.
I need urgent help to solve this or loose valuable business? I hope that you are able to help solve this mystery.
I have just purchased the new Spyder3 Pro which I hope will give perfect results but I have to find out what the cause of this is. If some of the fault lies with the client, I can charge these for all the testing and calibrating I have done.

One thing you might want to try adjusting is the gamma setting in Displays Preferences color calibration area. Macs typically are set at 1.8 but PCs will often use 2.2. That could account for the difference.

I have configured the payment advice and assigned the variant to run upon the payment program to print the payment advice. but the log of the payment shows me the "payment medium created in the format"
Abap/4 processor error: "Call_function_parm_missing"
I think am missing some configuration. Can any body provide me how to check the configuratio and what is the necessary configuration to be done for payment advice print and we are not using the check print option.
"Requirement is when the payment run is done it should print the payment advice also"

VERY URGENT!! How to Pass a "% " symbol from form to Report

I am using oracle 10g and passing a symbol "%" as a parameter to the report from a form. But it shows error as follows:
REP-52006: Failed to decode the specified URL PARAMETER1=%.
But it is working when it runs in the Report directly.
Then Why we can't pass the symbol "%" to the report from form.
Please reply me as soon as possible. IT IS VERY URGENT !!

hi,
you could create print preview or test the form in the form painter itself.
for automatic triggering of your output you should configure the output using the tcode NACE.
Easier way would be inform your Functional Guy to configure the output determination inorder to trigger the printing of your form.

*URGENT* Problem in SOP

We created a planningtype based on an underlying infostructure. (trx MC8A)
The problem we now have is that some numbers that we see in the infostructure table (using trx SE16), do not appear in the planningtype with trx MC94/MC95.
How is this possible??

VERY URGENT: Msync not synching

Hi,
I have a very urgent problem with MSync. I am able to do the initial synchronisation of my db onto the client and can see the table data on the client with MSql.
However if I do any changes to data in either the server or the client then they are not being synchronised by MSync.
MGP and Webtogo are running and there are no errors.
I started by creating an empty package with wtgpack and added remote and local tables using the Consolidator API from Java. All this has worked before but when I went to test it yesterday it would not do updates with MSync.
Help, please.

I have now done dozens of tests to try to fix this
problem. I simplified the Consolidator code so that it
is only doing 1 local table and none from the remote
db's.
Also, I am now running the consolidator_rmt script every
time the consolidator Java has been run and there has
been a slight improvement.
I am now able to make data changes on the server and see
them sync to the clients but this is only a local db table
and using consolidator_rmt should not have made any
difference.
Has anyone else had similar sync problems ?

I want to create a routing using BAPI. I tried using BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE, it is creating operations without any problem.
But when I want to assign an Operation/Activity to a Component through New Assignment in Component Allocation through BAPI, it is not assigning.
Please let me know what fields should be passed to the Component Allocation Table in the BAPI.
Please help me as it is very URGENT.

Hi,
The componenet allocation will take automatically if you have the BOM created for the Material for which you are creating the Routing.
It will not add the new components.
i too tried but lot of problems with this BAPI.
I prefered recording.
