If they are camera roll photos (e.g. taken with the iPad, saved from emails/websites, copied via the camera connection kit) and weren't originally synced from a computer to your iPad, then you shouldn't need anything extra on your computer to copy them off : Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support
If they were originally synced from a computer and you want to copy them back to your computer then there are third-party apps such as Simple Transfer Pro which can copy them via your wifi network - but photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to a device, so any that you copy back may not look exactly the same (e.g. dimensions, colouts, sharpness) as they originally did on your computer.

Hi,
My name is Norbert. I am having some difficulties restoring my icloud back up. My ipad was doing an icloud back up and the alert message displayed on the ipad after my internet was interrupted "A wi-fi connection is required to download your apps and media".
I got the internet working, my ipad is receiving internet network but the alert message is still displayed on the ipad and won't go away, to make matters worse the ipad is frozen and i can't do anything.
Please can anyone with a similar experience tell me what to do in this situation?

Have you tried a hard restart. Press the on/off button and homescreen buttons together until the device shuts down. -
What is the best online storage for photos. Specifically one that allows the original image quality to be downloaded should your hard storage goes belly up
I'd put them on an external hard drive(s) and burn them to a DVD as well (at least 2 - 3 copies on different drives/media); I prefer having control and a local solution instead of relying on a server and the possibility of someone (who shouldn't be) downloading my work.

Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it

Why everytime when i try to download iTunes it says " there is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be wrong". What should i do to download it?
Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:

Hello, if your install disk is locked (I assume with FileVault) there is no way to change the password. If it weren't locked there were at least two solutions. As far as I know, the only solutions now are:
- contact your dad
- erase and reinstall the OS X clean

Netflix recommend a minimum connection speed of 0.5 Mbps, however at that speed many of the other features of the Apple TV will be painfully slow. -

When I select a photo to print from I Photo the following msg appears " There were no themes located. Until at least one theme has been installed, this feature will be unavailable " What procedure is required to install a theme to print photos?
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List. -
