When did a cluster last failover?

Im need to use T-sql to check when a sql instance was last failed over to the other node in a two node cluster?
Is this possible?
Does a SQL instance have to restart when its failed over or does it transition seamlessly?

If you only want to find the failover and nothing else then you can edit the first script:
EXEC master.dbo.xp_readerrorlog 2, 1
2stands
for errorlog file number and you can go up to 6 errorlogs. That is like past 7 fail overs/SQL restarts.
Hope you are not cycling the
error log.

Users getting disconnected when the sap cluster group failover happens.

Hello all,
We have done the HA installation on mysaperp2005(ecc6.0).
The failover groups are sapcluster group(ascs+scs instance) and the Database(DB group).The central and the dialog instances are installed locally and do not form the part of the cluster.
When ever the sapcluster group failover to the second node.The users gets disconnected and need to login again.
How can we configure the nodes so that the users do not get disconnected during the failover of the sap groups and the users are not disturbed.

Hi Satyajit,
This is exactly the reason why it is called High Availability and not Full Availability.
When the node where Database runs fails, the memory structure (Instance) associated with the Database is lost and needs to be restarted on the other node. This means that all the transactions which have not been commited to the database needs to be rolled back. Hence the users doing insert/updates into the database will be disconnected from the System.
While the database is unavailable the Work processes go into a restart mode wherein they wait for the DB to come up again and keep pining it.
Database becomes available again after the Instance is started on the other node with Instance recovery and the users can connect back. Work processes recognize that the database is available and everything is back to normal.
In case of Central Instance (enqueue) failover, the lock information is lost and hence again the transactions need to be rolled back hence the users will be disconnected if they are doing an Insert/Update into the System. System becomes available once the Enqueue service is made available again after the failover.
So in either case there will be user disconnects as HA doesnot cover the memory structure failovers.

The problem appears to be caused by having the Cool Iris add-on attached to Firefox. I have removed Cool Iris and the problem has gone! I also note that there is now a 'fix' to the Cool iris add-on available for this specific problem

Configure Solaris cluster to failover guest domain when NICs were down

Hi,
I am running Solaris 11 as the control domains on 2 clustered nodes running on Solaris Cluster 4. There is a Solaris 10 guest domain which is managed via the Solaris cluster in failover mode.
2 virtual switches connected to 2 different network switches are presented to the guest domain. I would like to use link based IPMP to facilitate HA for the network connections. I understand that in this case the IPMP can only be configured within the guest domain. Now the question is how do I configure it in such a way that the guest domain fails over to the second cluster node (standby control domain) if both network interfaces are down? Thanks.

Generally speaking, a summary page, document summary or document properties page is often generated based on a setting in the software application being used as opposed to the printer driver or menu setting. For example, in MS Word you can select to print this page with each printed document. In this case, depending on your version of Word, you can enable/disable the feature often in "Word Options", "Display", "Printing Options", "Print Document Properties".
Does this help? If not, which printer model and software application is being used when the summary is printed?

I purhased a broadband package with BT which included BT sport and a £40 gift voucher for Sainsbury's. I was advised my expected install date was 13th August 2013. on Sunday 11th August 2013 I received an email to advise me that a phone line engineer will be with me on the 12th between 1-6pm, i then received a seperate text message to advise a phone line engineer will be with me 13th August between 8am-1pm.
As this was conflicting information i thought it would be best to call the helpdesk, the lady i spoke to told me this must have been an error and the correct appointment is for the 13th August.
WELL GUESS WHAT??
A phone line engineer turned up at my property at around 11am on the 12th. He called me and spoke to me about what needed to be done and luckily as a phone line was already installed he was able to do the work from the exchange. As a courtesy he asked could i call and cancel the engineer that was due to show at the property the following day, I obliged and called BT to cancel the phone line engineer (WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS!!).
The call lasted for over an hour and the centre agent i spoke to did not understand a word i said to him and i didnt understand him either!! (When did British Telecoms become Bangladeshi Telecoms), Because of this rather than the engineer being cancelled my actual order has subsequently been cancelled instead.
After seeing this i was extremely irate as you could imagine! I decided to call again to double check this and was advised this was incorrect and it hadnt been cancelled.
Eveytime I try to call to speak to someone about this I clearly get someone on the other end of the line who is reaing form a script and hasnt got the best grasp of English, to this i ask "do BT have any call centres in Britain except sales?"
To the morning of the 13th August and I receive a phone call (again not from England) to ask about the service and if it was working?

I am very aware of how complaints procedures should be dealt with and what information should be accessible to customers, an email address is absoultely one of those.
BT are very clever with their complaints procedure, we are all advised everything is accessible from the online webpage, when selecting complaints you are given the option to write or call. Again incorrect, the forms of making a complaint should be telephone, fax, email & letter.
So i have made a compaint using these and i will also be following this up with the Ombudsman.
What really bothered me was that (as a test) i called the sales team a number of times to pretend i was interested in a package, average wait time no more than 30 seconds.
What this says to me is BT are happy to take the money of new customers as they know they are under contract so payments will be made, any existing BT customer just gets palmed away by a call centre that is based over 8000 miles away.
As i made all of these calls whilst at work a number of collegues were eager to assist, one finding me the email address for the CEO, Ian Livingston who will be receiving an email, as well as the twitter page which can also expect a post from me.

I'm also having problems with BT and empathise with you. I will lose all my emails from 16th September as cannot sort everything I do on-line within a month.
I do hope you can get some resolution. The fact they can still use the word "British" in their title needs to be reviewed as it suggests "all things good and quality". The 49 minute call I had tonight has left me feeling so ill and upset that I can't believe it was BT. Good Luck.

Query to find when the given schema last refreshed ?

I need to find out the given database schema, when did last get refresh using impdp or import or SQL Loader?

If schema refresh is carried out by dropping schema then Created column in DBA_USERS will show your answer.
Else if its carried out by dropping the tables, then you can check the created and last_ddl_time in DBA_OBJECTS

There may be an easier way but if you are trying to get info on something that has already happened look at your redo logs and archived logs. It would be hard but in V$LOGMNR_CONTENTS you could find the max time for a given object. Note to use this you need to set up log miner. Since you did not give a version try the Oracle 9i DBA Guide pg 9-1.

What type of file are those fax documents? Are they PDF files? What are you using to open them with--Acrobat or Reader?
And, what happens when you try to open them? Do you get an error message? If so, what is it?

[SOLVED]When did minidlna commands change to minidlnad?

Now when I run
sudo minidlna -R
I get a
sudo: minidlna : Command not found
Using sudo minidlnad -R works. When did this change ? I did notice the upgrade of minidlna last week
Also minidlna would fail to start even when I did a
sudo systemctl start minidlna
I found that this was because the minidlna.service file was pointing to a different PIDFile in the Execstart and the PIDFile element

Since you can see it in your device list it must have Find My Mac activated, but you're going to have to wait for them to take it online in order to either locate, lock or wipe it. Until it goes online you can't do anything. http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/find-my-device/

Is there a way to check when was my phone last used?

My apologies for the very unusual question.
My question is simply to know if there is a way to find out when was my phone last tuned on or used.
Basically i left my business at a place with a lot sensitive work data and i have a great feeling that it has been accessesed. So if anyone can help me if there is an App or a service that would allow me to find out the time stamp of the time and date of the access or even better which apps were accessed.

While this is not all you are asking for and may not be helpful, in Settings > General > Usage, you can find the number of hours since the last charge, and how how much of that time was standby. Total minus standby should be the total time someone was using it since its last full charge.
I do not know of any built-in function, however, to show all of what you are asking for.
