Why are there pending messages that can't be consumed?

Hi all,
I am using Glassfish with a self made monitoring/stress-testing application.
In this app I can define consumers and producers, so I can somehow see the behavior of the system under many different conditions.
But something odd is happening: there are always 1000~2500 messages that I can see that they are there but I can't consume them. I have checked in my admin console and they are shown in the
"Number of Messages Pending Acknowledgment - Current number of messages being held in memory and persistent store pending acknowledgment".
Why they are pending acknowledgment? I sent them in the same way I did all others, and they all worked.
I found this link, they are all having similar problems, but they are using ActiveMQ. http://fusesource.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=1060
Could anyone help me to find out why this can be happening?
Edit: Could it be that the acknowledgement of a consumer is not getting back to the queue and the queue is reserving the message to that consumer, so nobody else can consume it?

Thanks you both for the answer. I just figure it out with help of your replies: I was using many threads to consume the messages, but these threads were sharing the same "MessageConsumer" object, what was causing the pending messages. Once I changed to have one MessageConsumer per thread, it worked.

The iPod touch has a very rudimentary camera. It has only a 0.6 MP resolution, no optical zoom, no flash, etc. There is no app that can improve this as it is limited by the hardware. So it is not a replacement for a digital camera (nor even for an iPhone whose camera has a 5.0 MP resolution.

My iphone 4s is charged and I can tell that its on but my screen remains black. Are there any tips that can help before taking it in to the apple store?

I've already tried turning it on and off as well as pressing the sleep/wake and home button together to restart but nothing has happened :/
This is also the second time its happened to my phone as well, the first time it miraculously turned on by itself after an hour

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.

Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.

Are there additional Titles that can be downloaded?

Coming from the Sony movie studio, I'm sorely dissapointed at the quality & quantity of titles.
Has anyone made any additional ones that can be downloaded & used?
For example: I'm using the 'extreme_lower3rd_hd' title found under 'HD Templates'.
It's an OK title, however I would like to see the graphic portion in another color (red or green). Is there anyway to change this?

I know that there are addition PrE Menu Sets, available for a paid subscription, or for sale individually for a fee, from Muvipix.com.
I do not recall seeing any Title Templates there, but might have missed them?
I also do not recall seeing any additional Title Templates on any other Web sites.
Premiere (both Elements & Pro) use the .PRTL (Title Template) format, so can only be used in Premiere. I know of no other programs, such as Photoshop, Painter, PaintShop Pro, etc., that can Open and edit .PRTL files - only Premiere.
Now, one CAN create titles in other programs, to be used as Still Images in Premiere, BUT to make changes to those, one needs to take them back into the creating program, or similar, and the Titler/Title Editor in Premiere cannot edit them, though there ARE things that can be done, such as creating a Title, in Titler, to overlay the title with say new elements (Shapes for instance), or additional Text, but that is all that can be done in Premiere.
Maybe others will know of sources for .PRTL files, but I have not found them.

Why are my text messages that i am sending going thru as emails now and recipient does not receive?

I recently synced my I phone to install the recent upgrade. Nwhen I send a group text message, that I did previously with no problems, now some of my recipients do not receive. They are telling me that it looks like I am sending them an email.....????? I'm totally lost. I changed nothing on my phone other than doing the upgrade. Any advice???

Are there any services that can be removed for a smartphone line that hasn't been used since June of last year? I can't afford the $300 cancellation fee.

My son hasn't used his phone since he got his own service in June of last year, and it's just silly to continue paying for it. You might look into one of the services that helps match you up with a buyer that wants a phone and willing to take the contract with it (such as celltradeusa.com for instance). I am listing this site only as an example, there are others as well. Or alternatively find a friend or other family member who wants the phone and again willing to accept the contract with it. It is legal and allowed by Verizon (and other cell companies) to transfer the contract to another person.

Are there any plugins that allow photoshop elements to read DDS files?

I have multiple DDS files that I have been trying to open in Photoshop Elements 8, and a window comes up and says that it cannot open it because it is the "wrong type of file". I would like to know if there are any plugins I can download to fix this problem. It would also be helpful if the plugin could save the file in a DDS format, too. I had been using a trial of Photoshop CS6 and I had a plugin for that, and I recently found an old disc that had Photoshop Elements 8 on it that I downloaded. Back to the point, are there any plugins that can do this?

I don't know of any way, except perhaps by using an animated GIF or PNG as your wallpaper. I've never tried it, though.

You can't.
All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the Photo Library. The photos in the album or albums below are not duplicates - they include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. This way you can view the photos in a particular album only by selecting the album, or you can view all photos available in all albums by selecting Photo Library.
Just as with an iTunes playlist. A song cannot be in an iTunes playlist unless the song is in the main iTunes library. Placing a song in a playlist does not duplicate the song. Remove the main iTunes library or the songs from the main iTunes library that are in a playlist and the songs will no longer be in the playlist either. This way you can listen to the songs in the playlist only by selecting the playlist, or all songs in your entire iTunes library by selecting Music under Library in the iTunes source list.
The same with iPhoto on a Mac. A photo cannot be in an in iPhoto Event or Album unless the photo is in the main iPhoto library. Placing a photo in an Event or Album does not duplicate the photo. This way you can view the photos in an iPhoto Event or Album only by selecting the Event or Album, or all photos in all Events or Albums.

I do not think the Zeen will work if you no longer have the C510 printer. The printer is necessary to ensure the Zeen is up to date. The Zeen is simply not a standalone device, it is a component of the printer. I can not say this with certainty that it will not work, so it is worth trying to reset the Zeen to finding out for sure.
When you see this message, "must dock the Zeen to the printer to continue", can you access the settings using the 3rd icon above the touch screen? If so we can do a factory reset, if not there is no other way I can think of to bypass this message.
I just tried a reset on a Zeen I have access to, after the initialization, it prompts me to attach the Zeen to the printer to continue with product setup. it appears my original speculation was correct. No, you can not use the Zeen without the printer.

Those files should be being created in folders of the form:
<User's Music>\iTunes\Album Artwork\Cache|Download\<GUID>\<##>\<##>\<##>
The <GUID> in your case is 0CDB362F24AD473A...
If they are appearing anywhere else I would suspect a permissions problem. iTunes just spits them out where it can. Similar problems can sometimes cause it to drop files on the desktop.
Repair Permissions
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and system full control to this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.
Once you've repaired the permissions search for all files of the form *.itc2 in the music folder and delete them, then start iTunes. iTunes will rebuild the artwork cache in the correct location as you scroll through your library.

First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.
