0ORGUNIT Hierarchy and Not Assigned

Hello Everyone,
I am using 0ORGUNIT and the associated ORGEH hierarchy.
I execute my query with a date of 01/01/2006 - 12/31/2006 and the Org Unit hierarchy display always shows :
Organizational Unit
   Not Assigned Organizational Unit (s)
   1000            Division South
   1001            Division SouthEast
Why do I always get the 'Not Assigned Organizational Unit (s) displayed? Even if I change my date range it doesn't matter.
I did notice that if I go into RSD1 for 0ORGUNIT and maintain hierarchy the short description for this hierarchy is displayed in German. Could this be it? If so, how to translate?

I just realized it is the REST_H 'Not Assigned' node. I read the documentation on this, but still don't understand fully it's purpose or how to get rid of it.

You have deleted by mistake transformation in dev system which is currently avilable in QA?
if that is the case you can go for following two approches
1)If your development is cuurently in qa and transformation is not complex then you can create new in development and transport again
2)take help from Bais team see wheather they can trasport back to QA to development system.

0Orgunit(hierarchy) and authorization object display getcell error in Webi

Hello,
         We are facing with GetCellData error in WebI to SAP BEx Query.
         This works perfectly fine in Bex for a particular test user who has access to particular org unit value.
         But in Webi we are getting this Getcelldata error.
        Tried all the options and message as recommended in sdn group.
        mdxtest returns no value.
        looked at all below messages but no luck.

in the rsecadmin, we get the same error like mentioned in below message
Hierarchy Authorization doesn't work for MDX but works for BEx Query.
Is any authorization required for this user to execute and view the authorized values in Webi?
or we have to assign any authorization ?(0BI_ALL is not assigned).

follow the below procedure for auto number generation.
From SNRO create a custom no. range object. When creating it specify
Short, long text,Number length domain (Ex: NUM5) and Warning % (Ex:
10.0.).
After creating it maintain the intervals by clicking the button
Number Ranges from the 1st screen and in the next screen press
change intervals and then maintain the intervals (From number, To
number, Current no etc.).
Now u can use this no. range object with the FMs, those I mentioned
in my earlier reply.
You can maitain a number range object from tran. SNRO and can
fetch
the next available no. using the FM 'NUMBER_GET_NEXT'.
Also check the FMs below for further operations on number range.

Hierarchy showing not assigned in Bex report

Hi all,
I created an hierarchy on an infoobject, I included this infobject in a cube without populating the hierarchy infoobject in the cube (as I only need it for selection in the variable screen).
However the hierarchy is showing unassigned without relevant nodes; all the nodes are active in the H table.
how can I get the hierarchy to show in the variable screen or report?
please any suggestions on this?

In the Query Designer, you can restrict characteristics by hierarchy or by hierarchy node, on a fixed or variable basis.

Hi Anil,
Your query is built on an infoprovider, right? The way the hierarchy is displayed depends on TRANSACTION DATA IN INFOPROVIDER. To display the hierarchy normally you need to have in the provider not blank values of the characteristics you used in the query and not blank material code. Unassigned node means that this requirement doesn't met.
If would be much more useful if you describe what you have in the query and what - in the provider.

Product hierarchy is showing 'Not assigned Materials' in Bex Report

Dear Gurus,
I have loaded product hierarchy to 0material from 0PROD_HIER_LPRH_HIER successfully. In Bex report if i use product hierarchy nothing showing to me and it is showing message in one row like 'Not assigned Materials.
If i remove the Hierarchy i am able to see all materials in the report.
I have searched in sdn but i didnt get any help.Please help me in this issue.

Start by signing out and back in to see if it will see the subscription:

hi,
Is your heirarchy uploaded properly for 0Material ?? If yes juct check out if your transcational data is in sync with the hierarchy master ? If it is not then it wuill display as Not Assigned..

How to include the not assigned nodes in Hierarchy structure

I am running a report which has got Hierarchy variable type. After execution of the query some of the nodes appear always under "not assigned".
Please let me know is it possible to include these not assigned node under hierarchy structure.If so how to do that?

Hi Subbiah.
You can also supress the "not assigned" nodes in the hierarchy maintanence by choosing: Hierarchy attributes -> Supress unassigned nodes.

In the portal, For the value 00:00:00 (midnight) it displays '#' instead of 00:00:00. Is there a way around this?
Also in Javascript is it posible to change 'Not Assigned' to some other verbiage?

Not too sure how to fix your midnight issue but I have some javascript code that toggles the # or Not Assigned values and hides them by turning their text to the colour of the background. I have this attached as a context menu item of the column headings, but could be applied to any element with a bit of playing around.

Assignment field in FB03 is updated with a TM PO, and not the material PO

I am facing an issue.
Issue: The assignment field in accounting document generated during GR is updated with the TM PO number(Trade PO) and not the Material PO .
this happens while Posting goods receipt in VL32N tcode.
Please let me know what can be the issue.

Everytime we create a TM PO , the error occurs in account assignment the first time you do the Good issue.
If you reverse the document and repost the Good Issue it works the correct way

When I start Internet Sharing /etc/bootpd.plist is not created and the other device is not assigned an IP address.

Just like the tite says. I am investigating why my Macbook Pro (3,1) running Mountain Lion will not assign an IP address to a computer connected via Ethernet when Internet Sharing is turned on (laptop receiving WiFi connection, supposed to be sharing connection over ethernet). I tested using a relatives macbook and it worked just fine. It turns out my laptop is not creating the file: /etc/bootpd.plist when Internet Sharing is turned on.

Solved it, at least temporarily:
Investigate process binding port 67 with the following command:
sudo lsof -i 67
Close the offending process (in this case: bootps):
sudo /bin/launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/bootps.plist
Start internet sharing again from the system preferences panel

Iphoto keywords are not assigned and do not appear in the info.

Until recently I was able to very easily apply my own keywords to my photos. Now, when I go thru the same/similar proces of selecting multiple photos and start assigning keywords, the keywords list is found and finds the words as I type, when I hit enter, it flashes and does not assign a keyword to the photo.
I am using iphoto 11 9.3

Try using the Keyword pane to assign keywords to single or multiple photos. Select the photos, bring up the keyword pane open (Command+K) and click on the keywords you want to assign:
Assigned keywords to those photos will display blue.
This may only be a workaround but, IMO, it's a more efficient way to assign keywords.
