10.10.3 update is a bad joke.

10.10.3 makes my MacBook Air very slow, takes about two–three minutes to star and the battery dies to fast.

It has something to do with your Mac. Take it in for service.
I have applied the update to over 20 Macs in the studio and not one is displaying those symptoms. In fact if what you are seeing was a bug in the update then I would think that millions of others would notice it also. More likely a third party conflict.
You can try posting an etrecheck report for analysis if you wish.
Cheers
Pete

  • Like a BAD BAD joke! - PS tools removed from Bridge CC 2014

This is like a BAD BAD joke, sitting on about 60 PSD files with about 2 gig each ... ned to show them to a client as JPG ... so now i have to open EVERY single PSD in Photoshop and save it as JPG.... GREAT.
I urge adobe on bringing back the PS tools to Bridge CC 2014 instantly!!!

I have the same issue when trying to Browse in Bridge from Photoshop CC 2014. When I click "Browse in Bridge" in Photoshop CC 2014, the Creative Cloud desktop client window opens up and asks "Are you sure you want to install this version of Bridge"?
Like you, I also thought it was an update so I clicked' "Yes, install this version" option.
Bridge will launch from the dock icon I have set up, but not from within Photoshop CC 2014.
Any solutions to this bug anyone?

Did you look at using the Implict Enhancement Options available at the beginning & end of the POST_VIA_BLOP Method? Or even better, enhance the Class CL_PT_ARQ_REQ_EXIT & replace the IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ~POST_VIA_BLOP Method with an Overwrite Exit?

  • Rezound OTA update, good or bad?

    Still no Rezound forum, huh?
Well, I noticed a decreased in overall performance in my device after the update, but it was still very usable and a great device, but disappointed in the decrease in download speeds, battery life and STILL seeing the issue with my time switching back and forth between Pacific and Mountain time...I believe the time zones will sync before that is fixed lol.
Anyway, so I was sent a replacement and activated it last night and noticed immediately it had the previous software on it, which is good, because the battery life and speeds seem to be where they once were after about 4 hours of use...but there is an issue with the ear piece, the speaker seems to be blown (static and muffling) so I had to pack it up and send it back for another. I activated the phone with the new software afterwards (within minutes and in the same area) and notice the downloads speeds were back down to about 2-4 down and topped out at 1 up (the replacement, both exceeded 10) I am in Phoenix,AZ where 4G is all over.
I am hoping the next replacement has not been flashed w/ the new update so I can ignore it if it happens to come up. I know its recommended by VZW that all phones have the latest software, but after seeing first hand what the update does to the speed and battery, is it really worth it? Could it be that my device was bad all along despite it working perfectly prior to the update? I did perform factory resets and kept 3rd party apps very minimal but no difference. Is this "Verizon Location Agent" really to blame for the battery life? I fear receiving the next replacement and it working fine, then the update comes along and ruins the phone again...I doubt that is enough ground to request another replacement.
What to do, what to do!

I've been lucky with my TBolt and Rezound. I haven't had all of the problems others have except for the network problem with the Bolt. Since I still have it, I've been tempted to root it just to experiment, but the Rezound has been so great that I just haven't been in a hurry to do it. My speeds with the Rezound after the update are about the same as before. They go up and down, depending on when I check it and what server I connect to. I'd love to get the 20's and 30's some report, but my best is about 16Mbps and this morning I'm getting 4 to 7Mbps.
I don't usually see that much difference in how fast it connects to web sites, maybe because I don't check the speed when I'm surfing, if it connects I'm happy.  It also seems to slow down when I tether to my laptop, but I seldom check it then either. Having a stable connection that doesn't drop out and need to be restarted every 5 to 10 minutes is more important to me than what the speed is.  Even at it's slowest, it's still faster than the non-existent WiFi we have at work.
Hope your next one works better. If it doesn't keep bugging them till you get one that does.

  • New fields update with CRM_ORDER_SAVE BAdI - not working

    Dear Experts,
I ask your help in connection updating custom generated fields in Opportunity. In the Webclient UI i added a new field to Opportunity - Total Expected Value, and a Currency for it automatically generated.
The enhancement ID is YEXT00001 and the field name is YYFLD000002 and YYFLD000003 for the currency. I do not added these fields for the opportunity details view, I only want to use them to extend the search criteria for opportunities.
Now the fields are available in the search criteria, and I implemented the BADI CRM_ORDER_SAVE and in it I update these new fields with the value of the original fields of Total Expected Value, but unfortunately my BADI is not updating the field.

  • Laserjet 200 firmware update - "Something is bad with your device"

When trying to update the firmware on my HP LaserJet 200 color M251nw I get:
"Something is bad with your device. Device is in error state and cannot be reflashed because of this. Resolve the problem and try again.".
However the device looks ok, no errors on screen, logs, checked Web UI for hints, reboothing doesn't change the issue....
    Current firmware is 20121026.
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,
I just check the system requirement on the firmware update page, it doesnt mention MAC.

Can you try updating it by conecting it to a windows PC if you have any?

  • Neo-FIS2R v1.5 BIOS update procedure went bad!

    Hi all,
I tried to update my BIOS from v1.4 to v1.5, but something went wrong in the process now my board is completely dead.  First, flashing in WinXP didn't work for me.  However, the system was still intact.  So, I tried to flash in DOS.  Created the DOS disk using the Live Update for the BIOS v1.5 update.  Once the disk booted, got the message that it's okay to reboot.  When I did reboot, my video never came on but the floppy did.  This is strange because I thought I was done flashing.  Anyway, it seemed to load the floppy again and I heard 4 beeps afterwards.  I remember reading that the 4 beeps signals that it's safe to reboot, so I did.  Now, my D-Bracket is stuck at 4 red lights, which is a real bad sign.  Looks my BIOS is completely screwed up!
My question is, do I have an option to reset the BIOS somehow?  The only option I can find is clearing the CMOS, of course, that didn't help.  Is my board completely dead?  Do I have any recourse?
    Mike

    Hi guys, I'm back!
Thanks to your recommendation Jocko, I RMA'ed the board and it turned out great because MSI was very fast in fixing and returning the board to me.  They didn't even have my MB for more than a day.  They reflashed BIOS v1.4 for me.  Everything is great now because my machine is working fine again.
However, it still wasn't easy because I found out that the culprit to all of my problems was the no name 512MB PC3200 memory I was using.  I haven't tried all the different setting permutations for this chip, but I was able to have the machine run fine if I choke the performance by limiting the speed to DDR200.  It's very stupid to run at that speed with such a powerful MB, not to mention spending more money for DDR400 only to run it at DDR200.  This all started because I didn't do enough research (didn't find this board) before buying my parts.  For all my past PC building experiences, I was able to get things working by just buying the right type and speed of memory that matched motherboard specifications; usually, this meant buying the cheapest memory you can find on pricewatch.com.  Boy, did I get a wake-up call with this CPU-Motherboard combo.  I wished I had learned earlier that the way an Athlon 64 CPU manages memory on its own would cause such major compatibility issues.  Now that I explained how I screwed up buying a no-name chip, here's what happened:
When I got my board back from MSI, I was able to get into the BIOS (v1.4) settings and limit the memory speed to DDR200.  My system booted fine.  I proceeded to update to the latest v1.6 BIOS thinking that since my machine is all fixed, I should go to the latest version on everything.  This is where the problem happened.  Once the flash was complete in WinXP, I restarted the machine and POW!  It's dead again!  You can imagine how I felt then  The only difference is that this time, the MB still had enough capability to read my floppy for a reflash of the BIOS.
It appears to me that whatever they changed after v1.4 (my original problem started when I flashed v1.5, which is no longer available) revoked that chance for the user to adjust memory speed; a must for users with memory compatibility issues.  It just freezes at "early chipset initialization" according to the D-Bracket.  By the way, I tried clearing the CMOS numerous times also to no avail.  Since I was able to flash a new BIOS using floppy recovery, I went back to BIOS v1.4 and I cleared the CMOS.  I thought that would get me back to where I was before.  The strange thing was it didn't help at all!
I'm sure you guys are fed up reading my story up to this point, you can imagine how I felt.  So, I decided to solve this problem once and for all by buying a chip that is known to work well with this MB.  I bought one Kingmax MPXC22D-38 512MB DDR400-PC3200 chip.  Now, my headaches are gone since everything is working fine again.  By the way, I haven't had a chance to optimize the memory speed settings yet.  If anyone has the Kingmax DDR400 optimal settings for the FIS2R, Tiresmoke , I would greatly appreciate some help.  I'm tired of messing with JBAT1 and clearing my CMOS!
Thanks for everyone's help.  I truly appreciate it.

I have no solution for your actual problem (wrong forum, you should try the MM forum) but I wonder why you just don't use the data that is already there in EKKO and EKPO?

Please dont use CAPS-LOCK. It is generally interpreted as SHOUTING

    Hi,
you could try to do something via field-symbols (but be careful):
    e.g.
    CONSTANTS: c_ydrseg(18) TYPE c VALUE '(SAPLMR1M)YDRSEG[]'.
      DATA: wa_drseg TYPE mmcr_drseg.
      CLEAR wa_drseg.
      FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_ydrseg> TYPE table.
      ASSIGN (c_ydrseg) TO <fs_ydrseg>.
      CLEAR lt_drseg.
      REFRESH lt_drseg.
      lt_drseg[] = <fs_ydrseg>.
      IF NOT <fs_ydrseg>[] IS INITIAL.
        LOOP AT lt_drseg INTO wa_drseg.
      * do something with EREKZ
        ENDIF.
      ENDIF.

  • IPod updater-good or bad?

    Hello
I have read that some people, when they downloaded the updater, gave their ipod trouble....did it happen oanyone? and second: when you download it, you put in my documents, but then how does it get in your ipod?
    Chris

You gotta double click and install it first, but unless you want to, i wouldn't update. Too many problems.

  • Has Apple done a fix for the recent Security update that went bad.

Hoping to see a message from Apple that they have made a patch to correct the errors caused by the recent download.

Yes, the problematic update v. 1.0 was immediately replaced by v. 1.1. Just run Software Update again to install it and resolve the Rosetta problems caused by the original.
