1099 Form table used
We would like to be able to export the Federal income tax withheld printed on the 1099 form. Upon reviewing the 1099 PLD form, it shows system variable 203 fro this field. I tried looking this up in the 'PLD_Vars.xls' from SAP, but it is not listed. Does anyone know what table/field stores this number? Or does anyone have a way of exporting the 1099 form data? We would like to export this so we can submit this to the IRS.
1099 form is only used in the states. As we are in Canada, no such form is available. A suggestion to you is: you can check View - System Information. The variables' information is showed on the bottom left of your active form screen. When your cursor is on the field, you may found field name for the variables.

I called the support hotline and they were supposed to look into this and get back to me, but haven't. We printed the 'summary' and exported that. It did not have the vendor code, but that is the best we could do.

BalajiYou really don't enter identical data into 2 tables. You enter dat into one single table, and then you have an unique identifier that maps to another table (you have a unique relationship between two tables).

Think about it this way... What is you update data in 2 tables, and then the data in one of those tables changes, but the data in the other table does NOT change. WHOOPS!! Now, you've got a BIG problem. For instance, you have a customer

you want that??? Which is right? No one knows. If you have one address, you just have to update one address and if there is a mistake, you just have to update one address, but you don't have to waste time trying to figure out which is right
and which is wong...and then update the one that is wrong.

You have 3 options here.
Option 1) Open each form using Forms Builder and get the list of objects
Option 2) Use Record History and LAST_QUERY
Option 3) Enable trace

Problem in Master Detail form when using ADF table for Detail

jdev version-11.1.2.1.0
i have create Master detail form using datacontrol drag as ADF Master Form Detail Table.
Now when i create a new row in Detail table using CreateInsert button a blank new row created on the top of detail table.
and other row show that data of previous record based on master.
problem is that i want when i click on createInsert button all row of detail table should be blank and when user fill two or three row then commit.

if a detail table has data, then createInsert adds to these. If you want to hide existing rows, create a new View Object instance and set its "Retrieve from the Database" option to "No Rows". The use an af:switcher to change the table shown when the user clicks the createInsert button. There is a bit of coding required to have this use case in ADF, but its mostly declarative. Bottom line is that there is no automated option other than creating new rows in a separate page or dialog if you are bothered by existing rows

We're using the generic program s_p00_07000134 to
produce our 1099 forms and file. IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC gets generated and the form says 'Copy B' for the recipient. How do we create the rest of the copies (Copy A for IRS, Copy 1 for the state, Copy 2, and Copy C?Joe,
It looks like we will have only Copy B in smart form. When running the 1099's, you can do a print preview. In the print preview, there is a "Suppress/Display Background Graphics" push button that toggles between displaying the form and not displaying the form. What needs to be done is to send the 1099 to the print spooler without the background graphics. This only prints the data. Then you print the data on pre-printed Copy A, Copy B, and Copy 1. ... -

How to point at a word table using forms Ole and Word Document

I like to know how to position at a word table and send data from a forms module using ole. I have done something similar before using bookmarks.It's easy and it works. My requirement now is to send data from a forms module to a word document, but this time, the word document will have bookmarks and a word table needs to be filled from data from the database. Just don't know how to get , access, reference the word table from forms.
I'm still using forms6i in C/S mode.
Help will be greatly appreciated ...!.

I need to make a ADF Creation Form that will insert the data at same time in two tables... Like i have two tables Track (Track_id,Track_Name)
and Module ( Module_id, Track_id, Module_name, Module_Short_name) and i have to insert the data in both the tables using Same Creation Form.

Thanksif you want to insert different data into two different tables then you can drag the two data objects into creation form..
If you want to duplicate the data inserted in the one table to another then you can follow two approach
1. Drag and drop one table, When Save button is invoked then insert data into another table using callable statement.
or
2. Create on-insert trigger in Table1 where you can insert data into table2.

It sounds like what you are trying to do is edit the choices in a likert field to something other than the default radio button. This is not something that you can do in Formscentral at this time.

For Statement on a table using add.instances - need help

I made this table in an acrobat form. The table uses java script to add rows . The code I used is:

There are two fields on this table that I want to evaluate 1) an index named index1
and 2) the value named numAmount
The script I am using to evaluate these to fields is as follows:

My problem is that I need to nest this if statement inside some kind of a loop. I want the program to look at my table, determine how many instances the user has added, scroll through the table and look at index1, if index 1 = 2 then i want it to return the value in numAmount.
I just can't get the syntax to work in either form calc or javascript.
I am trying to write this code using the calculate method on a fourth field located on form1.#subform[2].Table5.Row5.NumericField1
I have attached the file if it helps. The table is on page one of the form and the display field is on page three.

Error While Inserting Data into table using OAF

EmpID (Number), Ename(VARCHAR2 100), Sal Number, and who columns.
1. created Application Module (AM).

I ran the page, page was opened successfully. Once i enter data and click submit button, it's giving the following error.

The displayed records may have been deleted, or the current record for the view object may not have been properly initialized.
To proceed, please select the Home link at the top of the application page to return to the main menu. Then, access this page again using the application's navigation controls (menu, links, and so on) instead of using the browser's navigation controls like Back and Forward.

Use of us_screen in the form routine : FORM entry USING retcode us_screen
Hello All,
I have one print program entry routine as below.
FORM entry USING retcode us_screen.
Some code to print the form data...
EndForm.
When i Check the value of us_screen in the debuging, its value is coming as blank.
When i checked the other form routine the value of us_screen is coming as 'X.
I am my getting why in my case value of us_screen is coming as blank.
What is significant of this field.

Sachin YadavCusomization might be missing for that output type in transaction NACE.
us_screen is blank because below query fails due to missing entry in table TNAPR.
SELECT SINGLE * FROM TNAPR WHERE KSCHL = P_KSCHL
AND NACHA = P_NACHA
AND KAPPL = P_KAPPL.
First assign the output type with a Transmission medium, Program, Form Routine, Form in transaction NACE
Take the help of your functional consultant.
