11.1.1.5 - Measure labels are appearing in legend (line graph)

I've created a line graph in 11.1.1.5. My legend is showing a combination of the column value and the measure name (e.g. Web Sales, Direct Sales, Retail Sales). I want my legend to simply say Web, Direct, and Retail, without the appended 'Sales' measure label.
The Measure Labels tile is currently residing in the Vary Color By (Horizontal Axis) zone, along with the legend column, so I guess it makes sense that the legend column and the measure labels would both show up in the legend (although I don't think that was the case in 11.1.1.3). However, there doesn't appear to be any place into which I can relocate the Measure Labels tile so that the word Sales DOESN'T appear on the line graph. If I move the Measures Labels tile into Graph Prompts, Sections, or Group By (Horizontal Axis), the word Sales appears in those locations. If I attempt to move that tile into the Lines (Vertical Axis) box, or into the Excluded box, it won't allow being dropped there.
Switching between line, bar, and area graphs reveals the same problem in all graph types.
Is there any way to supress the display of measure labels on graphs in 11.1.1.5?

This is the feature in 11g obiee displaying the Measue heading and dimension value... like u said right Web Sales...and so on.
Here in u case web is the value of dimension and Sales is heading of a measure.
One way is if u are not using any dimension apart from 1 dim and fact u can put measure labels in the group by axis and dimension column in the show in legend section then it will give u only web.
But if u have 2 dimension then we have to put this measure labels with either one of the dimensions in this case heading of the measure wil display.

You're right, we can use that option. However, as you said, if row/column contains same UoM. My reports are quite complex, they contains different UoM.

Lines not appearing in SVG Line Graph

Hi ,
I have created a chart region which is of tyoe SVG ( Line) .
My issue is that for some cases I can only see the Marker Style at the correct position but I cannot see a line joining the dots.
What could I be doign wrong here ?
Appreciate any response in this regard .
Also I notice this strange error in IE - Path data Command 'L' bad or missing parameter.

The issue is solved. The option "Adjust Formatting after Refreshing" in the Query Properties was unchecked. I checked that & the problem is solved.

Eexclude Measure Labels from display in 11g

In 11g:
When creating a chart (I just upgrade the report from 10g),
the Measure Labels appears on legend in addition to the series name.
I could not find way to exclude it from the chart.
If I un check the legend, I miss also the series names.
If I put it on section header I have problem in case of chart, which is part of pivot table view with sections - it is extra to the section column name.
Any ideas how to exclude the measure labels from display?

Bump.
While not idea by any stretch of the imagination, you can clean it up a bit by dragging 'Measure Labels' into the chart type areas as shown here --> http://imgur.com/UJmHT. It is not ideal, however. Oracle really needs to let you drag the measure labels to the 'Excluded' section.

IdM 8.1 New Labels are not getting displayed after upgrading from 7.1

We have recently upgraded IdM 7.1 to IdM 8.1 and after upgrading the New Labels as New Navigation Menu's in Admin panel are not getting resolved and
Appearing following way
UI_APPR_XML_PROVISIONER_EMPTY_TABLE
UI_APPR_JAVA_LIST_PROVISIONING_REQUESTS_LABEL
We have checked these labels are there under WPMessages_en.properties file (under idmcommon.jar) but still they are not getting reflected.
Any help on this will be appreciated.

May be your location credentials out of sync.
Un-register and re-register the locations
1)Right click the location in the Control Center manager and select Unregister

OutputLabes, values in selectOneChoice are appearing twice in the jspx page

Hi All,
In a Jspx Page, there are two menu tabs. Each Tab has a PanelForm and each panelform has certain components.
By default the first panelform in the first tab will be shown on page load and while clicking on second tab, the second panelform will be shown.
The first panelform has three selectonechoices and three command buttons.
If i click on reset button, these 3 selectonechoices are set to null by backing bean.
Here comes the problem, after clicking on reset, if you click on second tab where the second panel form available, certain components like outputLabel and the values in selectOnechoice, are appearing twice on the page.
Can anyone suggest me how to get rid of this problem..

Thanks a lot for your reply, but i am using JDev 10.1.3.3. There is no panelFormLayout component and i am not using that component.
Even i am strange this duplicating of components and values in selectoneChoice occuring from past 2 days in the old file. I am wondering whether my file got corrupted by any sort.

A newly added Cal.View Measure does not appear in the BEX Designer:
I got a runnig query in Bex Designer, based on a transient InfoProvider which is based on a HANA Calculation View
and
added a new measure to the Calculation View
and
added a Reference InfoObject in the Publisher to the (transient) InfoProvider.
and
see the newly added filed in the Listccube of the(transient) InfoProvider with a technical generated name
and do not
get the newly added measure in the BEX Designer.
Whats wrong ? What needs to be done ?

Are you trying to consume the HANA Calc View in BEx Front End Tool - Query Designer.Could you also check the data preview of the Calc View shows the newly added Measure.Check the definition of Calc View under SYS_BIC schema ->Column Views.

Based on your information, you get the "The Measures hierarchy already appears in the Axis0 axis." when executing the MDX query. Right?
In Analysis Services, the measures in MDX are metrics value stored in your Fact Tables. Measures are used to analyze performance of the Business. Measure usually contains numeric data, which can be aggregated against usage of associated dimensions. So in
a MDX query, we can't just have one measure on rows and other measure on columns. In your scenario, the calculated member is a measure, so it will throw the error. you can either change a dimension on columns or put both measure on same axis.

Blue symbols and letters are appearing above text

When typing, my computer is slowing down sometimes and blue symbols (numbers, letters, and images) are appearing above along with a list of numbers. This is happening directly above whatever I'm typing. Very annoying on 2 levels. What is showing up on my screen is behind what I'm actually typing and it slows everything down. Attached is an screen shot of this happening as I was typing the title to this post (fortunately I was able to catch it with a screenshot).

From the menu bar, select  ▹ System Preferences ▹ Keyboard ▹ Keyboard. Move the slider labeled Delay Until Repeat to the left.

I've tried resetting my phone, looking for the pics in the new 'deleted' folder. I tried forwarding the jpegs to sees if they'll appear in a new message (but turnout the phone won't let me forward these pics). As for iPhoto, it sounds like you were trying to move files around in the library. That is a bib no-no in Aperture or iPhoto.

Bookmarks toolbar Firefox 10.0.2/OSX 10.6.8 - gone. View Toolbars Bookmarks Toolbar - checked. Dragging URL's to bookmarks toolbar area no longer works. Gray area appears/disappears when checked/unchecked but will not show any or accept new bookmarks.

My bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 10.0.2 Mac OSX 10.6.8 suddenly disappeared. View>Toolbars>Bookmarks Toolbar is checked. Dragging URL's to the bookmarks toolbar area no longer works. Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

Approvers names are appearing as #######

Hello SAP experts.
I'm facing an issue in SRM portal. Users create Shopping carts and the approvers names in the list is appearing as ######. The approvers name is in Greek so something is wrong with the character encoding.
This is random. For some approvers the name is appearing correctly with the Greek characters and for some approvers the name is appearing as ###########.
I checked the HR structure and how the name is dispayed but everything seems ok there. Then i supposed that it was services problem but why some names are appearing correctly and others don't?
If someone could help me i would appreciate since i'm in a dead end here :(.
