2 Months for my BT Fibre installation!! Outrageous...

Hi,
I have been waiting for 2 months now. We played our order on the 2nd of August 2014 they moved to 20th of Sept instantly after we got off the phone but they gave me installation dates over the phone which was like the 18th of August! I don't know why! 
So I called them back and said what is going on? They then lied to me over the phone and said we didn't say them dates but I wrote them all down then they put it throught to the manager which listened to the phone recording and gave us free credit or something but it still doesn't help my installation date has now been moved from 20th of Sept to 15th Oct.
Note we did have to get permission from the housing association but we got that the next day without any problems but they still moved it miles away our appointment.
What the **bleep** is going on?

no openreach will decide appointment time and any moves will be decided by openreach then they inform the ISP whether that is BT Retail or TT or Sky and then they in turn inform you their customer

    i joined BT having left TalkTalk where the customer service was derisory but at £6 per month for unlimited broadband , didn't seem too bad a deal. Although we regularly lost the internet connection and phone line, for days on end at times. So far the BT equipment and experience is flaw-free.
    We live 4km from the exchange and can hence only get around 1.5MB download, we have no cable in the area nor are we connected to fibre in the area.
    I joined BT and quickly ran out the 10GB limit. I probably need to upgrade to the 40GB package which is £18 per month.
    How can it be justified to charge £18 per month for a capped service at 1.5MB. Is there nothing that can be done. I regret joining BT now. We've been with them for 26 days now.

    You should be connecting at about 3.2MB, but you have lots of errors which are affecting your speed. This could be your own internal wiring.
    Are you connected to your master socket, or an extension?

  • Being billed for old address & "free" installation with Mover's Edge

    I moved on 8/1/15 and used the Mover's Edge service. The CSR I spoke with on the phone when setting up my move said many times that the installation would be free of charge. No one had had service at my new address since 2009, so a tech did need to come out, but the CSR told me at least 4 times that he waived the installation fee for me.  MY two issues as follows: OLD ACCOUNTBilled for a full month for service 8/1 - 8/31. Service was disconnected 7/30/15. I moved away from this address on 8/1/15. NEW ACCOUNTBilled $35 for installation that was supposed to be free with Mover's Edge.  I spoke to a CSR via the online chat feature yesterday (8/5/15) who claimed to have "made notes" of these issues on my account. What do these notes accomplish? Hoe do I even know she did anything? When will the correct amounts ($0 for the old account, and about $60 for the new account) be reflected?  What do I have to do to get someone to help me? Why am I seemingly being punished for using Mover's Edge? Please help me!

    We are facing an issue in SOA Suite Installation which is prerequisite for AIA 3.0 Installation. As per AIA 3.0 Installation Guide, the Web Logic Server version to be used is “Web Logic Server 11g R1 10.3.1“ for Linux86 32bit Version.
    After Installation of SOA Suite on Linux Environment, the em console page is not opening.

    Where are you seeing that? I still see Single App membership at US$19.99/month.

    I am aware Verizon has switched over to the "Share Everything" plan. I think it's obsurd to charge $50 a month for only 1GB of data to share with the whole family. Anybody who pays for that, must be insane. But, that's not what I'm asking about.              I have talked to my local Verizon store and they said I can keep my plan if I just want to upgrade my phone. There are 3 other phones on my plan, by the way. I have a basic Samsung Rogue that has unlimited texting and a shared amount of minutes for phone calls. I asked about changing my phone to a smart phone and they said I could have the $45/month plan, or whatever it was, for unlimited everything. That was just a little bit more than what I was willing to spend. I considered switching carriers and decided against it, as Verizon seems to have the best coverage. Then, it occured to me that they used to offer a limited data plan that my sister had before she got unlimited. I thought it was about $15 on top of what I already pay, but I'm not for sure. So, since I am still on my old plan, would it be possible to add the limited data package to my plan?? Also, if that is possible, what phones have an option to have a data plan? Can it just be any smart phone? I would prefer a touch screen phone.

    Yes it is true. when you add a line you are required to change to the share everything plan.
    <Moderator comment. This information is incorrect. Current customer are not required to switch to the Share Everything Plan if the customer deals with a corporate store or VZW directly through Customer Service.<

    When I am installing the SAP SAP J2EE add-on for SAP NW XI installation I am getting the follwing error:
    CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: Executable /oracle/XID/920_64/bin/sqlplus returns 127.. SOLUTION: See ora_sql_results.log and the Oracle documentation for details
    Could some one help me to resolve this error and install the SAP J2EE add-on?

  • Is this a bug for 10.3.9 installation

    Hi everyone especially mac experts
    This is my first visit to this forum. I have been using my Powerbook g4 12 inch for 3 - 4 years, never had any problem til now!!
    My mac has problem all the sudden, got hacked or something, I dont know, I cannot even restart, it hung since apple logo appear, only way is insert install disc + press C with only one option it allowed me to do "erase and install" no backup no upgrade!!!!
    Anyway, that is not my question, it just a whining, my question is when i tried to reinstall with my installation CD that came with my powerbook and/or panther CD with 3 blacks and 1 codeX, which I got it when I was a member of developer connect. The series of problem are as follow
    1. during installation of CD2, i got installation failure with error messages said some packages cannot install!!!
    2. after i ignore (1), by click "quit" which is only one option anyway, os started to ask me to fill in all information include setting user name and password for admin account. so i did. Then I start to do "software update", and it failed to update/install QuickTime 7.x.x. Then i tried to download only, unpackage and install myself, it has the same results
    3. From (2) i search solution on mac website by using winXP, and found that i have to remove some packages in /Library/../receipts/ and reinsert CD 2 again to reinstall, cool.. i will give it a shot. Unfortunately, it asked for admin password and i could not give a correct password, but i remember and have it written down on a paper. Then i check at Preference->account->admin and see it shows 7 digits or * instead of 9 digits. I wonder that someone might hacked into my computer and change it.
    Therefore, I decide to reinstall again, this time, i spent more time by include erase disk with option "write zero to disk" and no network connection to make sure there is no trace from hacker! Unfortunately, I got the same problem from (1) to (3) without update software d/l. therefore, i believe (3)is a bug it is obvious from my observation, if i cannot solve (3) i will not be able to solve (1) and (2), and i will not have my mac back to work
    Please give me advice, i already lost all my data and spent my weekend trying to fix these problems, which non can be fixed (yet)

    I honestly dont know anything about this "Repair Permissions" from the name, i though it is a verification of authentication to repair OS or some kind of credential issue, and since i m admin user then there is no point to verify it, i should be allowed to do so. Again it is my first time to do this thing in 3 - 4 years of using panther, every time i update software i never ever do this! If this step is essential for every update and installation why dont apple put them as one of TODO step during the processes (as licensing agreement) instead of keep them as an option (just my thought) Anyway, I m glad u tell me about it, and i will give it a shot tonight.

Now i know that I could find an offline version and should be able to get it installed but im not sure of a safe site that provides the iso or install exe.     Michaelt65951582 I am sorry but you will need to run at least the minimum operating system to use Photoshop.  You can find the system requirements at System requirements | Photoshop.  I would recommend upgrading to Windows 7 or later.  You may find that your computer can support the more recent operating system depending upon the hardware installed.

    Procedure
    Before you carry out the posting, you should determine the reason for this difference.
    You could check the material line items to find out which postings have led to the current moving average price. If the action taken refers to a purchase order, you could contact Purchasing to find out whether a mistake was made when entering the order price.
    Has anyone seen this before and what should be the cause of action? Well, I was still able to proceed with the GI successfully but I'd like to know what has caused the message?
