2 separate wsdl files

Hi,
I uploaded an external definition (WSDL file) into XI since I want to call a web service in my scenario. After uploading  the file and opening it within XI I can see two different wsdl files depending on which tab (imported document <-> WSDL) I click. In the tab "imported document" I can see the whole file I uploaded. When I click on WSDL tab I get only a snippet of the file listed. Why is there a separation of this file?
Regards,
Marc

Hi Mark,
the Imported Document link shows: your file in text format
so everything
and WSDL view shows the of the conversion to XI's WSDL
so I assume It can be a little different than
your original WSLD file and maybe that's the reason
BTW the WSLD view does not show the "real" whole WSDL I believe
as you cannot use it to export and import
in some other tool (as you need to do it in the Directory)
via menu which will generate a correct WSDL file

  • How to add wsdl files and bpel files in new folders automatically

    Hi All,
    In our project, we have a lot of wsdl files and bpel file generated.
    By default, they are all under the folder of SOA Content, like a mess.
    I want to put them in separate folders.
    I can manually change the wsdl location and manually change references to these wsdls, but it will take a lot of extra time to do so.
    Is there a way to achieve this in UI?
    Thanks and Regards!
    Bruce

    Hi Eric,
    Thanks for your reply!
    I can use refector->move to move the wsdl file to newly created folders.
    But unfortunately, JDeveloper won't update the references to the wsdl files.
    I have to update the references manually, and it will take a lot of time if there exists many wsdl files in one project.
    Thanks and Regards!

  • How to use this .WSDL file

    Hello,
    I was given this .WSDL file and asked to import it into PI. It's a very simple operation. From ECC  we will send some user data in the header and some Ticket data in the body. It is forwarded by PI to 3rd party ticket system. The result sent back is the ticket ID that is created in ticket system.
    However i'm facing difficulties with this. Please see actions i've done below.

    What i wanted to do was to create a service interface in PI that could be used in ECC to create a proxy of. The service interface needs to use the HRWheader and Ticket SoapIn combined. However when I import the .WSDL in an external definition i see three separate messages (header, soapin, soapout) and there is no way i can use the two messages in one SI.
    I also tried importing the .WSDL using "do not extract" but that doesn't help either.
    I also tried importing the .WSDL file as a Service Interface directly and it neatly creates a synchronous interfaces with the soapin as request and soapout as response, but it still doesn't show the header. If i check the WSDL tab for my newly created interface i also miss the reference to the Header message.
    So my question is for some help and what would be the best way to handle this.

    In Web Dynpro ABAP there is nothing special about calling a web service. Unlike WD Java, there are not dedicated model object types in WD ABAP. WD ABAP simply has the ability to interact with other ABAP development object types. You can call function modules, ABAP classes, even modules in old dynpro apps.
    So calling the webservice from ABAP therefore is just the process of generating the ABAP Proxy Class. This is the same process regardless of if you want to use this proxy class from WDA or any other type of ABAP development object. You can then call the proxy class from WDA just like any other type of ABAP class. There is a service wizard option in later support package levels that includes an option for ABAP Proxy classes - although it doesn't generate the proxy class it just generates the code and context for the call to an already existing proxy class. The service wizards in WD ABAP are not required however. They are just shortcut code generators and often can't even generate a complete context for a complex web service proxy - so expect to do some manual adjustment after running the wizard.

  • Re map wsdl file

    Hi to all!
    I am a newbie to Web Services and I was trying to resolve the following thing:
    I am trying to expose as a WS a Java method which returns an array of strings. In the wsdl file this return is mapped like this:
    *<sequence>*
    *<element name="return" type="string" nillable="true" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>*
    *</sequence>*
    The problem is that I want to map every element of the array as a separate element. For example let say the array contains personal data, like Name, Surname, Birthplace, Social ID etc, I would like the WSDL file to be smth like the following:
    *<sequence>*
    *<element name="Firstname" type="string" nillable="true"/>*
    *<element name="Lastname" type="string" nillable="true"/>*
    *<element name="Birthplace" type="string" nillable="true"/>*
    *</sequence>*
    Can someone help me how to accomplish that.
    Regards
    Drini!

    Hi,
    You can run the adgendbc.sh script to recreate the DBC files -- See (Troubleshooting Login [ID 178437.1]) for details.
    However, I would suggest you run AutoConfig and it should recreate the DBC files for you. If you get any errors when running AutoConfig please post the error here.
    Thanks,

  • WSDL Files in the Solution Composer

    Hi Guys!
    I am trying to use the WSDL Files for a Enterprise Service Operation from the Solution Composer, but I am always requiered to enter an account and password to get the file.
    Where can I get the authorization to use these WSDL files and how?
    I will really appreciate any hint!

    Hi Edgardo,
    If you go to the ESA Preview System Page https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/esapreview.sdn?node=linkDnode12-2 you will notice that there is a form to request participation in the ESA Preview System access.  Only those Partners and Employees defining a very valid business case for building and testing client applications that consume enterprise services will be accepted to this "limited" capacity program.
    At a later date, these WSDL files will be more widely available.  For the time being only those accepted as part of this preview system program will have access.
    cheers,
    Marilyn

    I am not sure what we are missing in XSD file that the XML output is not getting transformed correctly...although we tried transforming the XML output by removing some information in XML output above and it was getting trasformed properly..
    We remove
    1. xmlns = "http://tempuri.org/Projectix20/SOAPAccess" from <ExecuteSQLToXMLResponse xmlns = "http://tempuri.org/Projectix20/SOAPAccess" >
    2. xmlns = "" from <NewDataSet xmlns = "" >
    3 remove <parameters > and </parameters > tags from output and the XML Output is getting tranformed correctly.
    Please let us know if we can transform the XML Output without requiring these removals.
    Thanks,
    Pawan

    Could you clarify some things? You are saying you are trying to transform the xml output of a webservice with an xsd, but an xsd is a schema that describes the allowed format of a xml file. If you want to transform xml from one format to an other (from one xsd to an other) you have to use a xsl file. You can make and test this with JDeveloper. Are you calling the webservice from esb or bpel?

  • Error reading wsdl file excepetion null

    Hi
    I am trying to invoke a proxy service (web service) wsdl from a bpel process. When i add a web service adapter, put url of external web service and save it, all my service end points defined in the BPEL process are becoming non editable. Binding of operation is changing from web service to HTTP binding for all end points. When I try to edit any partner link, Jdev throws an error " error reading wsdl file excepetion null " for local services. For external service, even though i am refering to a url on the server, it points to " C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdev\bin\...\xxxx?WSDL" and throws same error " failed to read wsdl file(System could not find the path specified". I am just clueless as to why this is happening. Any help is much appreciated.

  • Look up for wsdl file

    Hi All,
    How to look up for a wsdl file for a web service deployed or published fromXI.
    I know that there is an option for saving wsdl file while defining a web service in Integration Directory. but what if somone has lost it. Is there any other way to look up for the wsdl file?
    Piyush

    Hi Bhavesh,
    If I publish wsdl in UDDI, will it automatically take changes or I have to redefine it?
    e.g I change the parameters of one method from two to three.So will it be automatically reflected or I've to again redefine a web service?
    Second is that how to stop or undeploy a web service. where to find that option ?

  • Failed to read wsdl file from url

    Hi all,
    I am struggling with WL 9.2, consuming a WSRP enabled portlet at the following point:
    Having created a proxy portlet, refering to the WSDL of the WSRP producer, I did successfully deploy the portal. When accessing the portal and consuming the portlet the following exception is thrown:
    com.bea.wsrp.faults.TransportException: Failed to read wsdl file from url due to -- java.net.ConnectException: Tried all: '8' addresses, but could not connect over HTTP to server: 'www.w3.org', port: '80';
    The WSDL includes a schema (http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema). The URL is definetely accessible by the server.
    I am open for any kind of support ;) Thanks in advance!
    Kind regards,
    Matthias

    Yes, they are all local schemas. The way ALSB works, even if the import path in the wsdl or parent schema doesn't exist, relative to the current directory, you can specify which schema resolves that reference. My WSDL imports several schemas, all of which import others. When I was done importing all the schemas and resolving references, all the references in WSDLs and XSDs were assigned and valid. However, after all of those imports and reference resolution, it still says the WSDL is invalid, with the following odd error message:
    The WSDL is not semantically valid: Failed to read wsdl file from url due to -- java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: /XMLSchema/PaymentServices/Resources/PaymentServices-200802.
    That path listed refers to one of the schemas imported by the WSDL. The reference to that schema in the WSDL was resolved, and it doesn't complain about that reference.

  • Unable to generate WebService Client with Exported (BAPI) WSDL file from XI

    Hi there,
    I, trying to setup a simple Web Service environment where I'll be exposing a BAPI as Web Service via XI.
    So these are the steps I followed:
    <b>1)</b> first I imported the BAPI meta data into my SWC in the repository. <b>2)</b> Second I defined my interrface etc.. <b>3)</b> Third I exported the generated BAPI WSDL file. <b>4)</b> Fourth, I tried to generate a Java proxy/client for my Web Service using a Java IDE (IBM WebSphere Application Developer and XML Spy).
    Now the problem is that Im not able to generate the Web Service client using the exported WSDL file, the WSDL seems not to be valid...From the generated errors in the IDE, I can see that the problem has to do somewhere/somehow with the WSDL Binding element, which input parameters do not match the input parameters of the port type.
    This is a small part of the WSDL file as generated by XI:
         <wsdl:message name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Input">
              <wsdl:part name="parameters" element="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"/>
         </wsdl:message>
         <wsdl:message name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Output">
              <wsdl:part name="parameters" element="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Response" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"/>
         </wsdl:message>
         <wsdl:portType name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.PortType">
              <wsdl:operation name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS">
                   <wsdl:input message="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Input"/>
                   <wsdl:output message="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Output"/>
              </wsdl:operation>
         </wsdl:portType>
         <wsdl:binding name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.SAPBinding" type="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.PortType" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/">

    Has anyone faced a situation like this before? Any clues where to look? I appreciate any feedback, thanks!

    Hi Rob!
    I'm facing the same problem - how did you solve your issue then? I'm getting following error during generation on .NET side:
    ============================================================================================
    Error: There was an error processing 'http://server/wsdl/MIAMI_ACCDOCPost.wsdl'.
      - The document at the url http://server/wsdl/MIAMI_ACCDOCPost.wsdl

    The error message from each known type may help you fix the problem:
    - Report from 'DISCO Document' is 'Discovery document at the URL http://server/wsdl/MIAMI_ACCDOCPost.wsdl could not be found.'.
      - The document format is not recognized (the content type is 'content/unknown').
    - Report from 'WSDL Document' is 'There is an error in XML document (2, 70138).'.
      - Value cannot be null.

    do you know how can i do to integrate my animation .swf inside my java class?Java can't play SWF files and Flash can't handle Java classes, so what you're suggesting here doesn't make a lot of sense.

  • Not able to read the wsdl file from server Premature EOF encounter

    Hi All,
    I am facing issue while accessing a web Service from server. Here is the clear view about it.
    I created a simple SyncBpel process in a composite and deployed in to the server and it is working fine. Later i created a new Asyn bpel process in a composite and in the external reference i dragged a web Service and imported the wsdl url from server of the SyncBpel and wired the Asynbpel process to webserive .
    Now here i am facing peculiar behavior which i am not able to trace it out.
    1) For the first time when i import the url of syncBpel from the server i am not facing any error and it is working fine as expected but when i close the Jdeveloper and open it i am not able to user the web Service and it is saying as "Not able to read the wsdl file from server Premature EOF encounter"
    2)When i close and open the Jdeveloper i can see the url of the wsdl which imported in webserver is changing from http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/bpelsync_client_ep?WSDL to http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/BPELsync.wsdl
    3)when I open and see the url http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/bpelsync_client_ep?WSDL I can see the soap address as *<soap:address location="http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel!1.0*soa_5cfb8416-c106-40a2-a53b-9054bbe04b9c/bpelsync_client_ep"/>*
    I don’t understand why the soap end contains “*soa_5cfb8416-c106-40a2-a53b-9054bbe04b9c” and this kind of url for soap address is coming to all the bpel process which I am deploying in the server.
    I checked the in Jdeveloper where webproxy is uncheck and the server is also up but still I am facing issue of reading the error.
    Can someone please help in resolving the issue.
    I am using SOA 11g 11.1.1.5 and Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5
    Many thanks.

    Hi,
    Setting default from the jdeveloper -
    During composite deployment from Jdeveloper (wizard driven), you will be given an option to choose the version of the composite and there will also be an option for you to choose if the composite needs to be deployed as default.
    Setting default from the em console -
    After deploying a composite, login to the em console and click on the composite that you want to set as default, and you will find a tab - "Set as Default". please note that this tab will not be seen, if the composite is already set as default.

  • Can ABAP proxy to consume WSDL file be run as background job for every10min

    Hi all,
    I have a requirement where I need to build an interface which gatheru2019s the purchase order details and send to external third party software in their required format (as an XML file).
    So I should be the first point of contact and should trigger the interface each time a purchase order is generated.
    So I am thinking that I should develop a background job for every 10 minutes which will look for new purchase orders and gathers the information of the purchase orders and send them to external third party software in their required format.
    I have gone through all the SAP forums and e-Learning but still I have confusion in regards to how is it possible technically? Can some one guide me with some information on the same.
    I have a little bit of confusion and want to know few things.
    1)     Should I create a web service or should I consume a web service?
    2)     If I need to consume a web service, then can I write an ABAP proxy to be run in background fro evry 10 minutes? I mean can we run ABAP proxy as a batch job in the background?
    3)     Is there a difference between consuming an XML file and WSDL File?
    Any Help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Jessica.

    There are two options (as I know) to generate XML file.
    1. Use XML TRANSFORMATION to get the XML string based your TRANSFORMATION. You can input your data and get back the XML string. Download this string to a file
    Test XML generation program is:
    types: begin of ty_data,
           num   type i,
           end   of ty_data.
    DATA: itab TYPE standard table of ty_Data,
          la_data like line of itab,
          xmlstr TYPE string.
    DO 3 TIMES.
      la_data-num = sy-index.
      APPEND la_data TO itab.
    ENDDO.
    CALL TRANSFORMATION ztest_np1
      SOURCE table = itab
      RESULT XML xmlstr.
    CALL FUNCTION 'DISPLAY_XML_STRING'
      EXPORTING xml_string = xmlstr.
    My ZTEST_NP1 transformation. To create a transformation, click on the transformation in the "CALL TRANSFORMATION ztest_np1" statement. Select Simple transformation type.
    <?sap.transform simple?>
    <tt:transform xmlns:tt="http://www.sap.com/transformation-templates">
      <tt:root name="table"/>
      <tt:template>
        <table>
          <tt:loop ref=".table">
            <item>
              <tt:value ref="NUM"/>
            </item>
          </tt:loop>
        </table>
      </tt:template>
    </tt:transform>
    XML string is like:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
      <table>
      <item>1</item>
      <item>2</item>
      <item>3</item>
      </table>
    To use this option, you have to create a transformation and than use it to generate the XML string.
    Check this SAP Help
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/e3/7d4719ca581441b6841f1054ff1326/frameset.htm
    2. You can concatenate and create an XML string and download that string into a file.
