24" iMac dimensions without stand (Specifically depth)
Can anyone give the dimensions of a 24" iMac without the stand?
I'm interested specifically in the depth with the VESA mount attached and how much space would be needed in addition to this to mount on the wall if there wouldn't be enough room to attach the VESA plate directly to the wall.
Thanks in advance,
Andy
The Apple store shows the depth of the 24" iMac as 1.24". The stand depth shows 8.1" in case you need that as well. I don't have a 24" so I can't really comment further. Hope that helps.

IMac dimensions without foot?
Can anyone please post the measurements of the G5 iMac main unit, without the foot stand?
Planning to remove the foot for travel, so I need to know if it will fit in my carry-on.
17" and 20" please, if you can. (I know the new ones are a little thinner, but the old measurements will be good enough for me to work with.)
Thanks a lot!The Apple store shows the depth of the 24" iMac as 1.24". The stand depth shows 8.1" in case you need that as well. I don't have a 24" so I can't really comment further. Hope that helps.

Weight of iMac 27" without stand?
Thinking of wall mounting the iMac 27" and just wanted to know the weight of it so I can get the correct bracket/mount for its weight, anyone know or seen the spec for this?
You will need the VESA Mount Adapter Kit for 24-inch/27-inch iMac and 24-inch LED Cinema Display. Any VESA MIS-D, 100, C type mounting system (100 mm × 100 mm hole pattern) should work with it, since they are rated for up to almost exactly the full weight of the 27" iMac with its normal mounting stand attached (30.5 pounds).

Hello everyone,
I'm kind of newbie with MDX language, I'm trying to get filtered measures from a cube with a specific layout.
Here is my exemple :
I want to get all the "order numbers" where the "invoice" cost is more than 300. Each invoice is linked with an ID, one order number can have several invoices.
So what I do is a select request with 2 dimensions : "order num" and "id_invoice"
Here is the result : I get all the cost sorted by "order num" and I can easealy identify those who are above 300
order num
Id_invoice

How is it possible to use a filter on a dimension without showing it or merge 2 attributes of the same dimension ?
The problem is that if I show "id" column, the filter doesn't work properly : it compares 300 with the total cost of the whole order and does not compare with each invoice (which could be under 300 ! - see "KO" in Total2 column)
Here is the request I use to generate this result :

I reduced the cube with a subselect.

Can i Comment it ? If so won't my application go into dump while running on 6.0cc???It has to do with packages. Most java classes are in a package, the name of which must conform to its place on the filesystem relative to the classpath. By that I mean that if you have com.mystuff.One.java, it must be in a folder com/mystuff where com is located somewhere in the classpath.
What you've done is a little different. I'm assuming a couple of things:
1. you have no package declaration at the top of one.java or two.java
2. you have the current directory "." in your classpath.
Java has the concept of the "default package", which covers classes without a declared package, and in your case is the current directory.
So when you're in c:\sourcefolder and run the compiler, then "."="c:\sourcefolder", and that directory is part of the default package. No import statements are necessary for classes that are in the same package. This is why two.java can call methods in one.java without an import statement.
When you run your jsp, the "current directory" part of your classpath is not c:\sourcefolder, but some other value (probably the directory you start your jsp engine from) You will have to import all non-java-library classes because the jsp itself becomes a java class, with a package that is determined by the jsp engine. -
I just purchased a 24" iMac A1225 without a hard drive. Can I transfer the drive from my old 17" iMac, with OS 10.68 installed on it, or do I have to clone, migrate or reinstall?
HalAha OK then, that should work fine.
The only snag might be, if your missing the original thermal sensor from the original 24" Hard Drive.
Then again, you should be able to use the one that came from the original 17" Hard Drive.

Hi expert,
We are trying the validate the PA_TIME_CLIENT_EXTN package body. It is giving the below error.
0/0 PL/SQL: Compilation unit analysis terminated
1/14 PLS-00905: object APPS.PA_TIME_CLIENT_EXTN is invalid
1/14 PLS-00304: cannot compile body of 'PA_TIME_CLIENT_EXTN' without
its specification
My environment details are as below.
Oracle apps version: 11.5.10.2
DB version : 11.2.0.1
OS version : IBM AIX 6.1
Please help me on this.
ThanksThis error is usually seen when you have a different datatype specification in your package specification and your package body. I think that is some thing you might want to check first.

Roles for the user to Edit the Dimension without being an administrator
Dear Users,
I have a query based on Planning security.
I want the user to edit the dimensions and members in planning application. However, the user cannot be administrator.
I have created a user and assigned the role of "Interactive User" on Planning roles and of "Dimension Editor" on Shared Services access. With this provisioning user the "Administration-->Dimension" is grayed out for the user.
Please suggest if roles can be assigned to the user in order to Edit the Dimension without being an administrator?
Regards,
Praveen.I am sure this question gets asked over and over, they need to be an administrator.
Cheers
John

My iMac G5 without intel chips, Mac OS X 10.5.8.
using Firefox 364 no problem at all.
But unable to install Firefox 4 on it, prompt "You can't open the application because it is not supported on this architecture"Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
There is a third-party version of Firefox 4 that works on PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox -

Good morning, I'm Bohyeon Kim from South Korea. I've been really appreciating your company's CC service which is like super excellent.
But, for a couple of days lately, i've been having this problem like shown above. Whenever I try to log-in, I, without no specific reason ,automatically been logged-out. Strangely, I have no problems at all using CC products (like Illustrator) though. Plus, I've paid every single fee for monthly plan perfectly well.
I hope this problem will be fixed as soon as possible, since I have to use CC like everyday for my business.Sign Out When Sign In http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1450581?tstart=0 may help

Can I swap the power supply on my iMac G5 without any unwanted side effects?
Hi All,
I'm new and have searched related posts, but have not found an answer to this exact question.
I have a first generation US version iMac G5. The label says that the power supply is 100-120V. Can I swap the power supply using an internationally rated power supply (100-240V) from a later version iMac G5 without any unwanted side effects? Such as the iMac G5 ALS power supply?
I live China and would prefer not to rely on an external power suppressor or convertor. I would prefer to plug and go.
Thanks,

Can Siri set a Reminder WITHOUT a specific time or place?
I love siri's Reminder feature, but I can't seem to figure something out. What if I want to ask Siri "Remind me to buy milk," then siri says "ok, when would you like me to remind you?" I want to be able to set a reminder WITHOUT a specific time. So then I say "No specific time," and siri dismisses the reminder.
Is there a proper voice command when she asks "When should i remind you?" Like "Just make a todo, don't set an alarm"
Or should I not be asking for a reminder? Asking for a ToDo hasn't worked.I found this in another thread...
When Siri asks when to make the reminder, just say "Never" -

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
New Macs do not come with DVDs to reinstall Mac OS X. Instead, you have got OS X Recovery > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718
If you have forgotten your user account password, you can still reset it through OS X Recovery by following these steps > http://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4101 You may need to do some work with the keychain after resetting your password > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1631?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
