2LIS_03_BF Error
Hi All,
We are in the process of upgrading 3.0b to Netweaver 2004s and while extracting the data from 2LIS_03_BF DataSource we are getting the error in RSMO "Material XXXXX does not exist or is not activated (Message no. M3305) ".This LO extraction was done after filling the setup tables. When we checked in the source system (ECC 6.0) the material is not avilable in material master .However that material could be archieved completly from the System by the User .
When we checked the application log in the source system we were getting the Status message (not the error message)
'Diagnosis:
BADI implementation: Explosion of structured materials
The document information in document XXXXXX, item XXXX in the data source 2LIS_02_BF is not complete for the explosion of structured materials. The field MATNR does not contain a value".
When we further analysed then found that the BAdi 'RSU5_SAPI_BADI' is active for implementation WRF_BWEXT_STRUKTART in the system.This is different from the earlier version 4.6c .Also the method IF_EX_RSU5_SAPI_BADI~DATA_TRANSFORM has DataSource 2LIS_03_BF as attributes.
So our question is how to complete the loading even the material does not exist in the source system ? We have completed all the master data loading and this is only for transactional loading.
If we deactivte this BAdi this error would be resolved?But this BAdi is used for adding the extra fields .So what could be the impact if we need this BAdi later?
Or is there any other reason for getting this error?

We are not using the 7.0 Transformation method as it is a techical upgrade .
We are using the InfoPackge (3X method) and we have used 'Always update data,even if no master data exists for the data " option .

This seems to me like you have earlier migrated the update rules to transformations. We did the same earlier and faced issues whenever we add new fields/infoobjects. The error message was different, if i remember correctly.
We had to add the new field/infoobject added, to the structure '_ty_s_*****' that exists at the top of the start routine code. This was one disadvantage of migration of rules. -

I have activated the cube 0IC_C03 and the associated datasources. But the transformation for datasource 2LIS_03_BF (stocl mvt) shows : start routine sytaxe error
Error Details :

Problem is difference between type definition "_ty_s_SC_1" and "_ty_s_SC_1_full" on start routine
data package type: tyt_SC_1_full ( derived with tys_SC_1_full )
source package type: tyt_SC_1 ( derived with tys_SC_1 )
Eliminate differences adding and commenting lines
only on tys_SC_1_full.

Hi all,
Iam getting activation error (Start Routine) while activating the transformation for the 2LIS_03_BF (Material Movements) data source for 0IC_C03 INFO CUBE. Iam getting an error for the Start Routine and the error message is as follows:

Scenario: As per my client requirment i have tried to add on info object in to the existing info cube i.e., Movement Type which is an existing field in the info source and the data source and i have tried to map the same in the transformations between the info source and the info cube and activated the transformation. Then iam getting the above said start routine error, so to avoid this i have removed that object i.e., movement type from the info cube and tried to reactivate the transformations still iam getting the same routine error.
Please suggest me th approach to resolve this issue.

Error while installing the Business Content 2lis_03_bf Transformation
Hi,
I have installed total 0ic_c03 cube and successful.
Data is populating correct. When ever Releasing the Request error getting which Local objects not captured in request which are there in 2lis_03_bf info source, For this Error I have deleted the objects from info source and activated and activated transformation. But those object are there in the ROUTINES and disturbed. KEYFIGURES Routine are disappeared.
Again when have installing the BF infosource and transformations from Business content is getting below error. for Ref below screen shot.
Please advise me : urgent

it seems like issue with ABAP routine.
Can you try to get detail error by doing syntax check.
Also if you are in BW 7.31 - I notices while releasing it shows error. I will suggest ignore it and just released. it worked for me.
You always have option to recapture the transport and resend the same objects, if earlier failed.

Sometimes because of huge data that you are trying to fill it might through you a dump. So please execute it in background and see if it works?.
But still can't really say what that dump tells from what you attached.

Error when using the InfoSource 2LIS_03_BF in Netweaver 2004s
Hi All,
We are in the process of upgrading 3.0b to Netweaver 2004s and while extracting the data from 2LIS_03_BF we are getting the error "Material XXXXX does not exist or is not activated" (Message no. M3305). When we checked in the source system the material is not avilable .However that material could be archieved or deleted in the UAT phase .
So our question is how to complete the loading even the material does not exist in the source system ? We have completed all the master data loading and this is only for transactional loading. When we checked the application log in the source system we were getting the message
'Diagnosis:
BADI implementation: Explosion of structured materials
The document information in document XXXXXX, item XXXX in the data source 2LIS_02_BF is not complete for the explosion of structured materials. The field MATNR does not contain a value".
Please let me know whether this situation is new in Netweaver 2004s or already exist in the old versions and anyone faced the same error before?

Thanks for the immediate reply.We filled the set-up tables after that
we checked in RSA3 and it was fine .We could see the record with that deleted material value .Also the PSA is not giving any error records
We checked the update routines and that were fine .
The system log from source system is giving the error after the extraction but RSA3 is working fine.

i am on 703 BI content, than when i activated the 0ic_c03 infocube I observed that in transformation 2lis_03_bf mapping is missing, target field should is not mapped with source field, in earlier version of bi content target fields is gettinc caluclated by some routine and secondly start routine of 2lis_03_bf have syntax error, same with 2lis_03_bx and um transformation.
so we upgraded to BI conetent 704 with patch 0001 than i reactivated the 0ic_c03 cube but though problem is same.
so, we are now planning to upgrade support patch 0003 for BI content 704, will support patch 0003 for BI content 704 solve the problem or anyother thing required to do with current status of BI conetent 704 with patch 0001 to solve this issue?

we applied the 0003 support pack/patch for the BI content 704 from patch 0001 of BI content 704,
now start routine error of 2lis_03_bf is gone, transformation is comin as active verson once we do reactivation of object from BI content,
But still missing the mapping rules in transformation.
note 1179880 is saying that Import Support Package 3 into your system. is that mean patch 0003 for BI content 704?

A Support Package that contains all transformations is available for Release BI_CONT 7.04. Import Support Package 3 into your system.
If you install Release 7.04 by upgrading from Release 7.03, only the changed objects (delta) are imported into the system. As a result, transformations may be deleted in the system, and you may only notice this when you activate the new BI Content from Release 7.04. The missing transformations are delivered completely in this Support Package"

I have activated the infocube 0sd_c03 with grouping "in data flow before" and the infocube is activated with datasources

when I activate the transformation I get error as mentioned below:
Start Routine: Syntax error in routine and in the start routine when I check the details of the error is
E:In PERFORM or CALL FUNCTION "ROUTINE_9998", the actual parameter
"SOURCE_PACKAGE" is incompatible with the formal parameter
"DATA_PACKAGE".
If source pakage is replaced by data package the system message is data_package is not available.
What do I do to resolve this issue.

There is a structral diffrence between SOURCE_PACKAGE and DATA_PACKAGE
so you need to change tys_SC_1_full

Error while activating update rule in Inventory
I was working with migration of datasource 2LIS_03_BF from 3.x to 7.0 in MM module.
Recieved an error while activating update rule 0RT_C17 2LIS_03_BF in Inventory module.
When I checked the routine ,it shows the following error.
Errror:E:The Dictionary structure or table "/BI0/PMAT_SALES" is either not active or does not exist.
I am not usre how to resolve this.
Kindly reply asap.1. Activate the master data infoobject for 0MAT_SALES at info object level of RSA1
2. Replicate and Activate the data source once again by using the program > SE38 : RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL
3. Then try to migrate you datasource and activate you update rules.

Error while activating the update rules related to Inventory

In standard Cube 0ic_c03, I am including a field 0MAT_DOC that is available in the transfer rules of 2lis_03_bx. And when I include that info object in the cube my update rules are getting deactivated.
When I try to activate the update rules, I am getting the following error message:
1. InfoSource 2LIS_03_BX is only set up for the initial run for non-cumulatives.
2. IC=0IC_C03 IS=2LIS_03_BX error when checking the update rules.
Requesting you to please guide me on how do I go about solving this issue.

For implementation of inventory in the BW side, first you need to carry out following steps sequentially:
1. MCNB: Filling set up tables for initial entry of stock balances from 2lis_03_BX
2. OLI1BW:Filling set up tables for stock movements from 2lis_03_BF.
3. OLIZBW:Filling set up tables for inventory revaluations from 2lis_03_UM
Check the Business content cube 0IC_C03.
Also check the document how to inventory management.
For report install the business content report for the cube 0IC_C03 and check it.

Dump error while filling the Setup table
Hi All,
I am trying to fill the setup table.While filling the stup table for 2lis_03_BF datasource, i got the Dump error after some time. I have checked the data in Setup table and found 9000 records.
Shall i proceed further by pulling the data from R/3 to BW.I have checked the data in RSA3 and got some data.
Shall i schedule the data from BW side.
Pls help on this issue.

Symptom
Within an instance, you use the NetWeaver components of SAP ERP and BW.
When you execute transactions like to fill rebuild tables in Logistics, the system issues the termination message M2 630:
 No extraction structure active or no BW connected
The connection test and the settings for the Myself source system are definitely correctly maintained.
Other terms
OLTP, extractor, data extraction, DataSource, API service, SAPI, RSA2_SERV_BW_CONNECTED, OLI1BW, OLIZBW, OLI3BW, OLI9BW, 2LIS_XX_XXX, M2630, SBIW, LIS, rebuild
Reason and Prerequisites
The problem is caused by a program error.
Prerequisites:
Within an instance, you are using the NetWeaver components of SAP ERP and BW. Thus, potential data loading processes are executed by using the Myself source system connection.
No other BW system is connected for data as a target system.
Cause:
Prior to NetWeaver, you could not operate ERP and BW in one common system. For this reason, the case that Logistics data need to be loaded into the same system for BW functions was not considered. The system as "source system" does not recognize that the system is connected as a "BW system".
Solution
To correct the problem, you need Service API 7.00 Support Package 08 or PI 2004.1 4.6C Support Package 13 in the affected source system. The attached composite SAP note informs you on which software components contain Service API 7.0 and lists the corresponding Support Packages of these components.
Alternatively, implement the attached program corrections.
In the BW system, you only need to implement the correction if the BW system is affected in its role as a source system for itselt (myself connection) or for another BW system.
Caution: Service API is an internal component. Therfore, it is not delivered separately but as a part of other software components: PI, CRM, PI_BASIS and several others. Thus, a composite SAP note is created for each SAPI correction note. This composite note describes which Support Packages of the above mentioned software components contain the SAPI correction. However, the composite SAP note will only be released when the corresponding SAPI Support Packages are released.
