  • Green screen doesn't work with Apple's own animated backgrounds

    Aloha--
I am putting together some greenscreen videos for a class, and I cannot get any of the Apple animated backgrounds to work.  I've tried several of the spinning globe options, but when I drag my video onto them, I do see the "+" symbol, but the options are always to replace the clip, never to apply the greescreen.  If I use one of the Apple plain still clips, or a video I record myself, I do see the "greenscreen" option and I can make them work with my greenscreen videos, but I'd really like to get one of the spinning globes to work, especially as the Apple help indicates that they were designed for greenscreens.  How can I make this work?  Thanks.

The problem with the Spinning Globe is: this is no 'video'
    Create a New Project
Add just the globe you like
    Export this 'Project'
re-import resulting video into your Events
you notice the difference in my attached example?
globe#1 was ex- and imported = Dino applied via green-screen
globe #2, 'interactive' generated graphics = no green-screen optional

  • [Athlon64] Corecenter doesn't work with WinXP 64

    Hi all,
I've installed Windows XP Professional 64 bit Corporate on my K8T Neo-FIS2R MS-6702 motherboard. I've installed Athlon 64 drivers for XP64, VIA Hyperion for XP64 and the rest of the drivers needed for XP64 (all the latest version available in the MSI site for XP 64 bits).
I've enabled the Cool & Quiet feature in the bios, and I've set the energy profile in XP's power management as 'Minimal power management' and I've installed the last version of Corecenter (2.0.0.4) but it doesn't work. A message appears saying my motherboard is not supported by Corecenter! I've other partition installed with Windows XP Prof. 32 bit and Corecenter works fine, controlling CPU & fan velocity.
In the MSI website you can read that corecenter works with 'all Windows versions', but I'm wondering if this includes Windows XP 64bit too.
Does anyone get work corecenter in XP 64 bits?
    Thanks in advance!

Just use speedfan to control fan speed in x64
It's funny, that msi has no working application for x64 yet

I have an iPod touch 2nd generation and my touch screen doesn't work, at all. What should I do?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • My palm m105's touch screen doesn't work properly after a sync.

I dug out my old m105, put new batteries in and start it. On first launch it auto runs the alignment tool, and after touching all the points it goes to the main screen and works fine. No problem till here.
Now, I plug it into my old computer which still has the palm software with my apps, and I run the sync operation (from the palm device sync manager, cause I lost my cradle and I'm connected via the serial cable), and it syncs fine BUT, here comes the problem, when it finishes the sync (successfully) the touch screen is all misaligned. I can't go back to the home screen or do anything useful.

I think i layed on top of my ipod touch 4g and now the screen doesn't work right and I can't unlock it. I've tried reseting the device and restoring it and that does not help. Is there a mechanical fix I can do I have a screwdriver for ipod screws I just don't know how to fix it. So basically is there a way for me to fix the screen on my device myself if not where can I send it to, to get it fixed and how much and how long will it take. Thanks for any help!

No way to fix it. Seems like a bad digitizer.

  • Apple Keyboard with number pad doesn't work with Mac Pro?

I have a Mac Pro, and have used an Apple Keyboard with a number pad (not bluetooth) with it for quite a while, with no problems. But then my keyboard broke and I ordered a replacement Apple Keyboard with a number pad (not bluetooth). This keyboard doesn't work with my Mac Pro. I have it plugged in, but I can't get the Mac Pro to consistently recognize that there is a USB keyboard connected to it. What magical stuff do I have to do to get the keyboard to be fit for purpose?

It would not hurt to try an SMC Reset. (But if it does not help, it adds credence to lllaass assertion that the keyboard is not working.)

  • Touch screen doesn't work!!!

I got my TP two weeks ago, played with it for a day and a half then, in the middle of surfing the web, the touch screen doesn't work. I've contacted HP support and sent my device in for repair. I got it back two days ago (12/30/2011), worked totally fine for 20 mins and the touch screen didn't work again. I've tried using WebOS Doctor 3.0, 3.0.2, 3.0.4 nothing works.
I've tried rebooting it multiple times, still doesn't work. Frustrating I must say....
    Any suggestions?

Gotcha, so I just want to make sure I'm following you correctly. At this point the screen is probably all black from the auto-turn-off thing. You hit the power button, and the little yellow lock icon appears on the bottom. But when you try to drag the little lock icon, nothing happens. Does that describe what's happening to you?

  • Exit screen doesn't work

    Hi everyone,
In screen painter there is the code:
        WHEN 'EXIT'.
          LEAVE PROGRAM.
But it doesn't exit the current screen. What's the problem? (leave screen doesn't work either.)
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    use this.
    Process After Input.
    Module exit AT EXIT-COMMAND.
    in program.
    Case Okcode.
    When 'Exit'.
    leave to screen 0.
Automatic field checks can be avoided by AT EXIT-COMMAND, Which works exactly the same way as cancel works on application tols bar.
EXIT button on the toolbar has FUNCTION TYPE 'E' only function type's can enter a module with addition AT EXIT-COMMAND

Other potential things to check: make sure you are getting the right value passed in
    productCatalog="${applicationScope.product}"
${product} by preference would take a pageContext, request or session attribute before the application level one (it uses pageContext.findAttribute).
What do you get if you just print out ${product} on the screen?
It should call a toString() on it for rendering purposes.

  • Buffalo Nas Navigator2 doesn't work with Mavericks

    Hello,
    On my Mac Pro (5.1) Buffalo Nas Navigator2 (v2.69 & v1.71) doesn't work with Mavericks :-(
The window opens and closes immediately (approximately 2s).
According the Buffalo support, all the versions works with Mac OS (including Mavericks ?)
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards
    Olivier
PS: the firewall is not enabled

    Hello Mark,
    Thank you for your message.
For your information, I have no problem with the Finder (I don't use cifs), I can see my LinkStation. The problem is only with Nas Navigator.
Yesterday I tried to use LinkNavigator: Link Navigator installs Nas Navigator and tried to connect to the Link Station, and I could see a message like "no Link Station found on the network" while I have 4 Link Station :-(
I believe that Finder and Nas Navigator do not use the same protocol.
It's curious that the support of Buffalo are not aware about the problem between Nas Navigator and Maverick.

PS: I also use fixed IP ;-)

go to '''TOOLS '''then '''OPTIONS''' then '''ADVANCED''' then '''NETWORK tab''' then '''SETTINGS tab''' and select the options '''NO PROXY''' click '''OK''' and '''OK '''again in the next screen. With that you have disabled the proxy settings.
''if you like to not disable the proxy settings choose'' : '''Auto-detect proxy settings for this network''' (it is in the same session)

  • MPEG-2 Plugin doesn't work with SVCD ?

    Hi,
I just purchased the rather expensive MPEG-2 plugin for Quicktime, only to find that it doesn't work with a .mpg I have on a SVCD. Apple support in Australia have bent over backwards to help without success - apparently it just "doesn't work". Customer relations in Australia have, by comparison, been extremely poor in addressing my complaint (ie, they won't provide a refund).
I guess this is a warning to anyone who assumes the premium priced MPEG-2 plug-in for Quicktime will play what just about every other cheap downloadable MPEG2 player will.
    Paul

There should be no quality loss as longs as the ripped CD is in good shape...
(XS)VCD disks have very little error correction -- that's why you can put as much as ~797.9 MB of MPEG2 data on a "80 minute CD" in (XS)VCD format, while you can put only ~703.1 MB if you treat the same CD as a regular data-CD. ...and audio-CDs use no error correction at all so you can put ~807.5 MB on an that CD if you treat it as an audio-CD!
So a data-CD holds less stuff but it is more reliable to get a bit-for-bit copy back from it.
So: if the (XS)VCD or audio-CD has a small defect and you rip it, then the application must sometimes guess and make the ripped data out of thin air. Luckily the human ear/eye don't usually notice any quality loss, though.
