3G no longer working at office. Tower, or phone problem?

For about a week, the 3G data connection on my iPhone has not been working from my office. I'm not sure but this might have happened after my upgrade to iOS 4.3.3. I used to get a slow but steady data rate, both indoors and out. Now, I get 3 coverage indicator bars. Voice works fine, but data only works if I switch off 3G and use EDGE.
I really don't think it's hardware, because it works fine at home and elsewhere. I've reset network settings and performed soft and hard reboots of the phone.
AT&T customer support showed no indication of being able to resolve this problem. My AT&T Blackberry is working fine, for what that's worth.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to troubleshoot the phone?
Or a better way to reach AT&T to troubleshoot the tower/network?

FIRST call AT&T support and have them reset your account settings. The most likely cause is that data has been disabled on your account (call; the droids in the store don't know much; the techies on the help desk generally do).

Summary :
We are using SharePoint 2010 Ent edition and users were able to checkout Pdf files similar to local drafts folder like any other office file without any problem when they used office 2010.
i.e
Unfortunately ever since their machines upgraded with office 2013 recently , this functionality completely stopped working for PDF files. This has now become a big problem for the users when it comes to check out and replace PDF files.
All browser plugins required for this functionality (i.e SharePoint OpenDocuments Class ) are all available and active. All document libraries are configured to Checkout is required for editing files. Browser version
used at the moment is IE9 (32 bit) version with windows 7.
Can anyone please help with this issue and any help to get away with this problem is much appreciated.

Based on your description, my understanding is that the PDF files cannot be checked out to local drafts folder after Office 2013 is installed.
Did this issue occur with Office files?
I recommend to check if the Office files can be checked out to local drafts folder with Office 2013.
And it is recommended to use Office 2010 with SharePoint 2010 for best practice.

ICloud email no longer working on Window 7.8 Phone

I have been receiving my Apple emails on my Windows 7.8 Phone successfully for the last 2 years. About 3 months ago emails could no longer be sent or received and I typically get the following error codes dependant upon how I have my IMAP/SMTP settings configured; 800c2746 or 80072FA8.
Apple email is working fine from my Android tablet and also from my Windows 7 PC and I've tried replicating these settings on my phone without success. I've googled the problem and tried all the different set up options I can find but not have worked. I'm beyond frustrated now and I suspect Apple has broken something during the recent iCloud work for IOS or Yosemite as nothing has changed on any of my devices and it's only my Windows phone that no longer works.
Does ANYONE have a Windows 7 Phone (mine is a Nokia 800) that is successfully sending and receiving iCloud emails as of today, 2nd November 2014. If you do would you be kind enough to tell me what server settings you are using.

We have exatcly the same problem with Samsung omnia 7 (Windows phone 7.8).

We have this problem since mid september and no solution.

After up date my I phone 5 will no longer work when calling an automated phone . Press 1 for this or 2 for that. It tells me wrong selection.

Pretty much. Except that Apple will replace it for a fixed fee that is far less than the cost of a new phone. In the US the replacement cost for an iPhone 4 is $149. It is comparable in the UK. Unless you can prove that the fault was present at the time of purchase. A switch wearing out would probably be considered normal wear and tear, not a "fault".

Firefox is not longer working since this morning's update - problem ?

Using Windows 7 pro with Kaspersky anti-virus. All I had this morning when opening firefox was a blurred outside screen with no data in the middle box area. Nothing works but the min/max/close in the upper right corner. Clicking on the firefox icon there is message "under construction". I've uninstalled and downloaded severakl time but get the same non-working screen. How can I be sure the old defective firefox is gone and that I'm downloading a new copy ?

hello, other users with this problem all had an embedded intel hd graphics card with an old driver present. in case this also applies to you, here would be a link to update the driver, which in turn should also address the black firefox problem.

Autoplay NO LONGER WORKS with the latest update

Just got an automatic iLife update yesterday, over the web.
Since then, the autoplay for quicktime movies in iWeb no longer works. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a solution?

Having the same problem with one I bought with my iPad in the Regent Street Apple Store. Not sure why it wouldn't work unless the OS now needs the lightening Connector certificate to use a card now.
I am hoping there will be a fix real soon or maybe someone knows a work around?

Text frame rollover states in lightbox display comp widget trigger area no longer working in V 3.0

I had text frames with rollover states placed into the trigger area of lightbox display composition widgets
The rollover on the text worked fine, and then when clicked the lightbox composition widget opened
However this morning I updated Muse to the latest version 3.0 (which I was prompted to do) But now all these text frame rollover states no placed into the trigger areas of my lightbox dispslay composition widgets no longer work throughout my entire document
The lightbox will open when I click the text, but the rollover effect will no longer work
Is anyone having the same problem? Is there a way I can fix this? I was supposed to send the site to a client this morning :\

Please fix your CAPS lock, SCREAMING at your fellow user's when asking for help is not a good idea.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

The swipe to delete a podcast no longer works

When i sipe left to right to delete a podcast on ipad 2, it no longer works. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Try quitting the Music app, restart the iPad and the see if you can swipe to delete the podcast (assuming that this is an audio podcast).
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to the Music app and try again.
In the videos app - tap and hold down on the icon and the X to delete will pop up - or tap the edit button and the X will pop up.

I just installed the Lion operating system, basically to upgrade my iPhone. I didn't realize that my Microsoft Office 2004 application would no longer work. I have been using Word for my writing and I receive most of my emails with Word attachments. I have been using Apple products for years, always touting their reliability and customer service. I am not a techie, I just want to be able to do what I do on the computer and Apple always fulfilled my needs. Now I am told because of some operating system gobbledygook, I have to go out and purchase new software to use Word. This is despicable. I see no particular benefit to using Lion, but I do see a lot of detriments. Apple now seems to have turned into Microsoft, making software obsolete so they can make more money and to **** with the customer. You can be sure that my next computer will be a PC. I have completely lost confidence in Apple.

I seem to never tire of saying this. It was for Apple when they first announced 10.7 to disclose this. Yes, it was widely reported -- or rather, rumored -- but not by Apple. And many people who have gotten caught by this assumed that Apple itself would have told them beforehand about the loss of this very important feature which they had come to rely on. As far as I know, not even in fine print, does this appear anywhere on the Lion announcement or any of its links.
I am not saying Apple had to continue Rosetta in Lion, or forever, just that if it was going to be dropped, it should have been made known.
As relative "insiders" we should not forget that many people don't have the time, habit or interest to do this kind of research. I think it is a breach of trust that Apple has never directly made this announcement or given people the opportunity to decide beforehand if giving up their PPC apps for a new OS is a worthwhile tradeoff.

My wifi is no longer working in my home office

I have had my desktop in my office for over a year, last week it stopped working. All other devices are working fine. I can move my desktop to other rooms in the house and wi-fi works fine, but when i plug it back in the office it no longer works. I can only conncect in that room via wifi and now I am stuck. My laptop connects to my wi-fi in the office. I am stumped.

...I don't know what that all means, but when I do it on my laptop I get a transmit rate of 104 and an MCS index of 13. Don't know if that means anything, all other values are the same from both computers
The PHY Mode represents the radio mode that your iMac is connecting to the Wi-Fi network. In this case 802.11n.
BSSID: This is the router's hardware ID. This lets you know which router your iMac is connected to.
Channel: This is the radio and radio channel that your iMac is connected to. In this case, it is connected to channel 7 on the 2.4 GHz band. The only channels that do not interlap, in this band, are: 1, 6, or 11. With your iMac connecting to channel 7 leads me to believe that there may be some form of Wi-Fi interference in the area from this location to it to have to choose another channel.
RSSI: This is a measure of how "strong" the Wi-Fi signal is as perceived by your iMac. The closer this value is to zero, the better.
Transmit Rate: This is the current maximum connection rate that has been established between the iMac and the wireless router. It should be much higher than this.
MCS Index: This is the encoding method used for the wireless connection. It also indicates how many streams are being used for the connection. Depending on the model of your iMac, it should be able to connect with up to three streams. Your wireless router would need to have the same capability for both to connect in this method. Basically the more streams the better. The value of 11 is telling me that it is only using two of those three streams ... and thus why the max transmit rate is so low.
The only thing I can't tell you is why, at this location, your iMac is performing so poorly. Again the only thing I can think of is Wi-Fi interference.

I have an all-in-one printer/copier/fax/scanner, HP Office Jet Pro 8500. The scanner no longer works with the Mavericks upgrade. Is it possible to get the scanner back in use? The printer and fax is fine, but I really use the scanner a lot. Please helap me.

The following link to the HP Support site indicates that scanning is still supported for the OfficeJet Pro 8500 using Mavericks but also indicates that "you may need to scan in a different way than you did before you installed Mavericks." Do you have Microsoft Office:Mac 2004? If your answer to the last question is yes, then the cause of your issue is the fact that OS X Mountain Lion does not support PowerPC-only applications. Microsoft Office:Mac 2004 ran on Intel-based versions of OS X with the help of Rosetta a dynamic translator that synched PowerPC applications to run on Intel-based Macs. Unfortunately, Apple stopped supporting Rosetta since the release of OS X 10.7 and the last version capable of running the translator is OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Your only solution is to invest in a newer version of Microsoft Office:Mac (the most current is 2011; although Office:Mac 2008 will run with no problems under Mountain Lion) wich can be found online in Microsoft's Mac Software website.
If you have a version newer than Microsoft Office 2004, then your problem could be caused by something else, in which case we will need more information.
