403 Error Transmitting the message to endpoint for XML file to XML file

Friends,
This is my 4th day learning XI and getting below issue.
I'm trying to follow the steps to transfer XML file to XML file scenario and when I drop the sender XML file, it seems the file has been picked-up but it does not generate the output file.
I checked in RWB for the message and found below error:
2008-01-04 13:09:48 Error Transmitting the message to endpoint http://sappc:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: Received HTTP response code 403
I tried to access http://sappc:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry from new browser window and I get the same error "403".
I'm able to access http://sappc:8000 fine.
I would appreciate help on this.

Sorry! you were correct I was looking at wrong file adapter. The message is error: (It gives 401 error during XICACHE update)

I am having a SOAP to Proxy scenario. We are using HTTPS without client Authentication.
Everything is running fine and well set on DEV system. After transporting to Test system, i am getting error as :
Error Transmitting the message to endpoint http://host:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 401 : Unauthorized.
I get HTTP 200 Ok response in my soap client but the message is not reaching to Integration Engine. It is failing with above error. On CC monitoring for SOAP adapter it shows call completed successfully. But when I use the mesage ID from CC monitoring in Message monitoring i get the error as shown above in Audit log.
I have checked for Roles attached to my user on DEV and Test systems , I have same roles on both systems.
Any inputs to solve this problem will be very helpful to me. Let me know which service users i need to check for this issue?

1) Check Role -SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER is there in XIAPPLUSER or not.

2) check tyour port entry is like J2EE port 5<System no> or not.

3) If the error in Adapter Engine
then have a look into SAP note- 821026, Delete the Adapter Engine cache in transaction SXI_CACHE Goto --> Cache.
->This note refers in case it happens with high load. I am just sending a small request and no one else is using / testing this interface. So no high load.
4) Check password for user XIISUSER
-> Basis team said they checked for all Xi users and they are not locked.
5) Check password for user XIAFUSER
-> Basis team said they checked for all Xi users and they are not locked.
Any other hints will be helpful.

RNIF adapter error - Transmitting the message to endpoint failed

I have developed one interface SAPR/3 - PI - RNIF (Vendor system). the communication happens from PI to Vendor via HTTPS protocol, the SSL certificates has been installed on PI J2EE engine, and configured in RNIF receiver communication channel.
But when i perofrm end-end test and tryting to send messages from PI to Vendor system getting below error.
"Transmitting the message to endpoint https://**.*.*.:***/SeeburgerDT/HTTPController?HTTPInterface=rosettanet using connection RNIFAdapter failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error transmitting the message over HTTP. Reason: java.lang.RuntimeException: Error while silently connecting: org.w3c.www.protocol.http.HttpException: Connect timed out."
The URL "https://**.*.*.:***/SeeburgerDT/HTTPController?HTTPInterface=rosettanet" provided by Vendor team. i have checkd with the Vendor team and they said the URL works fine from their side and able to receive XML messages from our PI server (we are working on PI7.1.).
Pls suggest why im getting Transmission error in PI RNIF adapter log.
Is it the problem with SSL certificates installed on PI or URL used in RNIF communication channel ?
Please help how to resolve this issue.. i would appreciate your help.

I am getting following error while doing the File to RFC Scenario:
Error is;
SOAPFault received from Integration Server. ErrorCode/Category: XIProtocol/URL_PIPELINE_NOT_FOUND; Params: /sap/xi/engine?type=entry., ENTRY.; AdditionalText: ; ApplicationFaultMessage: ; ErrorStack: Pipeline ID ENTRY., which is expected as value of attribute "type" in the URL, does not exist in the Integration Engine (URL = /sap/xi/engine?type=entry.)

Currently in the SAP XI 3.0 JMS Adapter, I am receiving the following error

No, not using correlation id.
I was able to resolve the issue on this queue by changing the following setting
Under the PROCESSING tab, under XI SETTINGS
Time period for Duplicate Check for EO(IO) (secs) it was set to 86400
I have changed this to 300 seconds and the adapter has now gone green.
BUT......
That said, I have the exact scenario on another sender JMS channel set to 300 seconds and it exhibits the same issue.

In AOL email, checking individual messages in the regular system results in this error message: There was an error loading the message. Please try again later.

In accessing AOL email through the full version, I can navigate within my account (old mail, new mail, spam, etc.) fine, but when I try to open an individual email, I get this error message: "There was an error loading the message. Please try again later."
This is identical to a problem someone else was describing in another thread....unfortunately, nothing you suggested to him seemed to be working. I WAS tricked into opening a file attached to an email immediately before this started, so I think its a virus or something. ANYWAY....I AM able to open the messages when I use AOL's basic version. Initially, the problem seemed only to be in Firefox, but I've tried with Internet Explorer now also, and its the same thing, and the basic version is accessible while the full version is still blocked.
On both browsers, following the error message, I can't even click on the individual messages to TRY to open a different one, and there are some not-quite-right boxes and x's and things that appear on the screen that don't belong.
PLEASE tell me you can't make this go away....I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox....that didn't work. I've also fun McAffee, and that didn't change anything.

How to Hold/Block the messages in PI for particular system

Hi,
I want to know the way of holding/blocking the message in PI for particular system. For other system message flow should happpened normally. My Scenario is,
R3->PI->SRM. For connection between PI and SRM we are using proxy. We are going to upgrade our SRM system. During that time there should not be any message flow to SRM. All the message needs to be blocked in PI. Once the upgrade over, we will restart all the messages.
There are lot more system connected to PI. There should not be any interupt on that, message flow should happned normally for other system except SRM. Only the message going to SRM should be blocked.
I found one way, by locking the user which used in communication channel for SRM system. So all the message will be failed in PI with Authentication error. After upgrade we can restart the message.
Is there any other standard way to hold/block the messages which are going to particular system??

By locking user or giving wrong password to RFC destination in PI or by giving wrong business system in Receiver determination we can stop the messages in PI. But those failes messages are available for only few days in SXMB_MONI based on the BASIS settings.
But I don't think this is the best way, we have other alternative is we can save those files in one folder, after upgrade by using some other scenario we can process the files.

Troubleshoot-Adapter engine:Error Setting the message status to DLNG failed

Dear Experts,
We use SAP RFC- PI-JDBC(MSSQL). here the Data(message) successfully transfered to mssql table but the status is been set to DLNG failed, And it finally shown as SYSTEM ERROR.
QoS required: ExactlyOnce , here The Message has got inserted in that particular table and in PI adapter the status turned to DLNG faild and the service again tries to send the same message which is not possible becoz the data is set for primary value.

See above error, It cannot the Duplicate Key in your log table. Duplicate means repeated as a same data.So kindly check once your data.
IF,I assume your scenario is Synchronous, If you are using any sender JDBC adapter just check with your Quality of Service and set it to "Exactly once".

The status is FR and no other status on cost etimate for the article are active. what i shoul do? why if i run the PP order with KO88 i don't have any error?

If dynamic price change is active in your system the first posting in the new period of this material tries to
- release a future cost estimate of that period OR
- change the price to the future price in accounting view
(if the future price date is reached)
Unfortunately this dynamic price change does not work in order settlement. Therefore you are asked to perform the price change first by t-code CKME (or CK24).
If you are using price determination control 3, any price change or release should always be the first transaction in a new period to avoid any inconsistencies.
The dynamic price release will only release the price with transactions which involve material movement and this is not the case by posting invoices and order settlements.
if you are in period 12/2009 then a settlement in 12/2009 does not require the release cost estimate of 01/2010.
But if you are already in 01/2010 therefore settlement in 12/2009 is a posting into the previous period. This will change also data of the current period. Therefore the cost estimate has to be released first.
Another option, if you don't want to receive this message, would be to change this message from Error to Warning (check note 434752).

Why do I always get: 'Error, posting the message. Please make sure all required fields are entered' when I had not been given the option in the first place.
You can tell I am finding this interface frustrating. Why is Apple using software that they cannot (or will not) fix and which consistently performs worse than many other services?
