A bug in Weblogic6.1 for EJB2.0?

Question

Hello All,
I have a hello world type simple stateless session bean which has a method like this:
     public String getMyString()
String s=null;
try
if(s.equals("hello"))
System.out.println("this will never happen");
catch(Exception ex)
ex.printStackTrace();
          return s;
When I package this into a EJB1.1 bean I got the exception print out in the console
like the following:
java.lang.NullPointerException

I am perfectly happy with the printout of the stackTrace because it tells me exactly
in my source code where the exception occurs (at line ExceptionTesterEJB.java:63).
However, when I migrate it to EJB2.0 I got the following:

What's the problem? The line number is gone!! I got tester.ExceptionTesterEJB.getMyString(Unknown
Source).
Can anyone help me out?

Dear Cedric,
How do I do it? I am using ant to do the compilation. Here is the snippet of the
scripts:
