A critical issue for WebService and HTTP Analyzer

According to the tutorial Building Web Services(the url is :http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe11jdev/11/ws/ws.html)
the source code of HelloService.java
============================================
package annotation;
import javax.jws.WebMethod;
import javax.jws.WebService;
import javax.xml.ws.BindingType;
import javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPBinding;
@WebService(serviceName="HelloService")
@BindingType(SOAPBinding.SOAP11HTTP_BINDING)
public class HelloService {
public HelloService() {
@WebMethod
public String sayHello(String s){
return "Hello " +s;
===================================================
I created a simple WebService named HelloService, but when run TestWebservice
it open HTTP Analyzer to test , enter a string "Gary" and click send request,
it was expected that it response a string "Hello gary",
However, HttpAnalyzer display "The Select Message is not soap message"
under the tab "Http content", it show me that:
==============================================
500 Server Error
The following error occurred: [code=CANT_CONNECT_LOOPBACK] Cannot connect due to potential loopback problems
==============================================
Expecting any suggestions for this problem, thanks

Hi,
It sounds like you need to add "localhost" to the exclusion list in your proxy settings. You need to stop the "HTTP Analyzer" first, then go to Tools->Preferences->Web Browser and Proxy. In the exclusion list add in "localhost|127.0.0.1".
Give this a go and get back to me if there is a still a problem,

    iTunes 11 freezes and can't eject my iPod, so I need to disconnect the cable, then iTunes works just fine and my iPod Shuffle is in restoring mode. I've been having this issue for weeks, and never had it before with iTunes 10. Please tell me at least a way to eject it without losing all my data and being forced to format/restore the iPod.    I've got 2GB iPod Shuffle 2nd generation(:D)

    As a test, shut down (power off) your computer and disconnect all USB devices including hub (except for standard keyboard and mouse if normally used).  If your computer is a laptop, connect its power adapter (so that it's not running on battery power).  Do this to reset the shuffle
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1655
    Start up the computer, run iTunes, and connect the shuffle to a direct USB port on the computer.  Does this problem recur when the shuffle is the only USB device?
    If it does (as another test), select the shuffle in iTunes, so that its Settings screen is showing.  Check the box for Enable disk use, and Apply.  Does that make any difference regarding this problem?

  • Https for SOAP and HTTP Receiver adapters in PI 7.1

    Hi,
    We need HTTPS Transport protocol is required to send the message to receiver systems.
    Currently we are using below procedures for https:
    1)     HTTP with SSL (= HTTPS) without client authentication
    2)      HTTP with SSL (= HTTPS) with client authentication
    But client donu2019t want this procedure.
    Here my question is How to enable the https Transport protocol in SOAP and HTTP Receiver adapters.

    >>Here my question is How to enable the https Transport protocol in SOAP and HTTP Receiver adapters.
    What I see is your client wants PI to send communication via HTTPS transport protocol. That means you have to apply for trusted certificate and import that certificate root node in Netweaver keystore.
    Then change the transport protocol from http to https in soap and http receiver communication channel and communicate to client via certificate authentication.
    Plenty of documents available in sdn about https certificate authentication. Please go through those links.

  • SSL Installation for AS2 and HTTPS

    Hi b2bgurus,
    Please let me know the steps to install SSL for various trading partners.
    Does the B2B server need a bounce after every certificate install/change.
    I would like to install the certificates for AS2[EDI] and HTTPS protocals.

    Does the B2B server need a bounce after every certificate install/change.B2B supports SSL via Weblogic SSL implementation and hence if you are making any change with respect to identity certificate then you may need a server bounce. If you are just adding/removing a trust certificate (partner's certificate) then no bounce is required.
    I would like to install the certificates for AS2[EDI] and HTTPS protocals.Please refer below posts -

  • Role Assignment Discovery Issue for Files and Folders through Sharepoint REST services

    To preface, I am a decided Sharepoint newbie in every sense. I am trying to use the Sharepoint REST services (Sharepoint 2013) to walk the folder and file structure of my Sharepoint server and, determine as I go, the Role Assignments (and subsequently
    Permissions) on those folders and files. I'm using an Administrator credentials and I'm actually able to successfully do it but I've run into some caveats. All the caveats begin with this; when I'm examining a folder, for example:
    /_api/Web/GetFolderByServerRelativeUrl('/sites/cmisdev/Development')/ListItemAllFields
    I receive either an empty list or an error response doc when following the link supplied for ListItemAllFields.  When following that kind of link for folders, I either get:
    <d:ListItemAllFields
    m:null="true"
    />
    or an error response document that says "The object specified does not belong to a list." When I hit the /ListItemAllFields endpoint for files, I receive a response with a link for Role Assignments which subsequently also works and I get the
    info I need. So, is this a bug? Why does the link returned from Sharepoint work for files and not folders? So, google, google, google, and I discover that there is another possible way to get at the Role Assignments (and that the object does, indeed, belong
    to a list!).
    If I know the Title (or the guid) of the folder in question, I can use the following endpoint:
    /_api/Web/Lists/GetByTitle('Development')
    If I use that endpoint, I get the information I would have expected to get from following /ListItemAllFields and the subsequent Role Assignments links all work and I get what I need. If there's a bug and this is how I have to work around it, that's fine
    but I have yet to discover how to dynamically determine the Title of a given folder nor am I sure if all Titles are supposed to be unique within a given Sharepoint server. I'm assuming that the folder name as represented in the server relative URL and the
    Title may be different and this is where my newbishness may start to shine if I'm misunderstanding what a "List" is supposed to be in Sharepoint. Anyway, I did find that I could use the Properties endpoint to perhaps get the Title, for example:
    /_api/Web/GetFolderByServerRelativeUrl('/sites/cmisdev/Development')/Properties
    gives me:
    <d:vti_x005f_listtitle>Development</d:vti_x005f_listtitle>
    whose value I assume I could then supply to the /GetByTitle endpoint and be golden. However, "vti_x005f_listtitle" just sounds a little too deep to be something I should be relying on but maybe that's kosher. That's part of what I'm trying to
    find out. Also, if there is a way to use the Sharepoint REST API to discover the guid of a given object, then I could look it up in that way.
    So, in summary:
    1. Am I going about getting folder Role Assignment information in the wrong way? Based on the CSOM examples I've seen, I believe I'm doing it correctly and that the answer to #2 below is a resounding "Yes!" :)
    2. Is it a bug if I'm not able to use /ListItemAllFields on folders using the server relative url?
    3. If I'm supposed to use GetByTitle as a workaround, am I discovering that Title correctly through /Properties? Seems quite circuitous and awkward. Are Titles required to be unique throughout a given Sharepoint server?
    4. If I'm supposed to use the guid, how can I use the REST interface to discover an object's guid? Once we get down to the Role Assignments and other links, the guid appears in those links but I don't know how to discover it independently if that's the
    path I should use to get the data I described above.

    Upon further research, I'll answer my own question for the benefit of some other potential future newbie.  The answer to question number 1 above is "Not exactly.".  The server relative URLs I was using corresponded to lists (which are
    returned as a collection through /_api/web/lists).  I was treating them mentally like regular folders.  That, coupled with the fact that accessing their data as I showed above returns a ListItemAllFields link, made me think that was the way to get
    the Role Assignments just as I would for files and, as it turns out, "real" folders and sub-folders created under these lists.  That was the other problem with thinking of these lists as regular folders.  So, ListItemAllFields works on
    all files and folders in a list.  However, if you want Role Assignments for the lists themselves, you can keep track of the Titles and\or Guids from the /_api/web/lists that you're interested in (in my case, all non-hidden "document library"
    type lists) and then access those Role Assignments as I discussed in questions 3 and 4 above.  For example, from the /_api/web/lists collection from my test server, the "Development" document library Role Assignments are accessable via /_api/Web/Lists(guid'cd242eeb-aafa-4efa-aecc-9bbdf8e3d459')/RoleAssignments
    or /_api/Web/Lists/GetByTitle('Development')/RoleAssignments.

  • NEW findings on the MS Remote Desktop issues for iOS and MacOS, please read Microsoft

    Hi there,
    Yesterday morning, I posted this topic: http://tinyurl.com/kohtjnm
    Since then, new findings has brought some light on the issue. As stated in that last topic, I work for a software company that uses RDP as a clouding solution. Our customers using iPads were no longer able to connect since September while users with Windows
    and Android were working fine. We figured that MacOS users didn't have problems either until one of them called us yesterday.
    On tablets, we assist the customer to configure a single connection since it's usually not their main methods of working, but on MacOS, we configure 2 connections, two different domain names leading to the same server, this is in case one of the domain provider
    is down like it happened in the past. The first domain is with Network Solutions while the 2nd domain is with GoDaddy.com Canada. With the MacOS user who called us yesterday, we found out that the 1st address (Network Solutions) didn't work but the 2nd address
    (GoDaddy) did work. At first, we thought that the problem was with her Mac since no other Mac customer called us. Later that day, we had a new customer with a Mac and after setting him up, I had the same issue, the Network Solution address didn't work either.
    After I was done with the Mac customer, I quickly grabbed our iPad and set-up MS Remote Desktop with our 2nd domain address (GoDaddy) and it worked!!! The problem is that somehow, your
    latest program update is no longer compatible with every domain name address, it has nothing to do with gateways since both domain names have a gateway address from the respective provider.
    So to recap, everything is cool with Windows and Android, the problem is the version 8 of your program for Apple products, it's not compatible with every domain name, something's jamming the connections, it's up to you to figure out what.
    Thank you

    Hi,
    Thanks for your feedback, I will forward your concern to the product group.

  • Critical issue for language lab! Quicktime Streaming broken for Guest

    An issue reported in January is still apparently unfixed because we're experiencing the same problem as Jeremy. Here is his message, which had no replies (his message is between the dashes):
    Quicktime streaming and the Leopard Guest Account
    Posted: Jan 28, 2008 4:21 PM
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1367366
    If I set the account to be managed it doesn't work. I cannot access QuickTime streams using Leopard's built in Guest account. If I set the the streaming transport to http I get "403 forbidden", if I set it to udp I get "-3285 Disconnected". Anyone know how to fix this? I do not have the "Website Restrictions" turned on for this account. That is to say, I have the the controls enabled to block specific applications, but I set it to "Allow unrestricted access to websites"
    (on this point, you can't NOT have the parentalcontrols proxy running for some, infuriating, reason. If you want to manage which Apps a given account access to, the parentalcontrols proxy is enabled, and cannot be bypassed, even if select not to filter web content).
    We set up a fresh Guest Account on our new iMacs that just came in. They're running 10.5.6 and Quicktime 7.5.5 (which I re-installed in an attempt to fix the issue). Like Jeremy, I get the Disconnected error when Quicktime is set to UDP and Forbidden when it's set to HTTP.
    I have tried to use the latest Server Admin Tools to disable/enable Parental Controls and Application launching management, to no avail. I've repaired permissions several times. I've copied the Internet plug-ins to the Guest account directory (System - Library - User Template - English.lproj - Library - Internet Plug-Ins). I've tried the same thing with the Quicktime Preferences file from the admin account in which streaming is working. I have also tried giving every Internet plug-in max read-write permissions for every user and the folder, too. I disabled Parental Controls in the Guest Account. Nothing works.
    We're going to have to completely re-make our lab image and re-image the lab, which is a huge undertaking because of this long-standing bug.

    I believe I have partially fixed the issue.
    Disabling Parental Controls in the Guest account when logged into the Guest account does nothing, despite the prompt for an admin username and password. One must log into an admin account directly to turn them off via the Accounts control panel.
    Turning Parental Controls off allows us to once again view streaming movies via the Quicktime plug-in in a webpage. Hooray!
    However, Parental Controls remains problem, so it behooves Apple to figure out why it is interfering with basic functionality like this. Another issue turning off Parental Controls solved is an issue with Adobe's Flash plug-in in the Panaorama web site, a language learning textbook. With Parental Controls on, the voice recording functionality via Flash is broken, too.

  • J2ME Webservices and https?

    does anyone have the anwser?
    I found 3 parst of a tutorial from IBM Building a secure SOAP client for J2ME ...u can find them on sites:
    http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/edu/ws-dw-ws-soa-securesoap1.html
    http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/edu/ws-dw-ws-soa-securesoap2.html
    http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/edu/ws-dw-ws-soa-securesoap3.html
    but as far as I can understand u can secure WS in J2ME only if u use the java card? isn't there another way? anyone please?
    is there a way to use https for calling web-services in J2ME (CLDC 1.1/MIDP2.0 ) without any cards?
    I also found a link to Secure your Web services (JSR-172)
    http://developer.sonyericsson.com/wiki/display/leftnav/Secure+your+Web+services+(JSR-172)
    Everything works fine....till when u want to create a stub in wireless toolkit....u get an error...JSR-172 webservices specification dosn't support HTTPS support....
    so is there any way to use HTTPS and JSR-172 or a sample how to write a secure stub or secure your WS with WS-Security standards?
    Thank YOU for any answers!

    I found solution, but I don't know, if it's pure.
    When I change crossdomain.xml like this:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">

    Hi ADF Experts,
    I am using 11.1.1.7.0 jdeveloper version.
    My questions are:- Can we create a webservice proxy from a webservice which contain multiple schemas? If yes how?
    While I separated the schemas into different filesystem and tried calling from wsdl. Also then I am getting the below error.
    "The following invalid value had caused a oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLDOMException: invalid namespace for prefix ns1"

    However in SoapUI, the wsdl has no namespace error.
    Thanks for your valueable comments in advance,

  • SOAP Adapter:  Content Type Issue in WebServices via HTTP

    Hi,
    I have configured a Receiver SOAP adapter. When i had to test the message i had an HTTP 415 error.
    i found that the sender SOAP adpater that received this message is not capable of handling Content-Type: Application/XML i.e. which is being transmitted by the Receiver SOAP Adapter.
    Please let me know how to configure in the Receiver SOAP adapter so that the HTTP Content-Type would be TEXT/XML instead of Application/XML .

    Please help.

    Well. You say you want to insert a node as a child of another node, and it needs to be inserted before a certain other child node.
    There's an insertBefore() method in the Node interface. Use that.
    And if you thought that was a challenging issue then you might as well give up writing DOM code right now.

    Hi Experts,
    I have one question like I am procuring a material from domestic vendor and same material I am procuring from abroad vendor.

    Hi
    use split valuation procedure for same by valuation type you can achieve this
    check following link
    [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/47/61017149f011d1894c0000e829fbbd/content.htm]
    [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d09889cd-5df5-2d10-979c-8f11abbba28d?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true]
    [http://www.sap-img.com/mm025.htm]
    To select split valuation ( 'OMWC'), proceed as follows:
    1. Determine the valuation categories and valuation types that are allowed for all valuation areas:
    global valuation categories via menu "Goto --> Global Categories"
    global valuation types via menu "Goto --> Global Types"
    2. Allocate the valuation types to the valuation categories.
    a) Select "Goto --> Global Categories".
    b) Position the cursor on a valuation category and select
    "Goto --> Global Categories --> Assignments --> 'Types->Category'".
    c) Activate the valuation types you want.
    3. Determine the local valuation categories for each valuation area.
    a) Select "Goto --> Local definitions".
    b) Position the cursor on a valuation area and select
    "Goto --> Local Definitions --> Allocate Categoires->Org.units (button Cats->(OU)".
    You obtain a list of the global valuation categories.
    c) Activate the categories to be used in this valuation area.
    The system creates the local valuation types based on the allocations under point 2.
    Only now can you create a master record with split valuation.
