A link from my animation is locked inside the dimensions of the original animation. the link should go to new url but opens in i frame instead, scroll-able, within the dimensions of the beginning edge animation from which it linked.

This makes no sense at all - all of your previous statements indicate that you do have an iPhoto library but have some problems with it
By default your iPHoto library is located in your Pictures folder and is named iPhtoo library - if tha tis not the case the you have moved or renamed it and only you know what you did until you tell us the details

Is there any way to cut & paste a group of links from a Word dod into a Bookmark/Folder, or must I open each link and save one at a time?

It is much easier if you save the file with those links as an HTML file with A href="http" links in MS Word and import that file in Firefox.

My new iphone 5 screen does not rotate from portrait to landscape. It is stuck in portrait. I checked and its not locked (double clicked home button scrolled over and the circle arrow does NOT have lock inside it).

My screen refuses to rotate (the home screen). I already double clicked home button and scrolled over, the circle arrow does NOT have the lock inside it. I went thru all the settings and can find nothing to try and fix this. Do I need to send the phone back? Is it broken? I just got it yesterday. It has not been damaged in any way. Please help.

Link from InfoView to WAD template

Hi everybody,
Im trying to create a link from infoview to a WAD template, but when I insert the URL in infoView it gets stuck in a loading loop.
Is it possible to create a link from InfoView to a WAD template? Or is it possible force the link to open in a new window?

openDocument is not an option because im not trying to create a link to a document inside infoview.
WAD is a SAP frontend BI tool. Im trying to create link in InfoView to a Web Application Designer template. Actually my question could be paraphrased to: How to load a BEx query into a html Frame? (The problem is the same)
As the domains of InfoView and of the SAP portal (where the template will be displayed) are different, the loading process get stuck in a loop. I've heard the solution might lay on [Domain Relaxing|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/28/7c383f717b5f03e10000000a114084/frameset.htm].
Has anybody implemented a workaround for this?

You can change the order of the boxes on the about:newtab page and drag an item to a different slot to pin it to that position or you can remove a website by clicking the close X to block that URL.<br />
You can drag a bookmark or history item and drop them in a slot on the about:newtab page to pin them and have your own favorites sites showing.
Changes made manually on the about:newtab page are stored in the browser.newtabpage.pinned (default = [null]) and browser.newtabpage.blocked prefs that you can check/modify on the about:config page (Bug 791447).

Youtube URL (but not links to Youtube from pages elsewhere) crashes all three of my browsers., Youtube URL (but not links to Youtube from pages elsewhere) crashes all three of my browsers.

All three of my browsers crash when I enter the Youtube URL <http://www.youtube.com> in the address window. Safari reports that the problem may be caused by my Adobe Flash Player, so I reinstalled that, rebooted. Didn't help. Google Help then suggested I empty the cache and remove all cookies. I did that (with Firefox). Also didn't help. Then I Repaired Permissions. That didn't help either.
But if I use Yahoo video search, or any other site's link to get to a Youtube video, there's no problem; the video not only plays, but once I'm in the Youtube site, I can navigate within it and play other Youtube videos. And when I bookmark a Youtube site, I can use that bookmark to return to Youtube.
The crashes occur only when I type Youtube's URL into my browsers' address windows. And since they occur with all three of my browsers, I have to think the fault is in my OS.
I have a G4 Mac laptop WITHOUT an Intel chip, using OSX10v10.5.8.
What might I do to fix this?

At about the same time the above problem arose, I could no longer play any FaceBook videos. Error message: "Upgrade to latest Flash player". But I HAVE the latest Flash version (10.0.12.36) that my NON-INTEL Mac, a G4 with OSX10.5.8. can support. And it had been working on FB.
(Note: the Adobe Flash Player site offering Flash upgrades for OSX10 specify that the upgrades are only for machines with Intel chips.)

I'll gladly install whichever one you say, but I'll be amazed (and delighted!) if that stops my browsers from crashing whenever I enter http://www.youtube.com in the address window. I can play youtube videos and navigate the site once I reach it using a link from another site, but if I enter http://www.youtube.com in the browser window and hit Return, the colored wheel rotates for several seconds, then the browser crashes. Happens with Safari, Firefox and Netscape, so I suppose the bug must be in the OS. I Repaired Permissions - didn't help. Disc First Aid verifies as OK.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to create a link from a document library to a UNC path?
I need to establish links to resources in an existing document repository, but Sharepoint presents the following message when attempting to add the link "Enter a valid document name and URL. Valid URLs must begin with 'http:' or 'https:'"

Following are the steps to achieve this.
1) Create a site content type of type "link to a document" with "Document" as a parent content type.
2) Add the same to the document library.
3) Go in the layouts folder open newlink.aspx in Visual Studio IDE
4) add the following function to the script tag

7) Change the wss resource file present in app_globalresources to show the following message "Enter a valid document name and URL. Valid URLs must begin with 'http:' or 'https:' or 'file://'"

Recognize a link from an rss source?

Hi, I am now trying to improve my rss reader. Links from the html rss are being shown in brackets, but cannot be selected and forwarded to the standard windows program (http:// -> browser).
Is there a way to "recognize" a link from an rss source? I want my rss reader, which shows the content of this blog: "http://blog.fefe.de/rss.xml?html", to have an overview of sources he uses for each post with directlinks to the source.

I pulled in your rss data source and noticed that the "(http://...)" format for your links comes from
ThisItem!description column. Therefore to achieve what you want, I recommend using the following rule for OnSelect on the visual that you are displaying the data in:

I have an Spanning tree problem when i conect 2 links from Switch DELL M6220 (there are blades to virtual machines too) to 2 links towards 2 switches CISCO 3750 connected with an stack (behavior like one switch for redundancy, with one IP of management)
In dell virtual machine is Spanning tree rapid stp, and in 3750 is Spanning tree mode pvst, cisco says that this is not important, only is longer time to create the tree.
I dont know but do you like this solutions i want to try on sunday?:

How is "linked from these webpages" determined?

I'm trying to write an automator workflow that will scrape images but it's not working.
Should be straight forward as the html has a bunch of <img tags that reference another site
now is that "on these webpages" or "linked from these webpages"
these arent hrefs which is what I'd expect the later to be but you never know how this is determined.
needless to say neither approach is working

Well in my case it would appear there's something wrong with the actual scraping since View results shows {} for the image urls returned when either linked or this page is selected.
So now i'm screwed because I have no other way to diagnose the problem ie. why the <img elements are being missed by the action.

Removing Links From Block of Text

Is there a method to remove all links from a block of text?
It's mostly plain text with many links throughout. I want to simply
remove all the links without doing one at a time.

or a hackish way to do this would be to highlight the entire
bit of text and then make one huge link, and then delete the a tag
as there would only be one a tag then.

ITunes U links from inside Blackboard

We are interested in adding links to ITunes U from individual courses in Blackboard. My main concern is that I haven't figured out how to prevent users from accessing the link from outside BB by simply cutting and pasting the link.
Does anyone know how to add some level of security such that the link can only be accessed if they are clicking on it in BB?

Our solution was to create a Building Block for Blackboard that does all the authentication and authorization for our iTunes U site.
Basically the module just logs the user into BB (if they aren't already), creates a set of iTU credentials based on the courses the user is enrolled in, and sends the browser a redirect to the requested iTU page. On the iTU side, we match up the identifiers of the iTU courses with the course id's in BB and set up credentials that correspond to the various role's in Blackboard. At that point, everything falls into place. You'll have student access to an iTU course if and only if you are a student in the corresponding BB course (likewise for instructors).
