I am a Java beginer. Your topic helped me with a little big problem I had running my first web application. I was trying to run a XPpetstore baseline, which is a web application developed by Rick Hightower for his book "Java Tools for eXtreme Programming, Mastering Open Source Tools, including Ant, JUnit and Cactus" published at John Wiley &Sons, Inc. 2002.

after I've read this disscusion and changed the original category_sys.jsp into <%@page import='xptoolkit.petstore.model.*' %>
<jsp:useBean id='categorySystem' class='xptoolkit.petstore.model.CategorySystem' scope='session'/>everything wroks fine. Only thing I do not understand completly is that even if I have imported the package using <%@page import directive tomcat cannot find the CategorySystem class. Can somebody give me some explanation?

This happened to me a few times before and resolved alone, but last time it happened was when i turned off my router and back on while my comp was running and appeared when i tried opening firefox after that. so wat i did was i shutdown the computer and the router and tried turning both on again, and it resolved.
Therefore, Summary: Shutdown computer then turnoff router then turn both back on

Someone else's Notes appearing on my iPhone. I'm using version 5.0.1. I assume there is some type of over-the-air sync problem happening?
Doing a restore will more than likely resolve the problem. Plug the phone into iTunes, select your phone under DEVICES, and press Restore. This will restore your phone to factory settings. Now, after the restore is complete, you have two options:
1) Restore from Backup
This will let you restore all of the content you had on your phone but may also restore the other person's notes and their ability to sync notes to your phone.
2) Set Up as New iPhone
Your data will not be restored, but you can always sync content back later as long as it is in iTunes. On the positive side, this would positively remove any setting that would allow someone else's notes to appear on your phone.
You will be presented with these two options after the restore. I recommend restoring from a backup first so you won't lose your data, but if it doesn't solve the problem, proceed to restore as a new phone. -
Actually I have problem in adding music to be played across all folios, the problem happened when I just lock the ipad and open it, the publication is still opened and i can navigate it but the music is stopped, and cann't be continued. how can I fix it to be continued after opening the ipad and continue navigating the digital publication.

Account not in account list. - Major problems happened to my account
Intro
I installed a program that really messed up my main account. I have "fixed" most of it. I will ask my specific question first since most people will not want to read a ton. I will also write what happened since that knowledge may be needed. I have multiple issues which I will post as separate threads in their relevant forum, all with this this header.
Problem:
When starting my machine, my main account no longer shows in the list of accounts to log into. "Other" appears and I can use that, enter my username and pword and log in that way. How can I get my account added back to the list?
Background:
I installed a FTP server called MySecureShell. It had a setting for the initial ftp dir which was set to /home/$user. I set it to /home/jedherzog (jedherzog is the account shortname that I use). After restarting my machine everything in my account was broken. The dock and desktop were the OSX defaults. None of my apps would run, they returned a permission error. In finder "jedherzog" was in the sidebar like I was logged into that account but if I tried to access it or the desktop I got permission errors. I ran terminal but instead of seeing the prompt jedherzog: I saw -MySecureShell(265) malloc: and a long error message and I could not use it. I ran disk utility and repair permission but it did not help. I created a new account called temp and everything worked fine in it. So I was convinced OSX was fine, it was just the account jedherzog that was messed up. So using terminal I sudo(ed) to root and looked at the /Users/jedherzog dir. The owner was set to 501 not jedherzog. So I changed it back (recursively) to jedherzog. Now, back in the jedherzog account, things look much better. My dock and desktop are restored. My apps run but all act like they are running for their first time. From what I can tell I have access to all of my files (although I got "operation not permitted" messages on a lot files when I changed the owner back to jedherzog). But my terminal still does not work (will post in a different thread). My account is not in the account list at start up). That is all that I have found wrong so far.

I got a replacement to my daughter’s iPad mini in September b/c her 1st one stopped working and now it happened again. I took it to the Apple store and i was told that there's nothing they can do. What's wrong with the iPad minis?
I have an iPad mini and it works great, so do many other people.
Is it possible your daughter abused the device? If it gets dropped, even in a damage proof case, it is a shock to the iPad. Most survive, but if it happens often, it might be a problem.
Charging often, not completely, leaving in charger while in use a lot?
Leaving the iPad in a hot car, or freezing the iPad? -
WMV Rendering problems happened out of nowhere
I've had no problems with AE before. I'm using a photo slideshow template with some nice transitions and effects. Worked just fine when I exported it to WMV for months. In fact I've rendered the same eact file several times. However I wanted to make one final picture change and now all of a sudden when I render it to WMV, the footage is slow, choppy and very distorted. I tried rendering it to Quicktime and it seemed to work. So did H.264 but it was low quality.
I even opened up other AE projects and they all now render choppy, distorted video when output to WMV (it never did that before!). Not sure what happened because I didn't change anything in the settings at all. I've even tried uninstalling and re-installing, and it still renders out the same slow, choppy, distored video for WMV. I'm at a complete loss!
Please helpEither a Windows Update changed some Media Player components or you updated/ changed the graphics driver. Verify the files on another system. If they play fine there, then investigate these things on your own system.

I created the PersonFactory class as DataControl, so I can use the getPersons() and getNames()(just for test, so they are simple), I drag the names from
the DataControl palette as Table in a JClientPanel, good luck, it works and displays the 4 Strings in a table, but when I drag the persons from
the DataControl palette as Table in the same JClientPanel, it does not work and raises exception :

I am sorry for not explaining well. I mean that the getNames() works fine, but getPersons() does not. The only diferenece between them is the former is simple string and the latter is javabean, but when I made the PersonFactory as DataControl, I set the bean class Person for the getPersons()(list of persons) bean class.
I debuged the class, the exceptions raised when the table for getPersons() setModel() method called.
So, where is the problem?

Firefox corrupted the file I download. Upon fix with reset or uninstal, more problem happened
This all started 5 hours ago, when I tried to download a .doc file from my school website but Microsoft Word opened it with "file conversion" options and the preview is filled with unreadable codes. I was using Nightly 64-bit on a newly installed Windows 8.1 64 bit system (about a week ago after I upgrade my ssd).
1. I tried open other .exl file from the same website, but Microsoft Excel could not open it at all saying the file is corrupted. I used IE 11 to download the same files and it worked perfectly. Problem with Nightly it looked like.
2. I reset Nightly then tried to download the same file again, not working. Tried safemode disable all addons and try to download the .doc file. It surprisly worked!. So it seems like an addon problem. Then I disabled all addons manually restarted again but tested not working. I was really frustrated at this point so I believe my Nightly was hacked by malware or some hidden plugins.
3. Uninstalled Nightly then I cleaned all files left with Ccleaner. I checked full scan with Windows security essential; downloaded malware cleaner "Malwarebytes". Yes a few malware like files were detected and cleaned up.
4. Downloaded waterfox 64-bit but now more problems appeared. It still cannot download the .doc or exl file now. The right click menu is not showing up at any webpage, image or highlighted texts. Ctrl+click link to open link in new tab is not working, just nothing happens. I try to reset or safemode restart, Nope! the help menu is gone, perfectly clear!
In brief, I would not like to reinstall my OS for this issue. I wish I could find some software remover that detects firefox virus pluggins. I don't want to try the 32-bit version of firefox for this issue.

I deleted everything, and download the official firefox 32-bit and tried your advice disable everything. Yes it worked! it brought up the help menu.
And the word document is working as well after I could 'help-troubleshoot-rest firefox'.
Thank you very much. I think it was the Nightly setup naturally not compatible with .doc links. It also messed up the settings for my waterfox/firefox which I downloaded later.
However the right-click menu is still not normal. nothing shows up nor I could open up link in a new window. This did not happened in Nightly as I stated in the original question. Any suggestions?
Btw. After this I might stay with the official firefox 32-bit for now. is there any performance difference with 64-bit or compatible issue with Windows 8.1? I know that 64 bit firefox is not released yet. -

I'm extremely new to extending Forms using JavaBeans, and clearly am doing something wrong. I've created a fairly simple class that exposes a single method. The class performs as expected, when run from my IDE, but I've had no luck extending a form with it. Here it is:

hello guys. I need your help. I had an phone. iPhone5, bought last June of this month in China. I am a filipino, now I am here in Philippines. The problem has just started last week. Everytime I open my phone, there's a green color at center's screen bigger than my thumb. I tried to turn it ON/OFF for several times but the problm is still the same. Next, I open the "Erase All Settings" and finally delete all the files and the phone restarted.
