A ridiculous story about Sony services in Israel

Good day.
I've bought xpereia Z 2 on 28.09.2014 in the KSP market. SO from the first day of using it i've found out that people do not hear me. After chating with support team, i tried to reset tepelephone, but nothing helped. I went to store and asked to change it, they told that it was impossible and told me to repair it due to warranty list (i have 2 year warranty with taking and returning telephone from my place)
Here goes the interesting part.   I called due to warranty and got a wonderful answer: "no problem to repair, but i have to bring it" .; When i came to the department (on october 5 2014 AD) they pushed me to buy more warranty from them (screen change), i told that i'll think about that proposition. They took the telephone, copied the warranty list  and told me that it (would will itself like a newborn) be ready to use in 48 hours.
On the next day (7 of october 2014) they called to me and told:"the telephone will be ready in time, the repair will cost about 200  new shekels, how would you like to pay?" I asked:"why should I? i'ts on the warranty and i've bought it broken." They agreed to repair it for free. 
The very next day (8.10.2014), when i was supposing to take that wonderful telephone repaired, a man called from and asked to resend the copy af the warranty once again, cause he could't find the copy he made almost 48 hours before. The copy was fotografed by tablet and sent to his email. It was very suddenly for me to hear such a good news 3 hours before i wanted to get repaired telephone. The man also told me that the telephone would be ready on 12.10.2014 and not before. 
On 12.10.2014 no one even called me to inform about telefhone status. 
On 13.10.2014 i called that company, they told that the telephone would be ready 19.10.2014 (cause they send request to company to get a new part for repair and it was strange for me , as i wrote before they could repair it in no time for 200 new israel sheqels). I was a little bit sad and called to some sweden department, but because of my english speaking was redirected to UK department. I decribed all the situation to representative and ask for help, advice or (at least) a phone number of someone in that huge and wonderful company named "Sony" who could help me, who could maybe influence on israel department, or just do some work to help customer in such a hard day. A representative told me that she didn't know the instruments or even a man of such a great influence, and adviced me to talk once again with israel representative. (i couldn't do it because of holifays in country).
The same day i called to the KSP market support team, described to them my situation, and asked to change the telephone for a new one, because i was afraid not to get repaired one in time. They told that they will try. 
On th 16.10.2014 I've got a call from KSP and i was insured that i'll get a change ' and the representative will call me on 19-21 of october this year.
On 22.10.2014 i called to ksp just to ask "what's up? where is that verybestcool telephone?" They told:"it is very strange that u didn't get it yet, we"ll find out" After they "found out" i called to company which took it for repairwork, they told me that i canceled the repair and in the light of this story i should talk with KSP market. Very that day KSP representative insured me that the telephone will be send to me on the evening 22.10.2014 and if it will not, to call to Sony representative on 23.10.2014.
Today 24 of october 2014 year due to julian calendar. I called to Sony representative in Israel they told me that they will not change me the telephone, it is the problem of KSP company, my old broken one is stil on the verification after repair and maybe they will call me back on 26.10.2014. I called to KSP they told me that they will call me back when they will find out what's happening.
My costs - about 10 hours of my life, nerves, gas, 950 usd for phone, and don't know even how much i'll pay for international calls.
WHat do i have now? minus 950usd in my bank account', no new telephone, i quarreled with many different good people by phone.
The question is where is my new phone or my old money? 
My next steps (after emailing)  i suppose i will not get no telephone on 26.10.2014, so i'll will do the stream on PSN (yes i have an account there), Facebook writing, thinking about calling to the radiostations.

so, here is the end of the story.
about 3 days i tried to talk to 3 companys (1 sony supporter company, 1 their logistic, 1 market) to find out where was my phone.
Nobody could give such an answer.
Then i was driving by that place where i gave the phone for  repair. So i came to that company, and guess what?
the telephone was waiting for me from 23 of october. A new telephone, it was changed, and nobody told me to come.
So the case is closed, and still it is a magik for me to anderstand how sony does work in Israel?

    I don’t know.
    But if you only have to work while travelling about (and I understand correctly) then this might not be an issue with cloud-Photoshop as that can work offline and »only« needs to verify the license every 30 days (or so).

  • Letter Sent To Corporate, Maybe a miscommunication about 3G service?

    First of all, I want to say that I do love my Droid X and I do love Verizon Service, that is if you're in a Verizon Service area.  If Verizon had a tower in my area, I would be more than satisifed.
    Here is the letter I sent, maybe this will be easier than rephrasing/retyping what I want to say:
                 I recently joined the Verizon Wireless network on October 30, 2010.  I switched to Verizon from AT&T because of the poor customer service and signal reception.  I came to Verizon with four lines, one being a Droid X with all of the nice features.  I signed up for service in Barbourville, WV at the Huntington Mall in West Virginia.  I live in Pikeville, KY which Verizon Wireless does not service, although you do have domestic partnerships with a local company called Appalachian Wireless.  I understood that I would have an Ashland, KY phone number and would be in an extended network when I went home, that was explained to me very clearly by the representative in the Verizon Wireless Store. 
                I am writing you today because I believe that I was misinformed on a very important reason as to why I did switch to Verizon Wireless other than reception and customer service.   I did try to email customer service about this issue and the response I got back was to reboot the phone after taking the battery out for a few seconds.  This had nothing to do with the issue.  My issue is that I was told by the Verizon Wireless Representative in Huntington Mall in Barbourville, WV that I would be able to use 3G in the extended network.  I was very excited about finally being able to access to the mobile web with 3G speeds.  When I finally moved back home after doing a bit of traveling, I was very disappointed.  I was in the extended network with a 1X 2G connection.  I go to college here and I am here 98% of the time so now I am stuck with a big fat contract with a poor data connection. 
                Today, I learned that AT&T has now begun their process of bringing 3G here to Pikeville, KY.  They’re just behind Sprint who activated it a few months ago and also Appalachian Wireless.  I was so disappointed that I called Appalachian Wireless (the carrier you have the partnership with) about this issue.  Appalachian Wireless told me that they would in fact allow Verizon Wireless Customers to use their 3G network, but Verizon Wireless would not negotiate a deal as far as prices go.  The representative from Appalachian said that it was not they who would not allow us to use their network, but Verizon Wireless not wanting to pay their prices.  I understand that Verizon does have an agreement with Bluegrass Cellular to allow us to roam off of their 3G network, so the reason I am writing is why not us here in Pikeville, KY?  I have several friends who I have suggested come to Verizon here recently because I am a loyal customer and fan of the company’s innovation and loyalty to its customers.  We have 3 colleges, 2 high schools, a grade school, and the third largest banking industry in the state of Kentucky here within a 5 mile radius of The City of Pikeville.  I know of several customers who have Verizon but are stuck with this same issue.
                I would like to resolve this issue but if I do not hear back with an appropriate response unlike the email I did send to your technical support.  I would like to see if we could negotiate an early termination of the contract.  My phones are still in mint condition that I purchased.  I feel that I was misled by the representative at the store; I am very satisfied as far as call quality and reception.  I am just disappointed that while everyone else is excited about our new 3G here and 4G in the future, I am stuck with a 2nd generation data connection that is useless on today’s phones.  I am paying $30 a month for a 2G connection which to me is not fair.  Since I feel I was misled, I would like to be able to return the phones and have a refund of some sort.  I would love to stay with Verizon, but in my local area here it just isn’t possible to use this service when it is constantly roaming with slow speeds.   I spoke with a leader at Appalachian Wireless and he said to contact you about the issue and maybe something can be done quicker about the issue.  I am fairly advanced when it comes to cell phone networks and carriers.  Before I signed up for Verizon Wireless, I checked the coverage map and it did say that I would have digital coverage which I thought was 3G and this is what the representative even pointed out to me in the store, but I do not like being stuck with this 2 year contract and have an ancient data connection.  Can someone please contact me about either helping me terminate my contract early or about working out a deal with Appalachian Wireless?  I will continue to hold my shares of Verizon Wireless as I believe it is a very innovative and sound company, but I have to do what I have when it comes to my wireless service.  I am very unfortunate not to have Verizon Wireless in my area, but I hope to see you guys come into the area sometime soon.  As I understand you do own the 1900 MHz spectrum here.
    END LETTER:
    My Phone says 1X, and I have an App that tells me in more detail.  1xRTT, I wouldn't mind to use extended 3G if it were availible, but the main reason I switched was for this reason.  Appalachian Wireless was the only 3G carrier around here and I knew Verizon used the same technology, so I knew it would roam.  The lady did explain to me I would be roaming, I understood that, but she did leave out an important part... no 3G, just 1X.
    I am not trying to cry and get out of a contract, I just don't believe in paying $200 a month for a bill and expecting A while getting B.  The phone worked all nice and great with 3G in the store, that was until I got back home. 
    Thanks again guys.
    PS:  I have already contacted customer service, technical support, and wrote emails.  This or the letters is my last resort.

    It being 4 months later, I think you may have to bite the bullet... Sell the phones on Ebay use the money to offset the cost of the ETF's. Or hold up your end for another 20 months.
    And you may not be costing VZW anything extra. Many times the  roaming agreements are reciprocal, meaning  VZW gets to have their millions of subs roam without cost to VZW. In return the much smaller companies few customers get to roam on VZW and the company pays a much lower roaming fee than if they did not not allow VZW to roam.

    My story about the  Blackberry 9320....
    I have asked question's about buying a Blackberry for my Mom/Me for personal use from a few people and all very knowable in the IT world, and from one i know who uses a Blackberry as well manage there enterprise. All said it's too much phone to buy for you Mom.....
    But as it would have it Mom really needed a new phone and when i saw the 9320 on sale i ask her to have a look at the phone and let me know what you think of it. She did... and just loved  phone...the feel..the size..key board..even the white colour.
    So the following day i went and bought the white 9320 for her, and really thought i had a  challenge on my hands to teach a 76 year old to use the phone. Boy was i and every one i talked wrong about the 9320 being too much phone for her to use.
    First off she was very happy to get this Blackberry, and secondly the setup was as easy as easy can get. We logged in to Virgin Account setting applied the new information and with in 5 minis it was updated and live.
    Then came the part to show her how to text and use the phone, and in less then an 30 minutes she had the basics and was texting and calling with easy. I wanted to show her more about the use of what it can do and was told, no i want to figure it out myself so i can learn and remember. But Mom's it's a lot of phone and if you get frustrated you may not be too happy. And the answer i got was that's ok i can figure thing's out on my own, and that way i can learn.
    With in a few days my 76 year old Mom figured out own her how to do just about anything wanted to do with the 9320, contact's, calendar, texting, bed side clock, tasks, making appointment's attaching photo's to texting, using the documents to go and more all on her.
    I was so impressed by how easy and comfortable she felt with the phone i went and bought one for myself.
    We both have had a phone before Christmas and tho it was a learning Curve (lol no pun in tended) in the being we both feel very comfortable use it.
    This is a great little phone and thought i would sharing this story from these two very happy user's.

    I need some clarification about Shared Services. Let us assume Shared Services down in my Environment. I have Admin Authorization. So, My question is - Is it possible to login to the Essbase as a ADMIN and Is it possible to work on applications in Essbase. Without Shared services, Is it possible to login to Essbase and Planning as a ADMIN?
    I didn't face this issue. Just i need to know about it.

    Anyway
    Without starting shared services ...you cant access Essbase application
    starting from 7 to 11x series
    The way of shared services is moulded
    9.2>Open LDAP and shared services
    9.3> same
    9.5> foundation OLAP & foundation Shared services
    11 is actually 9.5 version since oracle bought Hyperion (no much change aprt from installation Though)
    then 11.1.2.1 u have direct foundation which includes shared services and LDAP services
    not sure about 11.1.2.2
    To all of above versions i would say u need to start Shared services which will talk directly or indirectly to essbase server

  • Where can I make a complain about customar service for Verizon Wirless?

    I want to make a a complain about customar service for Verizon Wirless, yet it seems impossible to find a form or an email address, this is really frustrating. I am abroad since june 2013 yet I am still being charged for something and each time I call Verizon I am told the payment is going to be delayed. Each time it never is and I have to make additional 5 phone calls for somebody to take down the payment. This time I was told if I pay my $100 due amount, I am going to be billed $50 and in few days payment will go down to $20, so my total balance will be $20 to pay. On the phone I asked a supervisor 5 times if that is acuurate and he said yes. Of course the bill of $50 never went down and calling Verizon Wireless I just heard that although phones are recorded there is nothing they can do about what that representative told me. I was mislead yet again, If I knew it's $150 I would prefer close my contract with Verizon. Never again I am going to be a Verizon customer, if misleading customers is a way at Verizon I do not want to be customer.
