A SharePoint theme to limit the width of the page to 960px (without limiting width of top ribbon and top navigation)?
I can reduce the width by some CSS inside the page CEWP or Master Page that's fine.
BUT
I need a SharePoint theme - which simply reduces the width of the page content to 960px. (Without affecting the top ribbon and top navigation which should stay as they are).
Any clue how to do that please? Any sample theme?

Not sure what you are asking here exactly. By theme, do you mean a design package (masterpage + css)?

Hi, can someone please tell me why the spell check in pages doesn't work. I went to preferences and enabled this auto spell checker and have set the language to british english. But still it doesn't work while it works perfectly in TextEdit.
Inspector > Text > More > Language
Only applies to selected text, like making it a particular font.
It is not a setting that sticks. If you continue to paste in text from elsewhere particularly the Internet it will have a different or None language set to it. You need to select it and make it B.E.

Is there any way to turn off the auto formatting in Pages? I'm using a blank document, so I figured I could write my letter and add pictures any way I wanted to. But NO! Pages keeps changing the font size! I typed a large heading as a title, and when I try to change to a smaller font for the body of the letter, it changes the size back to the larger size! I am getting SO FRUSTRATED! I've spent over an hour trying to get the stupid program to let me just type my letter! Can anyone help?
The only one left is the "unsubmitted text" dialogue, which would not be a problem if I were not a Facebook user; after updating the "Richard is..." field (which does not require a manual submit to actually send) I get the above message. This is obviously Safari just not realising that the info has been sent and is therefore (I imagine) one for Apple themselves to answer!!

Not being a Facebook User, I'm not sure how to respond to the error situation. However, this would be something to report to Apple as a bug via the Safari Menu. First, open to the page in question, then select "Report Bugs to Apple".

When I first went to do a search using the search box on the right side of the toolbar I noticed it had a different icon. It was so so small I did not recognize it as Ebay until I hit search and it was then I realized my search tool had somehow been changed. The only use my wife had made of the computer since the prior evening was to view an email from the president of a local charity sending an updated roster of officers. I did look at the user profile file and saw that it showed the profile changed as of 7:46 am which was when my wife looked at the email. I tried deleting the file but firefox would not run without it so I restored the file. Our internet security program is Avast.

I have an older Mac Pro (2006). I want to install Boot Camp and Windows. I have installed a boxed Snow Leapord on the machine. And it says the download of the Boot camp drivers cannot continue because they are not available. But at that point I have not inserted a windows disk, so how does it know i have XP?
So it appears I am limited to Windows 7? And where are the Windows 7/Boot Camp Drivers? On the OS disk?
Finally, since I have necer considered Windows 7 before, I assume there are no compatability issues with mainstream applications that were running in XP?

Just remember to reformat the partition (bootcamp partition) to NTFS with the windows installer, ensure to pick the correct partition. -
I took it back to John Lewis today to get fixed as its still under warranty. Because there was scratches on the back of it.... Which is hard to avoid with the slate back!!! I got told apple will probably not fix it as it looks as if I've done it! I couldn't believe it!! If I honestly dropped it that bad to have caused a technical fault inside I would of smashed the screen as the same time!! Absolutely ridiculous as I know it isn't through any fault of my own.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

How to transfer the attributes of one page to other without using submit

I have faced a prob when i use submit to transfer the parameter from page1 to page 2 i can get the parmeter in page 2. But when u try to implement through action of onclick i cannt able to fetch the value of the parameter in the jsp page2. is there is any other option equivalent to request.getParmeterValues. in setting the attribute.

We can send request to server with submitting the page.
why dont you try using xml over http.
This is some thing like thru java script you can pass the values to some Servlet, construt the object there, while returning from the servlet just put your response thru printwriter pw object like pw.print(response);
In java script you can mensioned to retrieve the servlet result.

Page distorted in ITS application when the password in the backend expired.
Hello All-
When the password in the backend is expired for a user and is the user is setup as a dialog user, when the user is trying to access ITS based applications they are getting a page which will prompt to reset password in the portal. This page is distorted, it does not show any labels and the buttons also does not contain any labels on them.
This is a standard page. Does any body know from where this page is getting loaded from the ITS server?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I inserted a Inline Text box into the document, copied the table inside the text box, then pasted it through the document (which lists quilting projects). When the table spans a page break, even when in an inline text box, the picture which is in the right hand column splits, as well as the information pertaining to the particular quilt.

Rearranging the order of the pages
How do i rearrange the order of my pages? they seemed to be clumped in groups and i would like them as individual pages so that i can move them around. every time i try to put in a page break or section i get more blank pages and it still will not let me move pages.

You need Section Breaks not Page Breaks and there can be several reasons why you are getting extra 'blank" pages, most are because they are not blank but have some invisible text on them:
Menu > View > Show Invisibles/Layout

How do you select all paragraphs using the same style in Pages 5.2?
I'm trying to find how to select all paragraphs using the same style in Pages 5.2 without any success. I writing a book and I need to able to adjust all my paragraph styles globally. I see how upgrade my paragraph style when I do something new, but not how to revert back to the orginal template.
For example, in my custom template for my book I have 12 font for a review questions paragraph style. I changed the font size for all this paragraph style to 18 font. Now I want to change it back to size 12 font. But I have this paragraph style at the top and bottom of my document. How to I select all of my review questions style so I can make the font change to all at the same time?
I just upgrade to Pages 5.2 from Pages '09.

I just installed the latest version of iTunes and tried to update my iPhone 4. When I go in to set it up with the new update it is getting stuck on the "Connect to iTunes page". I have connected to iTunes several times, and iTunes is saying sync'd, but the phone isn't doing anything. What should I do?

ICloud using the wrong account in Pages
I am one the gazillion people with two appleids. One for itunes, the other for everything else.
Pages on my iPad will not work with the correct appleid at all.
Enabling "Documents and Data" in iCloud stop the icloud setting in pages from staying on.
If I disable documents and data, then the Pages icloud setting works and it starts syncing, but it seems to sync to the itunes appleid.
icloud pages sync to OSX and to my iphone is working fine. But the iphone only has one email account.
So much for just working.....First, you must have a printer that permits borderless printing. If you do, go to Print Setup and select Borderless Printing. Now in your document select Show Layout from the View menu if it is not already set. You will notice that the grey margins that were there before are now beyond the page area. These are margins that indicate the non-printable areas of the selected printer.
You may now position your pictures as desired. When you go to print, navigate (in the Print dialog window) to the drop down menu that will be titled something like Expansion. Here you can set the amount of enlargement that is necessary for the image to bleed off the edges of the paper.
If your printer will not print borderless, position your pictures within the allowable printing area and trim the completed print. (Or buy a new printer.)

But once i quited muse. And started agian up, and the blue lines were dissapeared....
