A weird SAXParseException problem! HELP!

Question

I have a page which refreshes every x seconds. Everytime it refreshes, it reads data from an xml file which has the ff specs:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
I use these methods for reading and writing to xml files. I have this in my xml reader helper class.

When I execute and test my application in WSAD. It works just fine but I deploy it it the Websphere Application server in a Unix Box...I always get this exception on reading and writing to the xml files.....and I don't have a clue why. Can anyone help me on this? I really need help.

Try the following code to find the exact spot in your document that is causing the error:
try {
} catch(SAXParseException saxParseException) {
     System.out.println("Line Number:  " + saxParseException.getLineNumber());
     System.out.println("Column Number:  " + saxParseException.getColumnNumber());
