Whenever am excuting the progrm that time it's showing the error like your progrm is not in libreary
when this fm is trigger that time showing error.

Hi,
As the function RS_REFRESH_FROM_SELECTOPTIONS gets values of the current's program selection screen all you have to do is to provide your program name here in capital letters.
1) either hardcode it

2) or use sy-repid data object

ABAP coding / tables behind IDOC

Hello *,
First some words about the scenario:
I want to design a composite application prototype which aims to replace an existing system.
In the existing application (non-SAP) material master data is periodically (1 x per night) transferred via (customer) IDOC from SAP PLM to the application own database. Real-time read and search functionality is implemented for this database.
Now, with composite application framework, I have the posibility connecting directly (real-time) to the PLM data via entity services. So no redundant keeping of data is necessary.
So now the problem is, that I need the data of the given IDOC but in request/response scenario implemented as an RFC. Am I right?
How can I realize this? Where can I find the ABAP coding behind the IDOC? And the tables and data fields which fill the IDOC?
Can anyone help me? Or are there any good papers/information about IDOCs?

The whole process comprises of three steps.
1) Creation of user group - Transaction associated with creation of usergroup is SQ03.
2) Creation of infoset - Transaction associated with creation of infoset is SQ02.
3) Creation of queries - Transaction associated with creation of query is SQ01.

Abap select query problem

This report will take delivery document number and delivery date from user and fetches details from delivery table and fetches
corresponding sales order details and billing details and displays sales order details with ALV list.

i just want to know that is this way of fetching the data into internal table okay ?are there any better ways of fetching the data into the internal table ? why is it looping in work area of lips, why not in likp?
(plz dont use field-symbols or oo abap or macros) I WANT TO USE PLAIN AND SIMPLE ABAP STATEMENTS LIKE ABOVE..
By using "vbeln type lips-vbeln" are we refering to the field or data element? plz suggest.
P.S. [my approach was to inner join likp and lips into itab(my internal table).
select data from kna1, vbak,vbap,vbrp into respective internal tables like it_kna1,it_vbak etc.
then using individual loops into the tables, i would use read table to insert data into itab(my final internal table) plz suggest which method wud be more efficient? ]

ok i am posting the select queries once again.
i want to know why are we looping in t_lips and why not t_likp? bcoz tlikp is the header table, if we loop thru it and then read the rest tables then what will be the problem? plz clarify with examples._

Query in IDOC To JDBC Scenario

below is my scenario :
As soon as vendor is created/ updated at R/3 , the IDoc is triggered via. change pointer , and is send to XI. XI will create / update the corresponding vendor in Oracle database at the pther side.
My question is , at Xi how will I come to know that the incoming vendor i have to insert in Oracle or update in oracle., as from XI i have to fire a query isert / update

ABAP or variant for IDOC archiving?

If I want to create a batch job that archives certain IDoc status records based on a formula ie. (current date - 90 days or earlier) will I have to write ABAP to make the call to the archive program or is there a trick to create a variant and schedule this easily?

I am sorry, I left after my last response. What I told you will work for you. For the date-from you will select the variable "current date +/- days" and give -90 there. Also for the date from you will say <=(less than or equal to). So your range should have looked like
Date Created <=06/03/2005 to blank.
I forgot to put the <= sign in my previous post. I tried this and it worked for me. You don't have to manually enter any values here. All you have to do is save the variant with the selection variable and the sign <=.
Anyway, I see that you closed the post, so I assume you got the solution.

ALV_LAYOUT_GET
REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_F4
Also try executing the report, RSVARDOC_610, which will enable the variants sometimes after some modifications.

The steps to be followed are :
1. Find out the relevant BAPI (BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE for VA02).
[for VA01 use BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2]
2. Create a Z program and call the BAPi (same as a Funtion module call).
2. Now, if you see this BAPi, it has

You must enter the order number in the SALESDOCUMENT structure.
You must always enter key fields for changes.

The BAPI does not run a database Commit, which means that the application must trigger the Commit so that the changes are read to the database. To do this, use the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT BAPI.

Bapi to VB(Visual Basic)
Long back I had used the following flow structure to acheive the same.
Report -> SM59 RFC destination -> COM4ABAP -> VB.exe
my report uses the rfc destination to create a COM session with com4abap. com4abap calls the vb.exe and manages the flow of data between sap and vb exe.
You need to have com4abap.exe
If com4abap is installed you will find it in sapgui installatin directory , C:\Program Files\SAPpc\sapgui\RFCSDK\com4abap.
else refer OSS note 419822 for installation of com4abap
after making the settings in com4abap to point to the vb program and setting up rfc destination in sm59 to point to com4abap session , you can use the following function modules to call the vb code.

Apache Reverse Proxy with Abap Web query

Hi to all
We are trying to configure apache 2 to work as a reverse proxy with web abap Netweaver installation.
From inside the network the web query is fine.
Running the query with the reverse proxy we have only the html code in the browser. All the scripts and css are not present.
We checked some messages inside the forum and we have tried a lot of stuff without success.
We use always linux (Fedora, Ubuntu with xampp or apache only) plus the html module or the publisher from http://apache.webthing.com.
Our installation is like this the reverse proxy in the dmz and the netweaver to the inside off coarse, and we don't have the same domain name, i don't know if this is important.
Any help/idea is valuable.

I have seen your solution in other messages but i didn't try it because i was trying to work with the html_proxy module.
I read the documents you gave me plus some apache tutorials on the rewrite rule.
In any case i have my installation working now.
I did some extra changes in my config so now the rules are like that
ProxyVia On
ProxyBadHeader IsError
ProxyRequests Off
ProxyPreserveHost On
ProxyPass /sap http://192.168.1.59:8001/sap

ABAP prog - to Post IDOCs after checking status of BAPI?

Hi,
There are IDOCs in status 64(ready to transmitted to application) in ECC R/3 server. Now I need to post these IDOCs only if the corresponding partner data exists. I have a BAPI to check this condition. How do I achieve this ? Can we write a ABAP program ? Please suggest.

Hi,
You don't need to write custom program to post the IDoc.
Perhaps you can submit/call standard program RBDAPP01 to post IDoc with status 64 after BAPI check when condition met.

HTTP Connection to ABAP System - Query String Not Allowed message

Hi All,
We are trying to create HTTP Connection to ABAP System on a SAP ECC system.
Following entries are added
1 Connection Type: H
2 Target Host: Host name
3 Service Number: HTTP Port name
4 Path Prefix: /sap/XI/engine/?type=entry
It is not allowing me to enter Path prefix as "/sap/XI/engine/?type=entry". It is throwing a warning message as "Query String Not Allowed message".
As per the documentation it is mentioned that - If the system displays the Query String Not Allowed message, you can ignore it.
It is not allowing me to save the entries succesfully . I need to remove the path refix entry then only i am able to save other wise it is not allowing me to proceed at all.
Please let me know what entry i can put for the same or let me know how can i ignore and proceed by saving the path prefix as "/sap/XI/engine/?type=entry".
Please provide your valuable help on this.

ALE triggering ABAP program instead of iDoc

Is it possible to have ALE trigger an ABAP program instead of an iDoc?
We need to send changes in Master Data to a system that can't handle iDoc, but does know what to do with SOAP.

We're talking about an All-in-One system on NetWeaver 700 and ECC 6.0. My company has developed an Add-On for Business One and now they want to develop a similar Add-On for All-in-One. That Add-On should integrate an Open Source system into an SAP system, or at least make the flow of data seem seamless.
I should be very careful with my comments, as I'm not really understanding enough about your requirements. I must admit key words changes in master data and ALE triggered my initial comment.
On second thought it might actually be worthwhile to think about other alternatives. E.g. you could look at the technique SAP uses for BW extractors, which might also be suitable.
I might just be able to hook into the Change Doc system by defining new Change Doc and Change Pointer Types.
Well, per my comment above, maybe you don't even need change pointers. However, if you do, you can mostly rely on existing change documents unless you're dealing with some odd or custom object.
Am I right if I think that IDocs handle those Change Pointers from some kind of scheduled background job?
Part of the setup for change pointers for a specific message type is to define which function module is used for evaluating the change pointers. All change pointers are then evaluated via transaction BD21, program RBDMIDOC, which can also be scheduled in the background.

Well, in theory SAP offers some options: You can filter segments via ALE, use reduced message types or define IDoc views. However, depending on the technique this sometimes requires that the actual application (function module creating the IDocs) has to support it (because it's additional API calls that have to be present).
Defining new IDoc types isn't that attractive to us.
Though I do understand such statement in specific cases, it's hard to relate to it on a general level. I.e. in the latter case it's often more driven by strange company policies than by good design choices.
Anyhow, in the end I'm tempted to think that change pointers with IDocs are one option among many. In your specific case however it sounds as if there's possibly other techniques that might be more suitable. So I'll stop for now before I tell you too much crap pushing you in a wrong direction...
